No you don't seem to have got it. What they are showing is that the colours of post it notes have seemed to have been used by the manufacturer of the dashboard. They are not infact using the top image/post it notes instead

Not a german license plate. We have 727prefixes for town or county and cannot change that prefix, besides that, the stripe left should be blue with a circle of stars and D for Germany.

True until you get up close or better inside, frankly its ingenious robbers won't come at you. Like you can keep some really nice stuff inside, you wouldn't know from the look. Great trick if you live in the boonies looks like you're poor but purrs like a kitten
