25 Of The Best Responses Doctors And Other Medical Professionals Had To Anti-Vaxxers
Nobody wants to face the public wrath of the internet but anti-vaxxers experience this daily as people continue to troll them, however, you know what's even worse than getting challenged by someone you don't know online - someone online with a medical degree. That's right according to data analysis from CNN measles cases in the United States have surpassed the highest number on record since the disease was declared eliminated nationwide in 2000.
Doctors are employing all strategies to fight the disease from using electronic medical records to identify unvaccinated patients living in outbreak zones to refusing to accept patients who haven't been vaccinated - and now they have taken the fight to Twitter. Sure some of these savage tweets are funny, but believe it or not, fighting misinformation on the internet is vitally important, even when it's done in a simple tweet. Scroll down below to read some anti-vaxxers get destroyed by doctors and don't forget to upvote your favs!

That's the kind of language that everyone should use to these incredible blockheads that refuse to have their offspring vaccinated.
Love it! I always found that people that are anti-vaxx and yet still take their kids to regular pediatricians are being hypocrites. You care enough about your child's health to have them see a doctor for every cough, sniffle and hiccup..but you won't do the one thing that can prevent those symptoms. And you will trust your doctors advice on every other thing but vaccinations. Like the rest of their degree is legit but they are somehow misinformed about preventable medicine....
There has been a measles outbreak in my area because of anti vaxers.
There have been measles outbreaks in many areas all around the world because of anti vaxers.
Load More Replies...Measles became a nationally notifiable disease in the United States in 1912, meaning that health care providers and laboratories were required to report diagnosed cases. During the first decade of reporting, an average of about 6,000 measles-related deaths were reported annually.
I love our pediatrician's shirt today.
I saw a an antivax group of protesters once and noticed not one of their children was above the age of four. Coincidence? 😂
In fact, with all the artificial ingredients, a regular lollipop likely contains more harmful sustenances than a vaccination shot.
You are more likely to die of diabetes from lollipops than from a vaccine.
In the 1950s, researchers found a way to isolate the measles virus in a patient's blood, and in the 1960s, they were successful in transforming the isolated virus into a vaccine. The vaccine was licensed and became part of the measles vaccination program, introduced in 1963.

True. I had to be re-vaccinated for measles after blood work done while I was pregnant that showed I wasn't immune even though I had been vaccinated.

My husband's coworker took the extra precaution of staying in a hotel when his daughter got the mumps. If I recall there was some confusion about whether he had been immunized so he decided it was better it be safe, he ended up dying and was only in his late 30's. I don't think many people realize these diseases can be fatal.
The anti-vaxxer mum probably also believes that homeopathic remedies will cure all. It's bloody homeopathetic all of it!
If organic, home cooked food was good enough, then explain why vaccines were necessary in the first place? After all the centuries, how could these horrific diseases even exist with such fantastic home cooked food?
The flu vaccine is the only one I side eye. Years ago I got a flu vaccine for the first time ever and 2 days later I got the flu. I presume it's because my body was never exposed to it before (which would make sense considering that's literally what a vaccine is), but it made me not ever want to get one again. Thank God, knock on wood, I haven't ever had the flu since.
You would have been incubating it before you got the vaccination. It was just bad timing. You cannot get the flu from a flu vaccine, as it does not contain a live virus, its literally impossible.

What in hell does "woke" mean? Is it some anti-grammatical vaccine? Vaccines should be adhered to. So many lives have been saved. Next step is grammar, but after educating the fluffy fairy folk on how to keep their kiddos alive.
Woke is basically being aware. If you’re “woke”, you know the truth, what’s going on. Or did I miss your joke? (Also, awesome name! Please spare me the reading of your poetry though. I don’t wish to perish.)

Load More Replies...Before the introduction of the measles vaccination program, according to the CDC, there was an estimated 3 to 4 million people getting infected with the disease yearly nationwide. Following this program the numbers of cases and deals from measles substantially dropped. In 1994 there were 963 reported cases, which fell to 508 cases in 1996.
This is actually a very good strategy. Just make sure that anti rub-patients also get a treatment with rotting swedish fish, also internally.
Should we warn before on just how bad it smells? I'm swedish, but yet I can't stand anywhere near it.

