People Shame 31 Jerks Who Are Making The Coronavirus Crisis More Difficult For All Of Us (New Pics)
Bulk-buying hand sanitizer or hoarding rice may not look like a big deal for some. But it adds to the shortage of supplies depriving those really in need and making the matters worse. Plus, it’s been proven to earn one a badge of dishonor: the title "corona jerk."
Now that the real threat of the virus is well under way, corona jerks are getting more desperate in making plain bad decisions. From licking a toilet seat for the "coronavirus challenge" to smearing saliva on the handrails in the train, every corona criminal will face a trial by the internet police.
So let’s go through some teeth-clenching cases together, but beware of contraindications—some of that dumb behavior will make your blood boil. After you’re done, there’s another batch of corona jerks from Bored Panda’s previous compilation here.

Stop Making A Hard Situation Worse
Today I went shopping to pick up some food and toilet paper because we are actually running out and need some. I am in my 30s, have the internet and options to adapt in this situation...
I saw this fb post and it broke my heart. Hoarding is not the solution and we need to be mindful of others. We are all in this together!
That is so very heartbreaking and sad, just think there are thousands and thousands of people in a similar situation. Please people STOP and think of others as well.
This is heartbreaking, I feel like I could cry. He and his wife and old and she is on oxygen, he can barely get around and here there a people hoarding like literal pigs. The hoarding makes me feel sick.
I have told my elderly neighbors if they were scared to go out to let me know and to spread the word that there is someone willing to help. We cannot be so selfish that we cannot help out those who need it!
2 Quick suggestions to any tp hoarder out there - 1) go return anything past a 1 or 2 month supply,. 2) after making your returns drive off a cliff.
Or donate the extra stuff to a homeless shelter.
Load More Replies...My husband bought extra water for us to give to our elderly neighbors (they didn’t ask him to, he just did it) who may not be able to get to the store—-or successfully fight the crowds if they can. If he happens to run across extra toilet paper, he’ll do the same (his work puts him on the road early in the morning—-think 2:30 - 3:00 am—-so he can go into a lot of stores before everyone else is even awake). We already have a freezer that we’ve been keeping stocked with food for a couple years now—-long before this mess—-so can feed our neighbors and ourselves for a while, if need be. We’re ready to share it all with neighbors who may end up having trouble supplying themselves.
I thank the kindness of those souls who just GET IT. Be real for humane sakes People. Please. We are but one on this planet. Regardless of our age, our stake or claim on this world. We all get to be here. To survive this Pandemic war upon our own regard. Please hear those in need for One day it just might be you asking for help. Karma lives here too!!!
So sad i help any one who needs it iam a true share 🐻 bear share ehat i got
Watched a guy at the grocery store (2 weeks ago now) put every family pack of cut up chicken (about 18) into his cart. And I was seriously like, "Dude, um other people might want chicken too." He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Never been so tempted to punch someone in the store before.
That was very thoughtul thingn you did. Bless you for reaching out to help someone like that.
Congratulations, You Karen'd Yourself
Bless her heart - it's easy to be paranoid these days. We all make snap judgments that we later regret.
This Isn't Right
Today I went grocery shopping, and saw this elderly man, probably at least 84 years old, with an empty trolley staring at empty shelves of bread. My heart broke. I had gotten the last two hot dog bun packs and gave him one out of my trolley, I said “At least it’s still bread” and he laughed and thanked me (I felt that was the least I could have done for him) If you see an old person, please stop and ask if they need anything. Stop and give them something from your trolley that is no longer on the shelves that you could easily come back and get tomorrow. Who knows where they came from or how long it took them to get to the shops, only to get there and find empty shelves. In a time of complete and utter maddens and chaos, please don’t forget to look out for each other and look out for those who need it most. Check up on your elderly neighbour or friend or elderly stranger on the street. Don’t be consumed by greed. Love thy neighbour.
Younger people should really be looking at making their own bread at home. It's easy! And honestly, kinda fun (and cheap)! Elderly may have arthritis in their hands and have more difficulty baking.
Not disagreeing with you but just wanted to say that not all arthritis sufferers are old. Children - any age - can have various types of auto immune conditions that cause arthritis.
