Happy Halloween, Pandas! If anyone knows how to do October 31st right, it's celebrities. They always seem to come up with the most entertaining costume ideas, and though most of us aren't about to shell out the cash needed to perfectly recreate their looks, we can at least use them as inspiration for our own crappy DIY getups. Our favorite celebs from across the board definitely brought their A-game this year, from Demi Lovato turning heads as Selena Quintanilla to Kim K pulling out a whopping 3 costumes in the span of a week (Aaliyah, Cher with Jonathan Cheban as Sonny, and Madonna with Kourtney as Michael Jackson), and we'd be happy to see any of them turn up at our door for candy. Seriously. We'll be waiting with a bowl of fun-sized Mars Bars until the sun comes up.

Prince-Nux, I'd say about roughly half of my friends are Japanese, i speak the language fluently. I have never once come across a single A single Japanese person offended by non-Japanese dressing as a geisha or maiko or samurai or ninja. In fact, it's a big part of their tourism industry to offer dressing up/photo shoots. So while you could probably find some person offended, "many" is highly unlikely and I wonder what you're basing that opinion on.

Personally, I really love day of the dead. I think it's a beautiful tradition, and a really great view on death. I'm not even close to being something Spanish, yet alone South American. I think the style of day of the dead is so beautiful. It's such a unique art style. It brings a happiness to symbols of death. So don't bash people for using that style, because you don't know if they know anything about it. Maybe they do know.
