I’ve got a contact at work who got the same virology degree I did - he states often that viruses don’t exist because nobody has ever actually seen one. So he went through 3 years of microbiology, biochemistry, virology studies while believing that this was all fiction. Just….what? (Yeah he’s also antivaxx so I don’t talk to him much. I have no time for those people)

There are even people pretending to be physically disabled and buying crutches etc (I'm selling an old wheelchair and this man wanted it to pretend he was disabled to skip the queue at a theme park as he asked if he could sell it back to me after, I told him I would report his name to the theme park and blocked him!) to skip queues and get into places for free and even skip security in airports. Y is considered a vowel only in multiple other languages though and it's generally a vowel even though it can sound like a consonant in English and some others, but then again, multiple other languages Y never sounds like w or j, it has it's own vowel sound but no consonant sound _at all_ in some languages. I speak mainly languages where Y is nothing but a vowel so it's not universal, only exception is English in the ones I know.

No. There were plenty of people—-of all races—-in the 1950s who did care, and would intervene, though they risked also being beaten up for it. By the 1960s, they were traveling south to help African Americans safely register to vote. Some even gave their lives to help. Though the lions share of any gains made from the Civil Rights Movement belong solely to the courage of African Americans themselves, there were plenty of people of all races who stepped up as well. Civil Rights is a human issue, though we have to address it one group at a time. As long as black lives are viewed as mattering less than others, we have no right to say all lives matter. Because all lives means ALL lives, not just a chosen few.

Ok, I barely understood any of these posts, the responses within the posts nor the comments. Is this really how people communicate? No wonder no one seems to understand anyone else.

Most of them I got, but yes there were a few where I think you have to spend way more time online than I do to be able to understand it.
