for what its worth, the reason that lawsuit happened is because McD's was found negligent for superheating coffee in order to hold it longer. They handed someone a cup of near boiling coffee and she was burned badly in her *lap* area. It wasn't simply a case of duh coffee is hot. The story has been co opted by corporate interests to try to steer the blame from negligent practice to make it seem like it was frivolous; it wasn't.

Bagged milk works, but I don't like it because it takes up too much space in the fridge and I prefer being able to put a lid on any beverage container.

It is infinitely more practical and a lot more sanitary that your milk in cartons. Paper cartons, and may I add that paper peels apart when wet? I wouldn't drink that if you promised me a thousand dollars. Although referring to American honour, the perpetrator would probably film it and leave without giving me my money. And do you know how much pollution milk cartons create? It's frankly rather disgusting.* *This is only aimed at anyone who disagrees with Canadians 'bagged milk'. I do not mean to offend anyone, only shoot down unnecessary stupidity.

When I was a kid in California, the milkman delivered boxes of milk (yes, we had a milkman for the first and only time I can remember), so guess what? It was a bag in a box, with the little push button spout, just like wine in a box is (in a bag). America had bagged milk at one time, and we still have bagged wine, which I find far more atrocious. LOL

Actually, I live in Canada and I didn't come across bagged milk until I visited my mom in Toronto when I was 14. Honestly I was so shook, I just couldn't accept it no matter how hard i tried. So I understand the struggle, I'll give you this one Americans. ALTHOUGH THE GUNS IN WALMART IS NOT COOL.

Bagged milk is brilliantly eco-friendly - since nobody uses glass bottles anymore, the bags are the best you can do to cut down on plastic waste.

American money being all the same colour DOES screw me up. It's not that I CAN'T read them, it's that it's way easier to pay for something quickly when you DON'T HAVE TO. Also, this is another thing where the U.S. is the odd one out, since most of the money I've ever seen from other countries is also in different coloured bills.

Very funny, and I think very true. It makes me think of the way France considers Belgium. I am Belgian, and have often felt the French to be loud and arrogant, and thinking they have invented all the best things in the world - while we Belgians go along quietly and excel in achieving great things without drawing attention to ourselves. We also have a great sense of humour, and are very good at making fun of ourselves!
