If you google the story you’ll find that she’s a community cat in the area and that community royally spoiled her after they found out. Baby was in perfect health and I’m sure was adopted to a family who wouldn’t leave him in the snow 🙄

Yeah, I recall that Cat Whisperer guy always doing that to cat's he was trying to retrain for folks. In one episode, he made a video of himself doing that for the owners to play on their TV for that particular cat & apparently it worked very well! 😊 I've had success with that tactic when calming feral cats around our property & getting them to trust me enough so I can bring them in, groom them, take them to vets...etc. As funny as u might feel doing it in the moment, I can attest it works wonders! 😊

I do that, too. When I meet with my friend's cat or when she comes to room, I give her quick blink or blink back, if she blinks first. Then I, time to time, give her long slow blink with tilting head slowly, or answer her same way, if she does that. It means "I love you." Third situation is when we've played and she bites me too hard, or if she sometimes gets annoyed and bites me. Then she blinks her eyes, I think it means about "I know I didn't do exactly the right thing, but I assume we're still friends, right?" Then I answer with blinking same way. She can't stand if I stare her to eyes. She may try to look away - or bite me. That's because it means challenging or defying her. I may do that also, if she has been bad kitty. I also hisssss and spit, if she does something forbidden. In same situation, my friend growls to her - she seems to understand both methods. Usually she is very very very good and loveliest kitty girl, so we don't need to hisss or growl very often. :)
