A little over a year ago I started drawing comics to help with my depression. Some dark humor poking fun at my own struggles to remind myself to smile, or just stupid jokes that make me laugh. I never really expected them to resonate with other people, but since I've started the support has been a great reminder that I'm not alone in my problems. My sense of humor has always been my first line of defense, and maybe it can help some other people too.
So here's James of No Trades, making my way through life one bad joke at a time. Hopefully I can bring a smile to you as well!

I feel like my fire alarms do this sometimes to mess with me. Maybe they are actually sentient..?
I had to make an important call today and it literally took me the whole weekend to prepare for it :P I'm really happy I'm not the only one with intense anxiety about the phone
So true brother, so true! We keep running like crazy after money, success and gratification from others. Running like hell to tomorrow and not enjoying today as much as we should to. Hang in there bro and I hope what you do helps you as, I'm pretty sure, it helps others. Having a good sense of humor against bad things of any sort is always good. Much love and hugs

I think they are great and also help us to understand the mind of someone with depression. Keep up the great work and do NOT give up on yourself. You have already proven that you have a wonderful gift to share with the world.
