What!? some person with no knowledge of economy hasn't said "HOW COME THEY DIDNT DONATE ALL THEIR MONEY HUH" yet? :P
He's been involved in virus prevention and pandemic research for quite a while. He help small companies with antiviral research and gas for a long time. What have you done?

Curious exactly what that means and the breakdown. To a persons foundation can mean anything from all to cause or to a special fund that is tax deductible and held indefinitely
Why is it that one very wealthy man and his wife try to do a good thing for humanity in a bad situation, and they get blasted for it? Another man, who has some money, has done absolutely nothing for the good of anything or anyone other than himself, and some people think he is doing a "great" job? How does that happen?

he also converted some of his factories to the production of suits for doctors and nurses
That is more meaningful aid than the monetary ones. Be real: he is rich (about 6.1 Billion...) so he has literally donated less that 0.3% monitarily.

Musician Bruno Mars donated $1 million to support MGM employees who lost their jobs in the wake of coronavirus crisis. The money was donated to the MGM Resorts Foundation. A portion of the donation will go towards the Employee Emergency Grant Fund and the Children’s Medical Support Fund.

Bethenny Frankel Donated 1 Million Biohazard Suits
Recently, a reality TV star and a businesswoman, Bethenny Frankel, supplied 1 million full-body biohazard suits to the New York State Government and New York Department Of Health with a million N95 masks on its way to medical professionals. The woman is also planning to distribute thousands of corona kits to both citizens and medics, which include sanitation wipes, gloves, SOS Hydration and the medical community’s recommendations.
The real question is how come she had a million suits? what was she planning!?
🤣 She already had them stocked like a good doomsday prepper. But it's good she didn't just donated money to some kind of shady "foundation".

She & Dax also eliminated rent on buildings they own for the next two months, awesome!
Again, 0.7% of their net wealth. This is simple PR for the wealthy and famous. "See, I'm helping!"
Net wealth doesn't mean they have all those millions sitting in a bank account though, a lot of it will be tied up in assets. I think any celebrity that is helping should be applauded. Not all of them are, they don't have to, and their acts could encourage others to donate too.
Load More Replies...It's so sweet how her daughters didn't hesitate to help. They're so caring and cute.

Taylor Swift Has Reportedly Donated To Her Fans Who Have Been Impacted By The Coronavirus Crisis
No, but a lot of big stars have been sending money to fans, some small amounts for just a pizza, some bigger to cover rent.
Load More Replies...Why are some of you all on here hating, at least shes helping in some way and there are a lot of people in need right now. Besides its not about how much money is given it is the thought that counts. It takes the most kindest and wonderful people like her in this world to make a change in someones life or a smile on someones face. Especially in a time like this.
It matters because they have *substantial* aid that they can give. Thier actions may be good on the surface, but we cannot wrap our heads around how much money these people command. To me, a $3000 donation is out of reach. For her, it is 0.0008% of her net wealth. She could literally do this for over 1000 people, and not break 1% of her overall wealth.
Load More Replies...TS is one of the kindest and most generous people on the planet. The work she has done behind-the-scenes is remarkable and wonderful. Her love for children in distress or suffering terminal disease is amazing, and she has been personally visiting with them and spending as much time as she can to brighten their last days. I will defend her always. The ridiculous post below from "vanities" is mean and senseless.
Ms Swift is a young woman who wins more and more of my respect. There is a very good head on her shoulders.
The government just put out a 2 trillion dollar bill. Swift is better? Can you coun?
Load More Replies...Really TSwift?? Don't even bother. She could afford $3 million. This is like me donating $5... insulting. She shouldn't even be mentioned here....

Mark Zuckerberg And Dr. Priscilla Chan Donated $25 Million To The Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation To Help Explore Treatment Options
Nice choice of picture (Completely out of focus) ! Even doing great gift, they still look like bad people.
How about taking down all the false information and lies about the virus being spread on facebook, especially by trump's cult. that would greatly help people out.
That's nice. But. He could give away 500 mil. and still wouldn't even notice it.
Stop s******g on him. You'd never be satisfied even if he donated all of his money.

After the NBA season was suspended, Giannis Antetokounmpo, a basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks, pledged to donate $100,000 to the Fiserv Forum staff.
Giannis Sina Ougko Antetokounmpo is a Greek professional basketball player, he was born in Athens, Greece to Nigerian parents and spent his childhood being stateless. Though I could say a lot about the difficulties obtaining Greek citizenship for refugees I won't. But do take a look at that face, that is the face of a migrant, of a refugee. We are of a lot of different nationalities, living in a handful of continents, and there are a few different skin colours. All of us are human beings.

Lady Gaga’s Beauty Line Donated 20 Percent Of One Week's Profits To Local Food Banks In Los Angeles And New York
20%of profit.. which is, after all costs are deducted, so you had no loss anywhere... I find this a bit meager tbh.
What I find odd is the amount isn't disclosed for that one week that passed. Usually businesses get the word out first to drum up sales and donate all profit proceeds or match but up to a certain amount.

Are you freakin' kidding me? with all her damn money that's all she can donate??? I'm so sick of these self-congratulating celebrities who donate jack to help.
What did you donate? Did you volunteer your time, send money or supplies? No, so STFU and quit whining about how someone else's donation doesn't meet your expectations.

But she's still selling Skims online... $88 for a pair pf pajama pants. Not ungrateful, just saying that her brand is non-essential business and she's still shoving it down people's throats during a massively inappropriate moment.
Justin Bieber Donated $29,000 To Assist Children In China
In February, Justin Bieber made a $29,000 donation to the Beijing Chunmiao Charity Foundation to assist children in China who had been impacted by the coronavirus.

$29K is nice, it seems to me he could have donated more, maybe MUCH more

Ah, well.. we Italians got Armani to make hospital suits, FCA and Ferrari to make breathing devices, Gucci to make hand sanitizer and Fendi to make masks. If we die, at least we die in style.. :-\

It's like one person said before...we should do the Mario Kart rules of distribution of emergency funds. The closer you are to first place, the less helpful power ups you get. I think the closer you are to the 1%..the less federal assistance you need. Save the money for the poor people living paycheck to paycheck and who just lost their jobs.

Yeah, lets not forget the real heroes. Kill coronavirus with inspitation.
Load More Replies...Glad they're doing this and the money will go far. Still, they're giving of their abundance so don't go too mad praising them. Real praise is reserved for frontline workers, volunteers and essential workers keeping countries running. These folk don't even notice the money they're giving away, yet reap huge dividends in the publicity and business opps that follow. But sure, I'm glad they're doing it and hopefully setting off a chain reaction amongst others with way too much money.
When the millionaires start helping, they can make a huge difference, because of the amount they can afford to give. In a sense, it should be compulsary in those difficult times that the big CEO's forgo their bonuses or salaries as well rather than greedily cry and ask for bailout from a government (read: you and me) who they haven't even paid their taxes to, while rolling in it. It's not like it's going to last forever, and if we're in it together, as we keep being told, everyone should participate. Especially those who can. Like Presidents, Royals, MP's, Lords, Ministers, Senators...who are, let's face it, paid by their employees and should not rake outrageous salaries/bonuses. Have you heard of any, in the world, saying they'd cancel their bonus or reduce their pay for a while at least? Thought not. And guess who's going to repay the debt they're increasing to "save" the economy....
