When you own a cat, there’s always a sort-of adventure waiting right around the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom/(insert a place) corner. You never know where it’s gonna take you. But who are we, mere humans, to judge cat logic?
And all you can do is capture that hilarious moment of your feline stuck in the most bizarre places, stretched in the most awkward positions, and accomplishing the most ‘but why?’ deeds.
Bored Panda has compiled a list of some of the best cat Snapchats as a reminder that whatever your feline comes up with, you can never take away that social media star quality. Okay, the owners deserve some praise too. Because some of the snap one-liners that go along with the pic take it to a whole new level! And after you’re done, check out our previous batch of cat snaps here, here, here, and here.

Wait. One has a white chin and the other has a black chin. Subtle difference, but one way to tell them apart. Look at old pictures of your cat. Regardless, this is uncanny. I mean, what are the odds that two nearly identical cats should take up residence at the same house at nearly the same time?
I agree that there are differences that can be used to work out which is his cat - the little white blob to one side of the cat's nose as well as the chin! I don't think it was a case of the cat taking up residence though. He says that he 'found' the cat and brought them home - that one is most likely to be someone else's cat!
Load More Replies...Believe it or not, when a cat moves in with me, I take pix of its marking up close just in case.... That slight difference in where white starts/stops, or whiskers or paws... Yeah. I'm that careful. Ever since I was a kid and the vet gave us back the wrong cat, in fact....
Also, microchip your cats even if they are inside only cats.
Load More Replies...It's not chipped? For all you know, you and your neighbor could have been passing identical cats between each other for years!
Plot twist : neither of them is his cat, the real owner's cat comes back himself and is like wtf who are all this dudes in my house!?
Wow, they look so alike. I don’t blame you for mistaking them. I was friends with twins for 6 years during school and even when I see them now I still can’t tell them apart.
Not THAT unlikely they're relatives, maybe brothers. Usually, a litter of cats gets adopted somewhere around the area their mother lives in. The litter my last two cats were from consisted of two striped dark ones without any white, two black ones with a few spots (armpits, chest, pubic) and a white-belleyed striped one. Two identical twins, one single, likely from three fathers (common in many mammals).
One’s got that tic of white by his nose and his bib is a bit bigger, but uh, yeah, you gots 2 kitties now. Big uns. XD
I would have loved to see the look on cat A’s face when he came home to cat B 😂😂😂
I heard a similar story from my stepdaughter. A neighbour found her own black cat whose leg was broken probably due to a car. She took the cat to the vet, and upon returning found another black cat at home - her own. Now she has two black cats
I am really sorry for the owners of the other cat, but the do look ridicolously alike.
I guess EVERY CAT Has A Doppelganger, too?! That's Caaa~Razy, but SO DAMN CUTE!
And I have a cat just like yours! She has a full size tail but in the pic, it's flopped over. DSCN0629-2...aaa0b1.jpg
One has a white dot on the left lip, one has an extra white bit on the right cheek. Both are chonks.
This is one of the reasons I have a dog. They're individual goofiness is very distinct and identifiable.
He's always had two cats, he just didn't notice till now. :) Though really, both of those cats are well-fed, so the extra one belonged with someone! The nearer cat is Sebastian (because of his jowls and neat goatee) and the further one is Ambrose (for his muttonchops).
Maybe you've had 2 this whole time.. I had an orange stray I named Kitty Rick.. Sweetest thing ever.. Found out after months of feeding him, there was 2 of him! Identical! Same with a huge fat raccoon my son named Tido that eats and hangs out with the strays we feed.. One night I pull up to THREE FAT TIDOS!? It's like they found out you're cool, then go twll their twin siblings.. There's NO WAY you've been feeding only 1 fat identical cat this whole time, they're both the same size, so they have to have been both your cat, just taking turns.. stranger things have happened!
I feel like he's suggesting this is a problem, but I think it's awesome.
Take both dear sweet kitties to your vet and have both scanned for a microchip to see which one is yours 😻 If the second cat does not have one, well you now are the proud cat parents of twins 😻
yes, you would know by their personality. Cats surely have their personalities!
