The ‘Sad Cringe’ subreddit documents these exact moments. Moments that stay with you longer than your average meme because they’re all happy-go-lucky. They show the vulnerable (yet still at times funny) moments that we’ve all found ourselves in, one way or another.

Since our last article about the ‘Sad Cringe’ subreddit, their community had continued to grow by leaps and bounds. So while they had 882k members in late August 2020, now, in early July 2021, they’re boasting a whopping million redditors who have joined their community. Odds are, this trend will continue.
The online group, founded in 2013, also celebrated its 8th year of operating on Reddit in mid-spring.

According to the subreddit’s mods, r/sadcringe is “a place for awkward or embarrassing situations that also make you feel sad.” They also note that the ‘sad’ part is all about how we feel when we see a particular post, not about “calling someone out” for being sad. In other words, the focus is on how you feel, dear Pandas.
Previously, moderator Niceboihappy shared with Bored Panda that the number of followers the subreddit had rose since the start of the Covid pandemic. However, the moderator also noted that the community was growing in size and how close-knit it was either way.

People have a hard time understanding that a gift should not come with obligations. I do t have an obligation to keep what people give me, if I don't like it, or if I don't have the space for it. I can appreciate the gesture even if I don't like, want, or need the gift.

Always hated partner or group work - My usual methode was to say that I do the project all on my own if nobody has something against that.
My teacher had to bribe a kid with merits to get him to be in my group.
In third grade we did secret Santa. Nobody knew who their Santa was except me, because when the kid drew my name he yelled "AW NOT SALLY!!"
I was once attempted murdered by a kid with a pencil for asking him to do a part of the project...
I was in a friend group of four in university when we were given a group project for three. I was the one dropped, and because of class numbers, I was left without a group. One of the group was my closest friend, who apologised but said she couldn't help it. The laugh was on her when later she said she envied me because they were struggling to get anything done. No group consensus and some not pulling their weight.
I'm surprised they didn't split it into two groups of two, rather than three and one. That seems more balanced.

Partner and/or group work--everybody hates it. I think this is one area where teachers need to be wise and much more sensitive to the process.
This is actually acceptable if you’re one of those people who lets their partners do all the work. (Not saying that’s the case here.)
I used to hate it too, whoever I was assigned with, I hate working in pairs/groups.
In middle school my daughter was partnered with the younger sister of a teenaged actress. She ended up doing it all herself because her partner said she wasn't allowed to give out their phone number. Sheesh.

Now that is a jerk! When I was in school found that sometimes assigned partners worked out very well. Give it a try -- you might be pleasantly surprised. Yes, I always look for the good.

This is standard behavior for musicians. They can't open it without risking being sued at some point in the future if any element of a song they write is similar to something on one of these cds that people send them. So they have to return them unopened, and document that they did so.

In junior high, our class was getting paired up as the teacher called out names. The most ''popular" boy in my grade's name got called out and got my name attached to it. Soon as it got paired up, the WHOLE CLASS (including my so called bff and her group of friends) went "OHHHHH NOOOO!!!" Made me feel sooo bad!
Some of these, I highly question whether the person posting was bullied or if they were themselves, THE bully.