Load More Replies...Our authorities in I'd say every municipality struck by the virus, even where I live (it's a very small one) have activated a service for the elderly or those in need (say, quarantined) who can't go out of the house or would better not: free home delivery of food and medicines. You call a number and they'll collect what you need and bring it to you. This is done in huge Milan and in my small place (say a total 10.000 people living in my district). I'm used to complain about many aspects of my country, but I have to say I am really proud about the way Italy is managing the situation.
I am waking up at 6am so I can get to the shops at 6:45am for the store to open at 7:00. They have what’s called “community hour” for people who are seniors, concession card holders, disability card holder, health care card holder etc. I am eligible because I am a carer with a health care card so I am hoping to get the stuff I couldn’t get on Monday coz people have gone stupid and left the shelves empty.
I have a health care card, and my dad has a senior card. We just get essentials, but even then it is a hunt that leaves both of us exhausted.
Load More Replies...This makes me actually cry. I feel horrible for the seniors trying to deal with this.
Opposite happens to me! shelves are full but no membership to get in supermarket
Panic buying amid the coronavirus outbreak has been spotted in numerous places around the globe.
Paul Marsden, a consumer psychologist at the University of the Arts London, believes that such behavior is linked to our currently unstable emotional state. “It’s about ‘taking back control’ in a world where you feel out of control, and it plays to our fundamental psychology needs.” Plus, if everyone around is stockpiling, you get the signal that it’s the right thing to do.
Dmitrios Tsivrikos, a lecturer in business psychology at University College London, believes that the toilet paper has become an icon of mass panic. The fact that COVID-19 is such a novel virus we know so little about adds to the fear and fuels irrational behavior.
Coronavirus Panic-Buying Reaches A New Low: Blind Shopper Says Customers Steal Toilet Paper From Her Trolley As She Walks Around Supermarkets With Her Guide Dog
I had to help an elderly woman in Meijer yesterday that had her toilet paper stolen out of her buggy. I went over to the guy that took it and took it out of his cart and stared him dead in the eyes the entire time. Then I walked back to her and escorted her to the front to pay. It was awful. Would he want someone doing that to his grandmother?
Good for you! You are the type of person, that we need more of in this world.
Load More Replies...Why not assign one hour in which only elderly and disabled people are allowed to shop in supermarkets.
There's a special place in Hell for people like this! And there won't be any toilet paper!!!
Words cannot express how much desdain I feel for the thief. May their oreo filling turn to toothpaste!
To Prevent The Coronavirus
South Korean church sprayed salt water inside followers' mouths, believing it would prevent coronavirus. 46 people got infected because they used the same nozzle
Or thoughts and prayers will stop school shootings.
Load More Replies...My aunt and uncle's church is still having people drink wine off of the same spoon because the wine is holy and therefore it can't get anyone sick. Logic.
But what about the saliva that sticks to the spoon? Even if the wine was holy and clean, there's still be saliva!
Load More Replies...I worry about this sort of thing when I see new reporters sticking the same mic in various interviewee's faces...hopefully they sanitize after each person but you have to count on the diligence of the individual for that... 🤞🏻
Footage Of Man Smearing Saliva On Brussels Metro. Police Intervened And The Whole Train Was Disinfected
Since a drunk person will actually do what a sober person thinks of doing (in other words, alcohol lowers inhibitions), he’s still an a*****e, through and through.
Load More Replies...Charge him with endangering the public (and for being drunk in public). I'm sure he's an a@@hole even when he's sober. "In vino veritas"
Jesus Christ
Yes, let's vilify this person based on absolutely no information. Grab your pitchforks! This guy might be delivering to a retirement home, but let's not let that possibility stand in the way of judging this person an a*s!
Load More Replies...Think positive, maybe he was delivering it to people who are shut in.
He could be delivering it someplace. We need to make less generalizations. I can imagine our development's grounds keeper on this sort of trip. There are toilets in all the buildings used by people who live here. Many, many toilets. He was telling me to put hand sanitizer in the entry of all the buildings and other logical places he needed a truck load of sanitizer. Most people who live here are 60+, this responsible behavior, not hoarding.
