Experienced Programmer And Amateur Cartoonist Create Super Serious Company, And The Results Are Hilarious
Starting a company is tough, even more so for Neil Sarkar and Santiago Garza, the founders of Super Serious Company.
The duo met while working at Tinder, where Sarkar, an experienced software engineer, was Santi's direct manager. The contrast was stark: one was a well-respected industry veteran; the other was a surfer living in his van, always late to work. But soon, the two became the best of friends and decided to quit their jobs to move to a foreign country and start their own company.
They've since been posting to Instagram with cute little cartoon versions of themselves trying to get rich through their apps, all of which fail spectacularly. The earnest and hilarious cartoons have been well received, depicting a struggle that is all too relatable.