Aww the one on the right has the same configuration of whiskers and eyebrows as my tuxedo cat - mine has white whiskers, one white eyebrow and one black eyebrow! Only difference is this cats white eyebrow is the right side, my cats is the left eyebrow! It kinda makes him distinctive and, hopefully, easy for us to identify if he ever got lost (fat chance of that happening - he is a house cat and doesn't get outside)
I wonder if he would have ever figured it out if his cat hadn't returned?
The one on the right looks a little freaked out , so I'm guessing the one on the left is his
Poor thing I found him sitting on someone’s porch with a collar on
Cats are a species that exists of many doppelgangers. Most cat owners will see a cat somewhere and do a double take because the resemblance to their own furball (current or past) is uncanny
This really, really made me smile. Just double your cat food shopping.
I doubt a little that they also have identical characters, eating preferences, sleeping spots...
This is exactly what my new cat looks like. Except she's pregnant and about to pop. I mean exactly.. The back socks may look diff. One is low and one is high. The one on the rights mouth is closer to my cat though.
you found his long lost brother..now united agein..wait or was it the clone ?
Hmmm...someone think like me that the first cat could belong to someone else? Who is actually looking for his lost cat..🤔
Oh yes indeed, is difficult, I have a black cat, it had me thinking that if she got lost, (indoor cat) how to tell her apart, these two have a few little differences, one has ears more to a point, the other more round, one has more white fur on chin, I would never want to have this experience !!!
That is pretty awesome. I wonder whose cat you stole? LOL. They are twins.
If you can’t tell the difference between the two you aren’t very observant.
Hey I buried one of mine once or so I thought then mine came in the cat flap! No joke!
Aaaaaw, I wonder what your cat thought about that? Identical...is it possible they’re twins from the same litter?
well you can always say the one on the left and the one on the right...
That's enough to drive you batty trying to figure out how in the world did that happen.
It’s no secret that many cat owners are hoarding cat pics and snaps on their phones. Research done by OnePoll showed that the average owner spends around 1,016 hours with their cat per year and takes 7 photos a day. And cat photography is surely having its top moment since many of the furballs are now insta-famous. For example, Smoothie the Cat, who’s also known as the Queen of Fluff, has a whopping 2.2 million Instagram followers!
About a year ago, the Snapchat cat filter that let people try on a feline face was everywhere. There were thousands of videos surfing around on cats looking at phone screens where the owners with a cat face filter were looking back at them. The cats would turn around, look at the human again, then back to the screen. It was speculated that animals do that because they recognize the confusion.
Kristyn Vitale, who studies cat behavior at Oregon State University, told The Verge it’s not the case. “It isn’t a sign that cats pass the mirror test, despite what some people responding to the video seemed to think.” The mirror test is a common way to measure whether an animal has self-awareness or not. In this case, no study was run on how cats interact with gadget screens.
Meanwhile, the pet influencer business boomed in the past 5 years. As a result, pet talent management agencies have started popping up. According to Loni Edwards, who runs one such firm, the Dog Agency, the ways pets become insta-famous depend on very different things. “Either they’re very unique-looking, or super witty—as long as there’s something, whether it’s that they are insanely cute or really not cute,” it has to induce an "Oh, my god" reaction.
The longer I look, the funnier it gets Edit: wow thanks for 100 likes!
And her first whiff of catnip in the toy. Yes, you now have a ‘nip junkie in your house. Enjoy every minute of it!
Remember those old “Hang in there” posters? Well, we have a new picture to use for the reissue.
Hate to tell you, but your Feline is a bit off. You actually told him, "Move in with us," and he said yes...
Put clothes on her...then she can be edited into a raw chicken wearing clothes.

"For example, Smoothie the Cat, who’s also known as the Queen of Fluff, has a whopping 2.2 Instagram followers!" If you can't get 2.2 followers, you're doing it wrong, lol. And how does someone count as .2 of a person?
Probably 2.2 million Instagram followers which is 2,200,000 if I am hopefully right. 2.2 followers ain't sh!+
Load More Replies...Yes! More kitty pics please my two fuzz-buckets have social-distancing down pat, each napping in separate rooms during our isolation days. Have a 6 yr. old brown tabby & a 2 yr. old little yellow guy, neither provide any photo ops for me!
