When I look in the mirror I know what I see isn't what other people see when they look at me (not to anywhere near this extent) so it makes me wonder if this is how they see themselves or if it's just a ploy for attention. Even negative attention is attention.

I guess they don’t understand that such extreme edits are biologically impossible. They know that thin waists (big thighs, etc) are sought after but don’t know the actual realistic limits. So they simply edit thinking if thin is what’s attractive, then I’ll go as thin as possible as more the better.

I mean… are organs REALLY necessary, or is that just something we assume? She doesn’t seem to need them. Not a single one. Complete lack of all organs, apart from skin. You can’t tell me there’s a brain in there. Not if she posted that picture on purpose.

I have yet to work this one out. How can people looking at that think it's real? They can't, surely?

It's called Body Dysmorphia, bro. When you are bombarding yourself with image conscious concerns day-in and day-out and suffer a mental illness because of that, and can often develop conditions such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia etc. then one can look at themselves and see a vastly different reality of shape than everyone else sees. She likely saw a thin, yes, but still proportionate young girl when she posted that.
