The Best Wedding Photos Of 2018 Show What Happens When You Pay For A Good Photographer
Wedding photography has evolved into a significant profession of its own over the years, encompassing a variety of styles and approaches to help document one of the most important days in a couple's life.
Naturally then, like any artistic profession, there is a place where your skills can be recognized and judged by your peers. Fearless Awards is a curated competition which unveils a carefully-chosen collection of top-class wedding pictures every two months (you can also find the best of 2017 here).
"Fearless Photographers was founded in 2010 when I was still a working wedding photographer. I am now retired from wedding photography so I can work full-time on the Fearless Photographers business. I founded Fearless to showcase the work of the best photographers specialized in weddings who made amazingly beautiful images that went beyond typical wedding ceremony photography. I wanted to compile collections of these wedding photos to show the world how unique and breathtaking couple photos could be," the creator of Fearless Photographers told Bored Panda.
These awards recognize only the very best wedding photos, only 2 out of every 100 submissions are chosen, so prepare to be truly inspired! "Right now, about 3,100 wedding photographers are listed on the site. Our "Fearless" community is very active in efforts to educate, inspire, and help each other."
Bored Panda has compiled a list of some of the most impressive, artistic and cute pictures of the year so far, images that perfectly capture the drama, emotion and pure joy of getting hitched. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself, and vote for your favorites too!

Am just tearful at the quality of emotion in this one image. I dont understand someone who doesnt get it .This is the moment you are giving your precious daughter away to another man. This is the most beautiful you will ever see her and it is the last day she will be your child and under your protection.
it seems like he's setting her on fire, rather than putting it out... Just the way it should be! 😊💕
yes but also kinda cool that you can see the men and women but in 2 different rooms
For me.. those tears are product of that overwhelming feeling of love. When you love someone SO MUCH that it just fills you and you can't believe that this person, this beautiful, amazing person loves you back, you feel amazed by thinking how happy you are because s/he exists and how s/he can make you feel this way, and experience this profound and pure LOVE.
Oh this is going to be a wonderful marriage. Full of pranks ... and joy and laughter.
Its the "haldi" ceremony in Indian weddings. "Haldi" or turmeric powder is applied by the friends and family on bride before the wedding day. It helps improve skin complexion during the actual wedding.
Reminds me of a scene from a musical. I expect them to start dancing any moment.
This must have been Brian May's wedding (Bohemian Rhapsody)
This is great. It shows the sacrifice that a mother gives of here body, time, and energy even on her wedding day to her little one.
My grandmother raised her kids in the depression. Back then your breast fed a long as you could because it was free food.
Children can actually breastfeed until they are around 8 years old. After that, they lose the ability due to changes in the structure of their faces and inner mouth. I breastfed my baby until she was almost 4. Only stopped because she started school. Apparently, sticking a boob through the fence at lunchtime is a no-no. Who knew? Anyway, as I always say, you don't like to see this? Easy solution - look away and mind your own business!
The controversial topic of breastfeeding (Why?) has once again divided the internet, whoa look at these comments. I genuinely wish everyone here could experience breastfeeding, might change the world
My ex-wife had a friend who was still breast feeding her 5 year old. They were at our house and the kid kept trying to unbutton mom's shirt to get some lunch. Not cute!
Live the expression on the child's face. My friends who breastfed their children til the child was a toddler & wanted to stop, have mentally healthy children.
Breastfeeding is great, but the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists recommends no more than 6 breastfeeding sessions per day after the child reaches 1 year old. The dentist I work for suggests stopping at one year & using a plastic cup with water. Between the age of 1-6 American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no more than 6 ounces of milk or juice from a cup (without a spout or straw) per day. Who knows a child that is malnourished? Not me. Who knows a child with Early Childhood Caries? Spend a day with me at work & your thoughts on breastfeeding & bottle feeding will change!
