As someone who was the only child in the family, I had always thought that having a few brothers would make my life way more fun. Sara Easter, a photographer from Arlington, Texas, has been documenting the everyday life of her three sons (4,7, and 9), and her photo series only support my childhood fantasy. Of course, what is "fun" to a kid, often means something else to those raising kids.
"At this point, the boys are pretty immune to my picture taking," Easter told Bored Panda. "I photograph them almost daily so they hardly even notice me doing it anymore. It's just a thing [their] mom does."
"I started taking pictures of my little kids for the same reasons every parent does. I just wanted to remember what they were like," Sara said. "I gave up taking posed pictures of my boys pretty quick for that same reason. I didn't always see who they really were in those staged photos (although I do very much value portraits and love to have those as well). I wanted interesting photos of them doing what they normally do, being themselves because that is what I really want to remember."
Seeing how quickly her kids change really motivates Sara to continue this beautiful photo series. "I'll look at photos from a year ago and not only will my kids look different but their toys, rooms, activities, and mannerisms will have changed. I'm constantly trying to catch who they are before they change again." A well documented and accurate portrayal of their childhood is what the mom constantly strives for. "I want them to have something of themselves to share with their kids and grandkids. But most importantly I want them to be able to see themselves how I see them through these photos. They are wild, creative, funny, kind, loving, generous, silly, and smart. I hope they can see all of that reflected through the way I photograph them."

Star wars, Dinosaurs and a Knight in no armor what else could be so fun???
I have three boys too, and I’m dying laughing. I have this exact same picture times three.
I can't help but thinking about those poor trusting toys looking up at their friend with big trusting eyes and wondering , "WTF is he about to do now"?
This is a perk of raising boys. When they need to go, they can go almost anywhere!
Wish I could do that. At least if you guys have to use it you stand, us women have to sit or hover over a nasty porta potty.
In my childhood this was called "Raeuberleiter" (robbers ladder) and a common thing, not special nor clever. But seeing done by todays Kids, it's cute.
My son's name is Cosmo ( after DiMedici)
Load More Replies...Nah, too small splash. One more time. And more speed now, so we are soaking wet.
I'm just sitting here imagining with dread those sandals slipping off....O-O
I did this all the time ! Our narrow hallways, if climb and call it the Spider-Man walk
Load More Replies...My parents have numerous photos of me and my brother doing this, grinning evil, toothy smiles.
Oh memories, my eldest now 31 used to scale the door jam all the time.
My niece does this all the time. She loves to "leave handprints on the ceiling"
Looks cute, but he's actually trying to put him in a headlock or some other wrestling move.
"please don't tell mom i didn't mean to hurt you please don't tell"
I hope this is dirt because my friend's kid did this with poop. she didnt know where to start with cleaning him, she was abit consoled that it was his own poop....I think i would dig a hole in the yard put him in and hose him from there to avoid poop getting everywhere.
Mine did this with poop. I thought he was taking a longer than usual afternoon nap. He also drew on his crib and the wall it was against. First thing, into the bath, into clean clothes and into play pen. Next cleaning and sanitizing his room. Horrible!!
this one would be my boys if the standing up brother was peeing on the one below him LOL
Cat: "LET ME DOWN, VILE HUMAN. FREE ME FROM THESE BONDS" Human: "Purr purr to you too cutie" Cat: "DAMNATION!!!!!!!!!"
I just did this last night at my mom and dad's house! Old habits are hard to break :) :)
Amount of fun is proportional to amount of mud on your apparel ... that is boy math
After just recently losing my middle son, I wish to God that I had pictures like these with all three of them together. My advice to all mothers, new and old, take pictures, lots of pictures.
Yet another wonderful enjoyment my husband and I carried over to adulthood. I bought him bubbles for his birthday last year. The kind for kids and the kind in a champagne bottle. The beauty of being old enough to appreciate both ;)
Better question is why do you care? Don't judge people so much.
Load More Replies...My personal favorite childhood spot to hide in hide-and-seek... my brothers couldn't fit but I could! Was great until the one time they forgot they hadn't found me yet, left me in a basement cabinet, and went to get popsicles...
trying to crush the elder sibling, my brother would do this to me all the time.
I can't tell you how many bruises I have from being the one under the basket
When my friends are over-achievers and just leave me feeling like
Hai everyone. My name is Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass!
You just know that in 10 years or so, the one of the bike will be pulling the other one with either a car or a boat. You can only hope it doesn't get too dangerous.
You might consider promoting this picture to the kayak company. If they were smart, they would use this in their advertising campaign. It is a great shot and sends a fantastic message. You have fabulous talent (and cute, cute kids too!) Good for you all the way around :) :)
Wait. Why is it ok to take a picture of a kod that poops and pees but not a grownup?
Save this. It'll be useful blackmail material when he gets girlfriends.
The absolute epitome of the 4th of July, hot summertime fun in any town! Nice!
This is the kid from previous picture, when I saw him i had same solution in my head 😁
These will all mostly be the same kids, it's the same photographer throughout. 😁

Every Christmas and birthday for 8 years my parents would get me a giant box, fill it with confetti and balloons and wrap it up for me. Best present ever
Once we learn the rules in the library, it becomes our favorite hour on Friday afternoon. 4 books each for the week!
Yeah... so Santa ran out of reindeers... and there was an abundance of elves... one thing led to another... Ho ho ho..?
Reindeer went on a strike. Santa didn't care and put the elves to work double-shifts pulling the sleigh.
These all have made my day. What an experience having three boys is. Feel like I’m told almost daily that I got the raw end of the stick but I beg to differ. I love it. And these pics capture all the reasons why.
Though I am hardly successful in catching fish.. I love going fishing when I am in my hometown.. Memories

Wrong, girls also like to pee standing when they are investigating how all this works! I did it when I was a kiddo.