You're absolutely right Uncommon Boston. But the image is kinda irresistible.
Load More Replies...We don't know the whole story, maybe he was buying it for elderly neighbors or family members. Maybe he wanted to donate it all. But if he actually was hoarding it, he's an a*****e
One bad turn of a corner, and half of it is immediately lost—-and hopefully all grabbed up before a*****e can go back and get it.
Group facilities and retirement homes are still a thing and still need their tp delivered as usual. Don't be so quick to judge.

Yeah, and tell them that Jesus will heal them! :D
Load More Replies...As a strong Christian, I assure you that there is no promise of guaranteed healing in the Bible. God's sovereignty will prevail, but there have been no documented cases of anyone being cured of ALS, Type 1 diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsey and whole hos of other conditions. Pray, Love, help one another but avoid these charlatans!
You know, on the one hand I kinda would like to see all the cultish conservatives thinking this is no big deal, or even some hoax, would get really sick from their foolishness. However, they would just end up getting the rest of us sick and clogging up the hospitals. Still be nice to have fewer dumb f***s around
Practical. Once they are all there, just close the doors and, voila, instant quarantine station.
How is he going to pay his Mercedes down if people are not going to church? Need everyone to attend no matter the condition, every $100.00 helps.
Coronavirus In The Us: During Panic Buying, A Man Was Stabbed With A Wine Bottle Over A Pack Of Water At A Sam's Club In Hiram
Not all US households have clean tap water. But there are idiots who think that the government is going to shut down all household water use so they stockpile water.
Load More Replies...Ever heard of a tap? If tap water isn’t suitable then get a filter jug, they’re very inexpensive.
I swear as technology improves people like them get dumber, I mean come on! So many ways to get water!
They were actually fighting because an obese woman on an electric scooter rammed the scooter into one man's cart, which had his kid sitting in it. He told her to watch where she's going, she got all offended and started screeching at him, her husband got involved then they started throwing bottles of wine at each other. When they broke, they picked up shards of glass & started slicing each other. With the kid right there screaming. They all got arrested.
"in the US"? This is not happening anywhere else? I don't believe that.
Brits Hit The Pubs And Clubs As They Defy Boris Johnson's 'Social Distancing' Warnings To Party Through The Night Despite Coronavirus Fears

Ah, Wetherspoons, the destination of the inbred retards. Give them a lock in until they all get the virus.

Yall wanna take all the toilet paper... Well 2 can play this game.. lol
Two wrongs don’t make a right. Not everyone has bulk shopped yet they still need sanitary pads. You are effecting them too.
Affecting, not effecting, Foxxy. Effecting=to bring about
Load More Replies...Ok, toilet paper I can understand. We use the toilet every day and some of us have big families. But pads and tampons!? You only get your period once a month. Let's just hope this is not a man....
There are some women who use them as pee pads instead of paying an arm and a leg for Poise pads.
Load More Replies...Not everyone who bulk buys toilet paper is a woman. This is just douchebaggy.
Good luck with your toilet paper when you 're feeling hungry and all you have to eat is toilet paper. Perhaps you can mix it with the sanitizer, though.
It only come once a month, this is probably enough for a couple of years.
Funny revenge, but also not what you should do. Next time, just take like 3 packs of the strongest ones. It should last you a long time.
Tik Tok Influencer Tries To Start 'Coronavirus Challenge' By Licking Toilet Seat
i wouldnt lick a toilet seat even if there was no coronavirus. dumb lady she will catch something and it wont be funny
Hey..don't stop her. Maybe this is our chance for Natural Selection to take out the really stupid people amongst the population.
The tidepod, Kiki,& almost getting electrocuted challenges didn't work. Not too sure this one would either lol.
Load More Replies...You can't get herpes from a toilet seat. Besides, she probably already has HSV1 (cold cores) the vast majority of the population does.

And this, THIS is why you need compulsory vaccination: because people couldn't care less when you "advise" them to do something. And they affect everybody else, when it's related to public health.

Know several sun lovers and can assure you they aged terribly.

