They just know when you’re sad and upset. They know that’s the time to cuddle and be silly so you’ll smile and maybe even laugh. When you’re sick they stick to your side like Velcro and keep you company. Cats, and dogs too, are the very BEST therapy.
Yes! My orange "I Hate Everyone" cat knows when I'm feeling down or getting sick--sometimes before I do. He'll make a nuisance of himself with headbutts and tiny little chirps. If that fails he'll do the belly-flop and stare at me upside-down until I pet him.
Load More Replies...We had a group of friends round one Sunday afternoon and my cat jumped up onto the arm of the couch. The big guy sitting there squealed and pushed her across the room. Now I'm fine if you don't like cats but physically pushing her across the room, Oh No! Thanks for coming but you can leave now.
Coming, not the other spelling. Well, depending on what kind of gathering it was.
Load More Replies...I love cats, so when I met my aunt & uncle's gorgeous Ragdoll kitty I ignored her completely even though I really wanted to scoop-and-snuggle. She hopped onto my lap, meeped, and then ran and hid in horror for the rest of my visit. Weirdo. 😆
