Digital Artist Creates Thought-Provoking Illustrations That May Make You Look At Things Differently (29 Pics)
Art can give us a better understanding of our emotions and the world we live in. Even though some art pieces can be difficult to comprehend, they might provoke one to think and find his or her own meaning. Art is often connected to human emotions. In the process of creating art, artists express what they are concerned or curious about. In this way, they explore their own thoughts and feelings and at the same time encourage the public to engage in the journey of meaning-making.
In this article, we want to introduce you to a digital artist from India, Sarang Bhagat. He creates thought-provoking illustrations that may make you look at some ordinary things differently. The images are like stories that can tell us something more than meets the eye.
The artist revealed to Bored Panda that the artworks are inspired by his surroundings. Sarang likes to create conceptual art that shows what is happening around us from a different perspective.

Certainly not true for me. I don't live on my phone. It's generally in my hand only when someone calls or texts me, which happens rarely because I don't share my number with very many people. One of the advantages of that is I only need to charge it every eight or nine days. :-)

That's hard to do if I'm the toxic one (towards myself).

Idk why but I really like big cats and I'm not trying to hint at anything but I just think there really pretty
Third one like this. I think if you're a cat, you should embrace being a cat. Why would you want to be a tiger? Bigger isn't always better.
I hate that freaking mouse. Tom would be sleeping peacefully, Jerry would bite his tail, Tom would react, and get blamed for everything. Growing up, I was Tom and my sister was Jerry... (She grew into a very cool adult, though).

I don't know though...I'm not entirely sure that both images are the same person. I don't think they are. The noses look different. I think this is about separation.
Load More Replies...Again this makes more sense than the antler one. Rhino Johnson are oversized hairs, and permanent.
As far as the deer one goes yeah they come off anyways but most people kill them and chop them off as a trophy. If you want them in great condition, most people kill to get them. I live in Northern Canada and people everywhere around here go deer and moose hunting and nobody waits for the antlers to fall off when it's hunting season. They're impossible to find in the woods when they fall off too. The only time I've gotten it seen a hold of a nice full antler without the killing of a deer was from a deer farmer.

I really don't get this one... don't remove it on antlers that will fall off naturally in a few months. Is it a comment on not letting yourself change or a statement on pretending things are fine.
you would have 2 kill the deer 2 get the antlers. alot of people ONLY kill for the antlers and that means alot of wasted meat

Hmmm at first I thought this might mean "survival" but...that's the Taj Mahal in the background and the ocean on fire? I'm a little lost on this one.
This is quite thought provoking, I like this one, in a darker way of course.
truth...try getting a teen or millennial to turn off their phone for 1 hour.....they cant....they cry and go through withdrawal just like coming off drugs or booze.....
It's people in general. I do agree that it has become an addiction and that we refuse to talk about the bad side of technology and social media. It's a touchy subject for some. I also want to point out the irony of you speaking down on teens and millennials. While you yourself are on a phone, laptop, or computer on bored panda. So it seems you are one of those people you speak so negatively of, you just don't realize it. While I agree with some of what you're saying. The way you come off leaves no room for commutation and understanding of what you're really trying to convey.
Load More Replies...Wouldn't that be wonderful though? If things were more...still? More stationary? Sometimes I think we just scroll through life!
I think the point is that we’re now getting our “news” from Instagram and other social media. The dumbing down of democracy.

Load More Replies...Which stands for: ''In the morning, as soon as we wake up (even more tired than before going to bed) first thing we do, before we even wash ourselves, before we drink our coffee, is to reach out to take our dry mask from the nightstand to apply it, as if we were guilty of something, to our face sometimes using flour glue or fish glue, sometimes with that slimy glue that the shoemakers use to stick the skins. And all day long you feel the glue drying, falling in pieces from your skin; you feel untouched by sunlight, wind , water, by someone's hand or by your own hand; and you are worried that your mask might fall completely apart by an unintentional smile; you are worried that it might fall into your plate with the fried chicken the moment you say "I am not hungry at all"; and then your wild hunger, the inexhaustible appetite, will become bare''
I feel like this one represents how male victims of abuse rarely get any support and they feel like they have to hide it from everyone
This reminds me of a poem called ''Φαίδρα'' (Phaedra) by the late Greek poet Giannis Ritsos. An abstract from the poem reads: '' Το πρωί, μόλις ξυπνήσουμε (πιο κουρασμένοι απ’ όσο πριν απ’ τον ύπνο) η πρώτη κίνησή μας, πριν ακόμη πλυθούμε, πριν πιούμε τον καφέ μας, ν’ απλώσουμε το χέρι να πάρουμε απ’ το κομοδίνο το στεγνό μας προσωπείο να το εφαρμόσουμε σαν ένοχοι στο πρόσωπό μας άλλοτε με αλευρόκολλα ή ψαρόκολλα, άλλοτε με τη γλοιώδη εκείνη κόλλα που κολλούν τα πετσιά οι τσαγκαράδες.
I thought it represented heart disease caused by smoking and the death (flowers) around him in the hospital room.

Most of these works at first seem thought provoking, but once you think about it, the message is actually very shallow and says more about the artist's pet peeves than any real commentary on society. The antler one ruined everything because the artist didnt know antlers fall off (easy to find on a walk), and compared them to elephant tusks and rhino horns (both rare animals). Beautiful work nonetheless.
And most are just variations on a very limited number of themes.
Load More Replies...Yes! That was the exact same thought 'provoked' in me