That looks to be the supply room of a public building. It's very doubtful that is one person's hoard.
Load More Replies...You're not running out anyway b***h, the coronavirus can't make you shittier than you already are.
I know I may sound stupid but why are we thinking we might need more TP?
In the UK there was a small news article that said China were making face masks instead of TP and that there could possibly be a shortage. Then someone else wrote, I think the next day, that only 2% of our TP came from China and there was no need to worry. Sadly, the damage had been done and some people had panicked... and set off everyone else who had no idea why people were stockpiling but feared that others knew something they didn't. Oh, and no, you don't sound stupid at all. 🙂
Load More Replies...my friend told me he saw a sign that said "if you have Coronavirus, you'll have a runny nose, not a runny a*s. Buy tissues instead of toilet paper."
I Think He Got Enough
He might be restocking a shop for all you know. My local store owner got screamed at for having a van full of toilet rolls the other day, turns out he’d just been to the cash and carry to restock his own store shelves. Of course the owner of this van might be a hoarding a-hole but let’s be careful of condemning everyone with a van full of tissues just in case they have good intentions.
I said the same thing about the picture of the woman with her cart filled with milk gallons. What if she owned a day care and that was the week supply for them?
Load More Replies...Now...someone started screaming at woman in Meijer because she had 6 gallons of milk. the woman with the milk was about in tears because she was being harassed so badly. Finally she has enough and turns to the people filming her and tells them that the milk is going to one of the only day cares still open on this side of town. They got a special license to stay open so that doctors and nurse could still go to work.
I hope the people who were so quick to judge her were as quick to apologise and make her feel better...what, all melted off into the distance and you could have heard a pin drop...there's a surprise!!
Load More Replies...Do you know what I find sad about this post? It's not because of the dude hoarding the toilet paper. It's this person assuming he's hoarding it. Call me a jerk, insensitive, or even bad words. The way I think about this is, "What if he has a lot of elders in his family that can't go out regardless?" or, "What if he's delivering to people who need it the most?" So, insult me all you want, but just because somebody hoards does NOT always mean that it is all for themselves. Thank you for listening.
Come on! My family is a family of 5, we use about 1 roll per 2 weeks. How come people are taking these entire things. It looks like the toilet paper came straight from the manufacturer, and then the people just snatched it up.
One actual roll - roll not pack - lasts 2 weeks for 5 people?
Load More Replies...Buses of Chinese from our cities in Australia are going to small country stores and emptying them . This is wrong on so many levels.
I Dont Know Why Corona Virus Means Take All The Toilet Paper. Its Not Even In My County Or Any Surrounding Me. I Had To Buy Paper Towels And Cut Them In Half Like A Peasant
Don't flush those through the toilet!! Paper towels do not disintegrate like toilet paper and will clog your pipes in no time.
Many countries don’t flush their toilet paper. They just throw it in a waste basket.
Load More Replies...I bought one years ago and we love it. We still use TP, but much much less than we used to. One Costco pack lasts us about 6 months.
Load More Replies...The real reason is, every time one person sneezes, ten people poop their pants.
The worse part of this TP run is, that COVID-19 doesn't give you diarrhea!!!
Had no choice but to do the same thing during Hurricane Katrina. Problem: there wasn't any water to flush the toilet with. Imagine the smell when I returned from 2 weeks evacuation.
Toilet Paper Roll Selling For $100 On Craigslist As People Capitalize On Covid-19 Fears
I truly hope no one actually buys these from those tossers who are taking advantage of people. I am truly disgusted by what is happening.
Amazon and Ebay have really cracked down on this price gouging, unfortunately they can't catch them all. Just too many... but what boggles the mind is that people are actually BUYING the stuff!
Load More Replies...2 things - 1) if you buy from these a-holes it just encourages then and others to keep doing it. 2) this is illegal (in the US). If you see it call the cops.
Side note - Amazon and EBAY are both refusing to sell for these price gougers already
Load More Replies...Turn them in. The government has started prosecuting them for price gouging.
the locations in these posts indicate that they are from my neck of the woods - Vancouver, BC. Couldn't be less proud.