One can of Surströmming a day keeps the doctor away - and anyone else because that stench is terrible (but it tastes nice if served correctly).
Mmmmm ... Surströmming! With white crispy bread, and butter, and onions, and mashed almond potatoes, and a cool beer! And the nubbe chaser.
What a dumb question! That's like saying "I won't give my child food. What can I give them to keep them from starving? Umm, food!
If you're not familiar with this "delicacy" check YouTube for people trying it. They are not fake-vomiting, I can promise you that. My parents had a "surströmming"-party when I was a child. The adults ate (I'm not sure how much licour they drank beforehand) and us kids tried to find a way to get rid of the stench. We almost burnt down the house in the quest, and had we succeeded, I still think the stench would have lingered for a few weeks...
Using reason in discussions with unreasonable ignorant people is useless. For them it's not about facts and figures, it's about what THEY believe based on some shady nonsense articles they found on the internet.

Load More Replies...100% pro vaccine here, but these statistics are not conclusive either: measles deaths: 1 death in 1000 contractions or 1 death per 1000 population? If the latter: unlikely, due to high vaccination rate, if the first: doesn't compare to the vaccination figure because many more people get vaccined than contract measles.
And lotto is statistics for stupid people. Plus there is a lot if research into how ppl deal with large odds.
It simply needs to made a federal requirement. Right before the internet really took off, measles was declared eradicated. All of a sudden, all common sense went out the window and people put their faith in web sites. Because they don't just give anyone a web site, right? They must be qualified and print nothing but the truth.
That is avoiding one in a million while trivialising one thousand possible deaths in a million.
Jump forward to 2000, when the disease was declared eliminated in the U.S and there were only 86 reported cases. This meant there had been no continuous transmission of the disease for over 12 months. These numbers only continued to plummet until a resurgence in 2014 where the country experienced 23 separate outbreaks, which occurred primarily among the unvaccinated Amish community.

How about putting the poisonous element Sodium in our children, very deadly and should be outlawed. In fact Chlorine is outlawed as a chemical weapon (think Phosgene and Sarin Gas attacks) by the Geneva Convention. That deadly element should be NO WHERE NEAR our kids. However Sodium Chloride aka NaCl aka TABLE SALT, made from 2 deadly poisons is necessary for human survival. have a great day everyone.
Not to mention the very flammable and dangerous hydrogen and oxygen we allow our children to drink and breathe
Load More Replies...Many children are diagnosed as toddlers, because it's often found due to developmental delay. That's the same time kids are getting lots of vaccines, so the anti-vaxxers blame the shots..

Your children already have toxins in them when they are born....

Load More Replies...In 2018 the U.S saw 17 separate outbreaks and the numbers continue to climb. According to the CDC, the disease was largely imported and spread among unvaccinated pockets: "Eighty-two people brought measles to the U.S. from other countries in 2018. This is the greatest number of imported cases since measles was eliminated from the U.S. in 2000."
Their "evidence" is: I saw someone called Karen, who is definitely not a doctor or a medical researcher, write a Facebook post about it, so that's my evidence
My ex-husband believes that vaccines are bad for vegetarians and vegans. So, after our twins had all their vaccines, I put our younger children's vaccines on halt til they were a bit older. He was determined for them to not be vaxx'd, especially because of the "autism" connection. Laughs on him - I'm ASD, and three out of our four girls are also. Nothing to do with vaccines, as #3 kid was dx'd before she had any immunizations. And they're amazeballs kids.
Wait, so he thinks that vaccines are OK for people on a standard human omnivore diet? Vaccines only cause problems for vegans and vegetarians? That's... an interesting theory!
Load More Replies...I like the one guy that said he had a doctor that said vaccines are unsafe and you shouldn't vaccinate your kids for fear of autism. He posted the link to the Doctor. You mean gamers aren't military experts?!?! Lol. I love the "I was going to, so I'm an expert" arguement. "I was going to be become a doctor, so I know what I'm talking about." "I thought about joining the military, so I know all about it."

Healing crystals actually work! If they’re big enough you can bash people with them and cure them of all illness! Sure, they won’t move much, and there may be some blood from the skull, but it’s something.

How does the Mother in 2019 know that her "magic healing crystals in matching bags" isn't just disguised Meth? There's alway that possibility, especially if she got it from some random stranger on the internet.

their thinking is already flawed, so to me, it doesn't seem like that big a stretch.

