The Same Artist Who Made People Cry With Her Comic ‘Good Boy’ Just Shared A New One With A Black Cat
Death takes us away in mysterious ways. And while we can’t know for sure when or how we’ll leave this world, it’s the fact itself that we have to make peace with. Exploring the possibilities of the afterlife, artist Jenny Jinya created a few sad comics, and they’re really touching as well.
One is about a good boy who passed away a lot sooner than you’d expect, and the other sad story is about an equally good lady whose black fur stopped a lot of people from getting to know her.
While these cartoon drawings deal with a difficult subject matter, Jenny has found a way to present death as something hopeful, rather than devastating. And who knows, maybe it isn’t as bad as we picture it?

P.S. Jenny regularly contributes to Bored Panda, so if you like these black cat comics, check out her submission titled I’m An Incredibly Shy Person So I Made These 8 Comics To Show What It’s Like or simply fire up her profile on our platform.
“There are dozens of posters and infographics with various statistics about abused or abandoned animals. Many know the problems, but such information is quickly forgotten,” Jenny told Bored Panda. “I try to give a voice to the victims with my sad drawings. I want the affected pet animals to be able to tell their own stories. I hope I can raise awareness this way.”
The artist said she can’t decide if death is just a state or the beginning of a new adventure: “Who knows. I’m not the one to answer that. But I like to imagine death as a person who is just doing their job. People hate them for what they’re doing, but in the end, someone has to do it. I like to imagine Death to be a gentle and insightful being.”
Here’s another similar comic that Jenny made earlier
“For all I know, we could be part of the biggest MMORPG in the whole universe, but there’s no way of knowing it,” Jenny concluded. “Now go and hug your pet!”
I literally just stopped crying due to depression like an hour ago and now this.

Thanks everyone. Also I have a cat. She's a rescue. I used to have a black cat he passed away from old age last year. Really though, thanks all.
Rescues are the best but that's just my opinion. Hope you're having a better day than before.
More *hugs* and a little prayer for you too.
I am just a bit, thanks. Also I agree. Adopt, don't shop. Thanks again, doubly so for checking back in. Small things like that do mean a lot.
Hang in there the best you can.
I hope you feel better fast. Warm hugs for you.
I've been keeping my depression tears in for the past 38 years. I think I may melt soon. 😔
I completely understand. Depression is super tricky and often makes it hard to release all those feelings and instead keep them in and building while looking fine on the outside. I often find after I do have a big break and cry a lot, I will (temporarily) feel almost normal for once. It is hard though. Fight on.

Oops, repeat.
Adopt a pet.
I have one! She was feral the first two years of her life and had two litters of kittens in that time and was pregnant when I found her! She gave birth at my house and at the time I didn't know if I would keep her so just called her mama kitty, but she decided that was her forever name and has become the cuddliest most chatty cutie. I agree your advice is good. I often suffer from fits due to having multiple types of depression (chronic atypical and a few others) as well as an anxiety disorder, relaxation induced anxiety disorder, and other more personal things. She keeps me stable through it all.
That "Good Boy" comic gets me every darn time. The "Me is the death" panel makes me smile uncontrollably though. The black cat comic is thoughtful, and bittersweet.
This is so sad yet beautiful... What a nice way to portrait death and the sadness that comes with it
Ani: I can understand your comment in relation to the dog (I mean: everyone loves a "happy ending", right?) BUT..what/where is the cat's "reward"? She was run over O.N PURPOSE...WHO did THAT benefit??
It's not a full story. There is continuation
IKR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid ppl are dumb and hate cats