Don't you hate it when the others let the side down.
Load More Replies...But there’s really no reason to think you have to pay these prices. The manufacturers are not closing down their plants. They’re just facing a logistics problem transporting extra product to individual stores. So, there will be more toilet paper, water, soap, meat, etc on the shelves in a matter of days. Railroads and trucking companies will have plenty of work for engineers and drivers—-they can get all the OT hours they want.
Found In A Medicine Hat Buy/Sell Group On Fb. Let’s All Do Our Part And Report These Assholes When We See Them
If it’s the end of the world it’s the end of human kind so the toilet paper is the least of your worries.
But it’s NOT the end of the world. They haven’t stopped producing toilet paper and other supplies. They will work out the logistics of getting extra supplies to individual stores, and there will be more available—-and the normal price—-in a matter of days.
I Want To Punch Him (Today At Walmart)
Nope, just take a packet out with a polite tho somewhat absent minded, "oh thanks so much" as if he's a restocker. 95% chance he's confused, mumbles "you're welcome"; in the US the other 5% he shoots you dead. Your mileage may vary...
Then drop it in the cart of the first elderly, or disabled, person you see. Let him try to get it back from them, right in front of everybody else in the store.
Load More Replies...My local grocery was surprised when I came to checkout without a single paper product or cleaning product. I looked at him and said "I'm just here for the fried chicken.." LOL
Should have done it. Sadly it just would have given another idiot the opportunity to walk away with the cart.
They should do what Denmark did with hand sanitizers. 1 for 40 and 2 for 1000.
The STORES should be stopping this! As long as they let people do this, they will.
This Woman, Hoarding All The Wet-Wipes At The Local Costco
Let's not all jump on the condemnation train. 1. When was this picture taken? 2. Is she a store owner? 3. Is she buying for a school district/clinic/senior housing/or anywhere they need to disinfect? These are just a few thoughts off the top of my head. Yes, she might be a c u next Tuesday. But the fact of the matter is, we don't know.
People are buying these in place of hand sanitizing wipes. Problem is..washing your hands is more effective than using sanitizers.
OKAY I WILL EXPLAIN. Step 1. Look at her. Who would get that many wipes? Step 2. Look at that thing on wheels...wait, customers don't have those! GET IT YET? Finally step 3. Stop being a dumbhead cause she's obviously going to stock the shelves because she is an EMPLOYEE YOU STUPIDHEAD!
BTW if she's not an Employee she's getting some thing for a giant group of people like at a school. I wouldn't buy only one box of those for school.
Load More Replies...she could very well be a worker at a school or daycare before they all closed.
It’s Jerks Like This That Makes Matters Worse
$110 for the whole lot. Sold! LOL. Then I'll go give them out to the elderly. Jacka$$.
I was gonna say, only $110 for that much! I would just buy it and give it back out
Load More Replies...Well, $110 for every box, pack, and roll of TP in the picture sounds like a real deal. I mean they didn’t specify how much $110 would buy, so their case wouldn’t hold up in court (read about the case of the stereo shop selling sound systems for like 100 “bananas”—-meaning dollars but not specifying so—-and the guy who brought 100 literal bananas to buy one. The store lost the case and had to sell the sound system to him for his 100 yellow bananas).
I just don't understand how the law makes this possible. I'm pretty sure this conduct would be against the law in my country, and you'd be able to press more than one charge??
This Person Bought Out Pretty Much The Rest Of Our Stock Of Toilet Paper And Paper Towels Yesterday
Well, why did you let them? In many places stores enforce a 2-3 items per person policy.
Exactly. All the stores in my area have implemented purchasing limits.
Load More Replies...Well our shelves are starting to slowly show signs of life again, although the TP is behind the cashiers counter because of hoarders thank God, now all those idiots are gonna be stuck with TP for their children and grandchildren😂😂😂
Nope. I'd walk right up and take 2 out of the cart. She doesn't own it as she hasn't paid for it. Stores need to stop allowing this.
