On His Free Time, This Guy Makes Anime Costumes For His Cats And Here Are 35 Of The Coolest Ones
If you're a fan of cats, anime, and adorable cats dressed in tiny anime costumes, this one is going to be a treat! Apparently, there's this talented Japanese man who, in his free time, likes to create handmade anime costumes for his two cute cats. And people are sort of obsessed with it.
In fact, this cat dad even created a Twitter account solely dedicated to his cats and their little costumes. At the moment, his account has more than 16 thousand followers. If you know your anime well enough, you might be able to tell that most of the costumes he creates are based on those seen in productions from Studio Ghibli, a Japanese animation film studio. It's also worth noting that all of his designs are made from scratch and with his own two hands.
Bored Panda invites you to take a look at some of the most iconic looks YagyouNEKO has created for his two adorable cats.

I wish these came with a short description and the anime title and character.
This one looks like Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist. Beautiful kitty!
My first guess would be "Emma, A Victorian Romance", but Emma wore a brown cloak and hat when she was traveling, not blue, so I'm not sure who this is supposed to be.
Giyu Tomioka from Demon Slayer. What a great cat, to cosplay so well!
Love this...makes me feel as if I am in the company of someone regal!
The itsty bitsy tiny masks must have taken for ever!!! Thank you for your time!!
The amazing thing to me is that he was able to get costumes on all those cats and survive.
True. I couldnt even get my cat to wear a collar for 2 minutes.
Load More Replies...sorry, but there is no reason to put clothes on a cat, (unless of medical reasons), Cats hate having stuff put on them and its uncomfortable
Sorry, I'm lost, these costumes seem to be Japanese, are they from Japanese movies or cartoons?
Kudos to this talented man for the design and getting the cats to pose in the costumes! 🐈
i love all of these. I like how most of them are demon slayer, which is one of my favorite animes. i have been seeing these cat costumes around i was thinking of getting one for my cat. anyways all of these cats are really cute! my favorite is the part 8 Josuke cat, mainly because i'm a huge JoJo fan.
I am sure the cats do not wear the costumes for longer than it takes to snap a few photos. They aren't like dog clothes, which some dogs wear to protect them from cold weather, sunburn, etc. Some cats are tolerant of being dressed briefly provided they are gently handled, they aren't required to wear them for extended periods, and they get lots of praise and treats. It's not something that's for every cat, and I would never endorse putting clothes on cats for extended lengths of time, but briefly, for a few pics shouldn't be a problem for certain cats who are easy going.