Nothing wrong with being autistic either. I'm perfectly happy being me, as are my kids.
Load More Replies...Ahhh, those experts....... not to be trusted. Let's call great aunt josie who uses incense and pig fat to ward off disease. Ooops. She died of polio.
My twins have Asperger's and I have never thought vaccines caused their autism but even if I did I would have them inoculated anyway because 2 kids with autism is better than 2 dead kids. They are two amazing young men who are funny (especially once we taught them the concept of sarcasm which was tough for them to grasp), whip smart and polite. Most people would just assume they were shy and never know the difference. No one knows what causes autism and I think it's a gigantic leap to point to vaccines and say that's the cause. Maybe it was the stressful pregnancy, or the high fever I had, or maybe it's related to Uncle M. who was too old to ever be thought of as autistic but looking back, probably was. But it's just make the wild assertion that it's due to vaccines with 0 proof.
As a person on the spectrum I can assure you that vaccines don’t cause autism. It’s a hereditary trait.
My sister is absolutely certain I have some level of autism. I received a vaccination recently. I guess I may get autism^2? Halp? (Trust me, this is a joke!!)
My sister has autism and You cannot get it after you are born. You are BORN WITH IT, because it is a brain deficiency. So when you see people with a kid with autism and they are vaccinated, It is not caused by the vaccination.
Could they really sue for this? If not, I really think they should be able to!

I read a personal story by a doctor about their experience with an anti-Vaxxer. They explained everything behind vaccines to try and convince the anti-v — including the risks of spreading disease to kids with cancer and such — and they (the anti) said “I don’t care about a kid with cancer. That’s not my problem if they get sick.” Some believe they’re doing the best for their children, but others don’t mind hurting others. It’s absolutely wild.

At least once my kids were born my mom would step outside to smoke. Both parents ended up dying from smoking related illnesses. Why anyone picks up a cigarette in 2019 with the wealth of information out there on the subject is beyond me. It's not cool, it's gross and it's pretty much guaranteed to kill you. It also does nothing for your looks.
I have family members who smoke, vape, and do weed. I cannot begin to tell you how much second hand smoke I breathed in when I was living in Texas because they would sometimes blow their smoke right in my face. Getting out of the smoke's way sometimes didn't help.

Anti-vaxxer has such a negative ring to it. I suggest to change it to pro-diseaser.
BTW, the Tetanus vaccine has to be renewed every ten years. So even if a kid doesn't get it while under parental custody, they can always make up for it later.
I'm a vegan and pro vaccine! The vegan society state that vegans shouldn't not take vaccines/ medications if they are needed as a dead vegan is no good to anyone! I'm on 19 medications daily and whilst I hate that they are tested on animals/ may contain animal ingredients, I would be dead without them- no good to anyone. It takes some real balls to say "NO" to the mumps vaccine. Big, inflamed, painful orchitis riddled balls.
On a side note, thé fucktards who get the mumps and can't reproduce are exactly the ones who shouldn't, lol! Too bad it doesn't work that way as it's usually the innocents who aren't able to be vaccinated (too young or sick) that are the ones who are at risk from the anti vaxxers.
Rubella also causes devastating health issues for those who contract it under two. I know firsthand.
Orchitis-Gentials. I know this because someone wanted to call their child Orchid and I spent 30 minutes crying in pain from laughing so much after looking it up before I could tell her

My partner and I have 33 years between us. We had our son vax'd not after birth, but when he turned one. He and I had been through a traumatic c-section, and we thought we'd wait. My partner has experienced knowing first hand, friends who grew up with with polio, and the horrible outcome for them. My uncle dies at 2 & 1/2 from tetanus. I have a daughter who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, BEFORE she had any vaccinations. I also have another dx'd ASD who was vaccinated early. I suppose having an ASD mother (me) was the actual contribution. My younger two children have no issues, except one is a brilliant animator, and the other loves to sing, dance, and sweet talk the girls (he's 6). Vaccinations have only help guard them. No causation of anything harmful. I still don't "get" parents who continue to find the most absurd un-founded internet waffle and believe it to be better than keeping their progeny alive to fulfill their own dreams and lives.
Game over, they lose, per Godwin's Law: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law
It's my firm belief that vaccines should be required by law (unless you have a medical condition preventing it) and parents should face prosecution if they do not vaccinate their children
