You'd think the kitty would like the softer bed better (I do see the cushion in the crate) but it isn't the softness of the bed...it's that it's the dog's bed! ;-D

Because most chihuahuas are 70 lb pit-bulls packed into a 5 lb body. It's only rarely that I've met a gentle quiet chihuahua. A face full of snarling snapping teeth scares me too. (Mind you, your chihuahua might be one of those sweet gentle ones - I obviously don't know.)

The dog is a tiny Chihuahua at 3 pounds at the cat is a backyard "monster" at 13 pounds, but they are the best of friends :-)
