Old barn doors are very much in style these days. But this is definitely NOT a good placement for it.

never mind the handle , what about the self closure device at the top of the glass door...sheesh

think the firedoor was the original door? and someone made it "nicer" with an ugly glass door?

Door closer and handle seem to say it was redundant the moment it was fitted.....

I was in a house in the early 1970s that had a "hidden room" the guy called it, behind, yes, you read it correctly, an electric garage door.
