Thank you! It is a bacteria, not a virus. Vaccines don't stop bacteria, antibiotics do. Antibiotics don't stop viruses. Vaccinations build up natural immunity, preventing an increased spread because of the lack of hosts.

The disease behind the plague was *not* tuberculosis.

The plague is still in developed countries. Vaccines don't prevent the plague coz it's bacterial, not viral. It's treated with antibiotics. Plus this is about the black plague which was from rats. TB was nicknamed the white plague.

There is no vaccination for TB. There is a test, also treatment but the latter is complicated by resistance of TB bacteria.