While I realize that there are a lot of people trying turn turn a bad situation into profit; I also still like to think the best of people. Maybe this person works at a nursing home, and is simply getting these items for those who either can't have visitors, or can't get out. All that I'm trying to say is this: Let Go, And Let God. The almighty is still in control, and we will all be held accountable by Him.
people working at daycares or schools were already shopping like this before the corona
At our Costco, security guards are posted around the TP and only allowing 2 or 3 packs per person... It's come to this!!!
Please folk get their faces in the photo post and shame but be careful they could have some reason for it
Coronavirus Panic
I actually wonder if this is because of the Coronavirus. When I worked at a supermarket we had a couple of people coming in a few times a week getting a s**t load of milk. One of them owned a cafe and the other owned a Wendy’s franchise and they bought their milk from the supermarket coz it worked out cheaper for them than ordering it from elsewhere. My point is this person could be buying them for their business and not actually being a selfish person.
True...I've actually seen Starbucks stores that ran out of milk and had to send an employee to pick up more from the local store. It happens. I was working fast food when I was younger and we ran out of napkins. The store manager called every franchise store within a 10 mile radius..no one had extra so he ran to the local store and bought generic ones.
Load More Replies...You know...they could be buying it to hand out to elderly or disabled neighbors/family members, or donate it. This doesn't mean they are a jerk...
Jokes on him, the milk will have gone bad by the time he finishes them.
why in the world do you need so much milk!! u don't need that much toilet paper either
he might have a big family. my family gets 8-9 gallons because we have a large family (to be fair, we go 2-3 times a month max)
people working at daycares or schools were already shopping like this before the corona
how are you going to drink that much milk before it goes bad
Milk is local, the cows don't know or care about the virus, I'm gonna laugh when this is all over and his milk spoils in a few weeks. LOL
Just Saw This Looking Through Craigslist
Jan Is An Assh*le, Don’t Be Like Jan
Turn her in! Washington State declared a state of emergency. Price gouging is not allowed by retailers or private citizens. She can be arrested and fined or jailed.
It looks like she says she is just trying to recover from what she bought. I hope that’s the truth
Tough luck, honey!!! You're stuck with it...I have made my own for a fraction of the cost...
Stupid. Soap and water is vastly superior to hand sanitizer, so Jan will only end up with a shitload of hand sanitizer in her garage that she can’t even give away.
Soap & water do a better job of removing germs than hand sanitizer.
Clearwater Beach Packed Amid 'Social Distancing' For Coronavirus
I look at it this way..the people that are ignoring it are all the ones that will be fighting for their lives while medical personnel shake their heads because not enough ventilators are available for this kind of pandemic. Maybe this is the wake up call to get the ignorant and privileged to start realizing they can't do whatever the heck they want. And any of them that were on this beach that later cause an outbreak resulting in deaths should be charged with assault and manslaughter for ignoring officials.
Unfortunately, they will also be the reason others get it.
Load More Replies...Look at it this way...everybody thought one extra person to add to the small crowd of people was fine, so the crowd kept getting bigger. Even when the crowd was really big, everybody stayed because they loved the beach so much. The place got crowded kinda accidentally, It's not like everybody was shouting: NO MORE SOCIAL DISTANCING! YAY, COVID-19 TIME!
If they wanted to go there so badly then just quarantine them there and don’t give em any tests
'Ain't That Serious': Miami Spring Breakers Party On
I honestly don't care what happens to the people who ignore warnings, but it's the fact that they become carriers and infect innocent people is the thing that sucks so bad. This group is also in the age range where they will most likely be fine. :/
Pretty sure the combined IQ of everyone in this photo is well under 100.
The people shown in this video are the lowest IQ, most selfish, useless people alive. If they were all simultaneously vaporized, the only people who would notice or care would be their families and beer distributors.
From the looks of them, they'll have sun poisoning to go with their COVID-19.
Ah, the beauty of natural selection. And the first place for this year's Darwin Award goes to...

Looks like a lot of food for kids. Some of these parents are now having to feed kids that normally ate lunch and breakfast at school.
There was a post on BP the other day where a parent set out food for parents to come and take for their kids, maybe this lady is doing the same.
