Let's face it, men with beards just look a hell of a lot better. In fact, it's been scientifically proven by the Official Journal of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society that guys with beards are more attractive to women. Tsk, why bother with the science, if we already knew the truth about our attraction to a full beard, right ladies? See for yourselves below as Bored Panda has put together a list of hot guys with beards.

Plus, if any of you gentlemen are thinking about implementing your beard styles, there's no better time than Movember and No-Shave November - two great causes that ask to help raise money and awareness by not shaving in November. Movember encourages to grow a mustache through the month and help raise funds for men's health. As for No-Shave November, it's devoted to growing cancer awareness and raising funds by not shaving throughout the month and donating the money you would have spent on shaving and grooming to cancer prevention.

But enough with talking - scroll to our list of finest specimens of celebrities with beards below!

The whole setting here is different...of course Aragorn looks awesome, but that's partly because he is Aragorn.

Well, he also wears glasses, have other type of clothing, bad makeup and, flash that makes eyebrows hard to see, bad lightning and unstyled hair. How can we compare?

Pretty sure it's also the 15 extra years, and better lighting.

He mainly looks beter because his face is not as red and because ofbthebetter chosen haircut. Beards helps too, but it's not the main thing. He wouldn't have looked so good if he were ro have a beard in the first picture

Let's see the beard pic clearly has less shine, no glasses. Obviously he's more done up in the beard pic then the without beard pic. No makeup in the without hence the blotchy complexion. To argue the beard pic looks better when comparing a made up pic to one without make up is apples to oranges. Of course the make up making the more even complexion would look better.

Beard is definitely better...but he is older in that beard pic, too.

He's also not wearing the glasses, which make his eyes look small and out of proportion to his face.

Right, and it has nothing at all to do with the softer lighting, even skin tone, and removal of hipster glasses (distorting his eyes in the "before" image) in the professional portrait... Come on.

He looks better without the nerdy glasses, the sweat, the bad hairdo, the better lighting, the nicer clothes, the less awkward smile and when he actually takes time to pose for a photo. Oh, and the beard is kinda ok, i suppose.

There are so many differences in the first photo, and the second one. His hair is redder, his hair is longer and styled differently(which in my opinion makes him look like he is going bald), he has different teeth, he is younger, and he is wearing glasses.

Think he'll look better with a fuller beard, this just looks like dirty chest hair!

His expression is always what I like to call 'hopefully pessimistic.' I imagine he's thinking. "I like lasagna, but I ordered the linguini."

Jared's hot regardless. Seriously. The man could wear a flower print poncho, striped leggings, and a top hat and still by smokin'
