In my home town there was a candy maker that made "stone candy" that looked exactly like polished rocks. We used to buy a handful, then head over to a mineralist shop, put the stones in the bins of similar rocks and wait for other customers. When someone would wander up to the bin, we would come by, pick up a "stone" and pop it in our mouths. It was funny until some kid broke a tooth emulating us. Whoops.
Now I want to try them all... These are very innovative. Eating them makes you fight your instincts :)
Am I the only put off by the appearance of this food?
not all of these look appetizing, but i love his skills and creativity !
The ashtray cake would make a good gag gift or prank
I love how creative these are. A lot of thought went into these, as opposed as sculpting everything out of fondant. I assume they taste a awesome as they look.
He is truly an artist!
These are interesting, you have to be more creative on things. Just the one that I don't like is the ashtray dessert. Why though..Ill pass on that.
I find them interesting as an art form but not as something to eat. I do not need the chefs to spend more time on how it looks than they do on how it tastes
Wow, impressive. The beetroot looks so real.
The chef is creative and talented. Imagine a ridiculously looking food that tastes incredibly good! Perfect Juxtaposition!
Flavors are Devine but presentation is freaky
omg, everything looks so good and i am so hungry, cause didn't had lunch
If I lived in the vicinity of this chef I would save up until I had devoured every last morsel of every one of these wondrous creations. Once a month I would treat myself to a once in a lifetime event.
Awesome, but it doesn't look like it would taste very good...
i've got no comments......... my jaw dropped in amazement !!!
That's impressive! The issue is that in some there is too much gel and unnatural stuffs that help create the illusion, and I don't want to eat that. But still very impressive and some give ideas of possible presentation
This chef is very creative. I like them all too. I also wondered about their taste.
Thank you bored banda for mentioning the instagram account. I was reading my local newspaper and there was an article about him, mentioning his insta acc but not his username. Tried to find him by his name but there are so many people with the same name on instagram xD
Out of the 34 I found only 6 I would be willing to eat.
What part of “first with the eye” did this person not understand? Not appetizing.
Well, it's not like you bite directly into them, cakes are to be cut and eaten in slices. I'm sure, once you cut through and put your piece on a plate, it doesn't look like something inedible anymore.
I love all of these so much! They're so creative.