Others: Hoarding toilet paper and hand wipes. Me: hoarding pudding and candy. ( Finally an excuse to hoard pudding)!!
Jerks All Around!
While that's a bit more than normal, it's not quite the price gouging I'm seeing others try.
Very true Carol, or it could be adulterated or diluted.
Load More Replies...You mean you have nearly empty used bottles of hand sanitizer you’re try to sell? Used bottles. That have been laying around your nasty car, purse, or bathroom. For months. That your nasty hands have already been all over. For months. Uh-huh. You’re an a*****e. A really stupid a*****e.
I've gone back to using bar soap, no plastic involved and works the same.
People are stupid. As long as you buy in bulk you can get those travel sizes for 0.25 cents each on Alibaba. Shipping takes the final price to no more than 0.75 cents each. Min order size is 500. Takes about 10 biz days to get and that's just one of many suppliers.
Are You Kidding Me?
First of all- it's Disney World- in Florida- not Disney Land- which is in California and closed earlier. Disney World closed the 16th and from a Floridian i can say that the two days before they were closed they were filled to capacity. NOT fake news.
This was the "closing celebration" - the last night they were open. Several people who were there are sick, one 34 year old man is dead. He flew back full of a contagious disease, not feeling well - Florida to California.
Hey, at least the Coloradans stay mostly healthy. Even if there are some goofy people buying things that they don't need. Not naming any names "cough, Cali-Cough-for-cough-nia" who moved to CO.
Actually, the Disney College Program got to watch it one last time before being sent home. That was their home for the last 2 months.
Still don't understand the obsessive need for toilet paper. Only 2-4% of sick people get diarrhea and the chances of getting sick are very low, too, so the chance of anyone needing this is close to zero. And even if you do need it, you don't get sick for SIX MONTHS...
There was an article claiming there would be a shortage of TP as China had switched production to face masks. So some people panic-bought as much TP as possible. Others saw and copied as that's what people do... fear that people know something that they don't. Soon after the first article other TP manufacturers outside of China were saying that there wasn't going to be a shortage, no need to worry, but it didn't get enough coverage. Then the panic spread to other goods once quarantine was mentioned and it was a downward slope from there.

I see what you did there...good one. I'll use it.

There's no shortage of toiletpaper and handsanitizer in my country, Alll the fools thinking they would make some serious money are crying now. Some guy posted a video of a huge warehouse where he is working. It is stacked to the rafters with toiletpaper.
TAKE THE PLEDGE: My name is John Louis. I live east of Cincinnati. I will NOT give in to fear and hysteria. I will buy the items I need when I need them! The other day I needed milk on Monday and had to wait until Tuesday to get it. The Horror!
I am Jozee Mom. I have a lot because I buy when on sale. As always, I share with neighbors and friends who run out. Amen.

While I am sure these sites dont currently have the man power to stop all of the price gouging, so I have reported anyone that I have come across to help them out, so far I have seen those removed. I dont feel bad at all, there are people doing without so others can make a quick buck on a crisis.
What I don't get is - why do shops allow this? I was grocery shopping today, and there were labels by the more popular items saying that you could only buy x amount of this item per person. Miraculously, I was able to find absolutely everything I had on my list except for cream and milk (there was toilet paper!). And if I'd been desperate I could just have taken the more expensive brands, or come back tomorrow. I'm actually really pleased with how it's being handled in my area. Restaurants, clubs, swimming pools and a lot of stores deemed "non-essential" are closed as off today, while a pretty broad definition of "essential" stores (supermarkets, apothecaries, drug stores, construction stores...) are getting extended opening times - so the people getting their everyday items can spread out more.

Besides, supply chain isnt being disrupted. Stores are getting all that stuff back in stock. Now all those idiots have all that TP and nobody else needs it.
It's times like this that let us know who the real monsters are. These people who are buying up everything and stealing from people's carts are showing that they are truly horrible and ignorant people and will one day pay for their selfish ways. Even in times of crisis, people need to remain civilized and need to stay human. "For civilization to survive, human beings have to remain civilized.- Rod Serling
Being a Florida resident, I can assure you that it's not just Clearwater that is crowded for Spring Break.