Beautiful picture! May I remind people here that although you have your right to express yourself, this is the 21st century. Progress has been made! We value freedom and not dictatorship rules made by men in the name of their own group imaginary friend. We want to continue this progress, not to go backwards. There is no problem with having a baby before marriage. Wedding is just a ceremony celebrating the love between people and their choice to live together. I hope that in the future the wedding ceremony will reflect only that. There is no problem with breast feeding or with showing the human body. Come on people, it time to grow up!
If she is still feeding from her mom that's great for both of them, but my personal feeling is that, on this day at this time, it was probably more of a comfort thing for this little girl. Mommy getting married, her getting a new dad, so much happening, lots of excitement, everyone busy, maybe a little fear, a bit overwhelmed and she just wants to know that mommy is still right there for her. <3 <3
So what's wrong with that? it helps children build trust in their world and builds their self confidence
Load More Replies...Not your baby, not your boobs. You people that are judging and asking questions need to put those two cents back in your pockets. Smh
While I agree that the woman has the right to make her own decisions, putting it out there in a formal photo and posting it to the internet does invite judgement. People post stuff for quick validation, but the internet is a double edged sword.
Load More Replies...The amount of the a******s who attack the dude just for asking the question needs to shut the f**k up!!! It's just bloody question and we are not all experienced in parenting or these matters stop you yourself being judgemental garbage and attacking others without being sure of the intention of his her questions!!
Thank you! The pro-breastfeeding warriors want to be b****y when people judge them, but when someone asks a genuine question to understand it better, they are still b****y. Pick a lane, ladies. People who don't understand things, tend to fear or hate them; so attacking someone for trying to learn is really defeating your purpose.
Load More Replies...Who the f**k are any of you to decide when a mother and child stop breastfeeding?! Go back under your bridges, trolls.
Some people have kids BEFORE they get married. What makes you think the girl is getting a NEW father?
Load More Replies...That kid is three at most. I would not call her “older.”
Load More Replies...What is wrong with photos of children eating? Breastfeeding is natural, nothing weird about it.
Load More Replies...Nah judging by her hair and size I'd say 2.5-3 years old, which in western terms is fine to still be feeding.
Load More Replies...I'm afraid the World Health Organisation disagree with you, but what do they know heh?
Load More Replies...It is very easy to judge when you are not the one behind the camera. Wedding's are some of the most difficult moments to photograph well. There are so many factors - the bride, groom, guest and weather do not always cooperate. It is a very stressful job, you must have ability to see and capture the ordinary and spot the extraordinary and catch it in an instant. It really is a gift. Use of photo editing can enhance a ordinary photo and make it sublime. Expectations of what will be captured is very high and a great wedding photographer meets and exceeds those expectations with barely being noticed. I loved all of these photographs. Kudos to the photographer(s) who took them.
I love to try my hand at all types of photography, but would never want to be a wedding photographer the beautiful photos in this post will inspire me to up my game elsewhere, however
i feel like this was really just an ad for the photographer. it didn't appear that there were multiple photographers or maybe it's just multiple companies. It was effective. Definitely amazing work. Memories.
Amazing! After the big day all you have are the memories and photos. A great photographer will capture some of those moments that you missed as well.
Just be aware that this is not the standard, but the best of the best. You'd need to hire those people and they need to have a good day to get these results.
This post mostly shows a bunch of people more concerned with being able to look good online than anything to do with what a marriage ceremony is for. It's really discouraging.

How so? I’d love to know the reasoning behind that opinion. Is it cultural or personal or some other reason?
Load More Replies...I honestly did not find most of these really great. A lot of photo shop. The ones that spoke to me were the natural ones that showed the love the couple felt for each other
As a photographer I can assure you that almost all photos you see are photoshopped to hell, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's like how people complain about CGI in movies; you only complain when you notice it (i.e: when it's done poorly). When it's done poorly in reportage-style shooting it sticks out like a sore thumb.
