I'm Zach Cranor, creator of Last Place Comics. I draw comics that trend towards the silly and absurd, often spending more time within each strip to paint a bizarre vignette rather than tell a single joke.
The theme of it all, in so much as there is one, is failure. Very few of my comics end without a panel in which at least one person is crying, shrieking, or nervously sweating. Not in a depressing way, mind you. It isn't easy to take anything that's happening in these too seriously.

But think about other methods of enforcing cat behaviour. I've known of people who will hit their cats, or lock them in carry cases, or straight up abandon them. A little spray of water doesn't hurt them, it just gives them a shock, and they won't like it, but it doesn't harm them. Repetitive reinforcement is how both dogs and cats learn. Would you rather punish your pet in more harmful ways, or just let them get a tiny bit wet? I own 3 cats, and it gets to the point that even if I just shake the water bottle, or even just go to the cupboard it is in, they will stop misbehaving.

Yes. In order of appearance (standard names): Marlboro (yep, named after the cigarettes), Behemoth (purple), Bomb (goes BOOM), Cactuar (with 3 out of 10,000 needles).

Oh yeah! I remember you glowworm! Some 20 or so old fans have emerged as I've restarted and I don't know why but it feels awesome every time I run into one. Soon we'll all assemble and.... idk, form a Voltron or something.

Fun fact. You can actually tell which comics are more recent because Zach now includes pupils in his drawings. If they don't have pupils, it's an older comic.
