Consistently mediocre, albeit overpriced. If I go there for a cup of tea, I know about what I'm going to get for four bucks. In most locations, most of the year, I can order white hot chocolate with peppermint and cinnamon, and get as much. It's a safe bet.

Overly spicy food is a no no. You cannot taste anything, and your bottomhole pays a dear price afterwards, all to appear macho!

This is just silly. There are types of caviar that aren't expensive, particularly because you're not meant to shovel it in with a fork. I absolutely love caviar, and it has nothing to do with showing off or being rich (I'm not).

I like all kinds of cheeses, I have tried vegan cheese out of curiosity. They have not got it yet. Close, but in a disgusting way.

If it's prepared and cooked properly, Kale is delicious. Especially Scottish black kale. My family loves it and it's full of nutrients like iron and vitamins.

Candy corn is good

Like a lot of shellfish, it has to be fresh from the ocean. If you have it in a tank at the supermarket where they just sit there it's not worth it. Back on PEI, Canada; 70% of houses are having fresh lobster on Mother's Day right off the boat. Can't beat it.

Or if you’re drunk, the bar closed, and there’s no other place open.

The majority of truffle oil isn't actually made with truffles. The main ingredient is a chemical designed in a laboratory to mimic the aroma of truffles (synthetic 2,4-dithiapentane).

I love beets and have since I was a kid.

When it was first introduced, it was a packet mix that you combined with mayonnaise and real buttermilk. It was delicious then. You can still buy the mix and that's the only way to prepare it IMHO.

Love oatmeal raisin cookies. As well as raisin bread.

I subscribed to a meal delivery service called Freshly & their zucchini pasta is very, very good.

I think I'd actually like it if there was less sugar and more hazelnut.

Actual hazelnut spread is good. This Nutella is trash.

Promoted as healthy, but made with a lot of refined sugar.

As a child it was rare and expensive (Eastern part of Germany, after reunification). Like, I was aaaalways admonished to eat less, only a little on a bun.... so, 20years later I got 2 Nutella-addicted step children (very healthy, fit and un-sweet otherwise, tyvm), and a SO who admonished them not to eat it with a spoon, yadda yadda yum... For Christmas I gave each of my step kids (13/14-ish then) a big jar of Nutella, their names written on it ("xy's property", death skull...) and attached a spoon. " Eat as much as you want to. It's yours." They inhaled theirs, and still (almost 10years later) they brag about it among their peers. And yes, they reduced their intake themselves, and everyone, SO as well, had to giggle if any spoon came near the next Nutella container for years to come. (Parenting hack: Google "paradox intervention")

Bought a jar just to try. Knew it had nuts. I HATE HAZELNUTS.

This is my most hated and overhyped food, too! Like, why would you take crappy chocolate, and make it taste dirty, too?! I finally figured out that I don't like hazelnuts with sweet things. They're delicious with roasted pork or in a salad, but I've found they're so often used (like bad vanilla) to hide the fact that the chocolate is c**p.

If I could download this whole section so many times it would disappear I would!! Nutella is the nectar of God!! And anyone who doesn't believe that is denying the truth and themselves!! Okay I came on a little strong I came out a little hot but I'm just saying Nutella is amazing!!

I never even liked it as a child. My sister would put Nutella a centimetre thick on her bread, I would have thrown up if I'd eaten that. And that's with the EUROPEAN amount of sugar...

First had nutella in the late 60's in Germany. They made a crepe and then spread nutella and folded it up. Stellar hand food.

I agree with this. Total overhype. Especially in Europe so many things are advertises as “chocolate and they are just Nutella. Very disappointing.
