He found it and wouldn't let go, I don't pose the kids, rather encourage them to do what they want. In this case, I was taking family photos at their farm. That Ram came by and stood there. Their parents were ok with them hugging the animal. I guess they knew that it was a gentle and calm animal. I guess I was just lucky to witness the scene

I agree! They are an artistic representation of childhood. Most are pensive, almost sad. Loneliness is here. I don’t see or feel the joy, the magic, the inner world of children, or me as a child. I wish I could capture the delicious depth and freedom of complete connection to feelings and body and imagination, energy. Rarely, I sense it. And how much is in the way now of that state.

The photos are very beautiful, but in this day and age it stands out like a sore thumb that all of the subjects are white. This was the norm years ago, but in this day and age it's a bit disappointing.
