Well in Australia it is illegal to ask a breastfeeding mother to leave or move elsewhere etc. Doesn't matter if she is feeding in the middle of a shopping centre, a restaurant etc. From my observations, it seems that other women are the ones that complain about breastfeeding in public, a lot more than men do.

This one makes me so sad, especially because of how women and PoC are so much more routinely dismissed, leading to sometimes dire consequences.

I had a restaurant job in the 80s. I still dream of walking in and finding all my tables busy with unserved families. They all look at me and expect me to take care of them. I think I at least deserve some dream money.

God, I hate this. I've had this happen so many times. It's a bummer to wake up and realize sleep was wasted, and maybe the job is taking up too much space in my mind.

It's certainly not that simple and the US isn't evenly split. Also many "red states" are only red because those in power are messing with election laws so the political leaning of the masses might be different. There are also plenty of conservatives in "blue states"
