All these ladies are stunning before and after and its only their own opinion that matters . One thing that is always puzzling me is : why do some brides choose such make up that makes them look like someone else ? I’ll be shocked if my grooms nose, hair , brows , facial hair etc looked dramatically different. Again, just my opinion, wishing then all a lifetime of happiness
I didn't mean to downvote that, it happened trying to open the comments. But as someone who has been a bridal makeup artist for over 20 years, they all ask for pretty much the same thing. They don't want to look like themselves. They want to look like a glam goddess for the day. Even the few who want a more natural look don't realize how much makeup it actually takes to make you look natural in your pics. Certain things don't photograph well and heavy makeup is the standard for good pics most of the time. The few brides who resist makeup ask and pay for a lot of Photoshop and editing once they get their pics back.

How is NO ONE calling out the PHOTO SHOP?? The razor sharp lines of their lips, the void under their chins, the perfect, uniform "tan" all the way down their arms. This is not "contouring" it's fake, fake, fake.
I did hair & makeup for Film & TV for 15 years. Worked in salons up & down the West Coast as well. OF COURSE the after is going to look better. I want to see a before with them in their everyday hair & makeup. Not hair pulled back, no makeup on, terrible lighting and angle.
The makeup artist is making all the women look exactly the same as each other after the makeup
Thank you! I like the nude colors on lipstick because at least it looks like the artist is at least keeping half their face and just enhancing their eyes.
Load More Replies...her entire chest area has been totally photo-shopped. This is not just the 'magic of makeup'.
Professional makeup artist Arber’s skills are so good that he’s turned his name into a brand that’s known all over the world.
His following on social media has grown to become absolutely phenomenal. At the time of writing, Arber boasts a whopping 531k followers on Instagram.
I'm a man. That being said, I wish everyone would see that in a loved ones eyes these beautiful women were already seen as the second image. No woman was ever more beautiful than my mother, my sisters, my aunt, my sweetheart.
That's the best comment I will ever see on here!
Load More Replies...i agree with PickleRick. Why use 4 lb of makeeup. The face is beautiful, yes, but not as beautiful as the woman he fell in love with. She wal already a beauty.
I wish they would've chosen a different lipstick color for her. But that's just me.
idk what you wanted her to do about that. like i could say “i don’t like ur pfp i prefer solid colors” but that would be weird because it’s so unnecessary like you’re doing what you want, so whatever. but yeah your opinion doesn’t really matter here
Load More Replies...His fans can’t wait to see the freshest new looks he has to share with everyone. And anyone who wants his services can easily contact him via phone, email, or social media.
The beauty influencer’s following has grown by 800k people since the last time Bored Panda featured his looks.
I really like this one! I feel like she still looks like herself and I LOVE the hair! Many of these women maybe do wear some makeup regularly, just because a lot of women enjoy doing so. So we aren't necessarily seeing what they usually look like from day-to-day vs their wedding day, we're seeing completely bare-faced compared to wedding makeup. And someone who usually uses no make up at all can always ask the makeup artists for a more subtle, natural look. So I doubt the grooms had as much trouble recognizing them as everyone assumes lol
Why change her nose? Every face isn't made for the narrow fake Paris Hilton nose
I wish these comments wouldn’t all be comparing how much more/less beautiful they are before/after - this level of make up is an art form and it’s supposed to achieve a look, not make you more beautiful. Just like a dress is symbolic to the day and the husband/wife wouldn’t think she’s any more beautiful with it on, the make up goes with it to complete the look.
YES! And it's a special day, so they want to look special/different from the other days!
Load More Replies...I dont like the makeup look on ANY of these. They all look like they got transformed into Instagram influencers . That same boring, generic look thats sooo popular nowadays. I don't understand why this look is so popular. It takes beautiful unique women and make them all look the same, it's ridiculous.
I find these so scary. Most of them are completely different people after the do-over
I know a little about photography and drawing, the make-up work is fantastic, heavy use of shadows of course and other tricks, the problems with the before and after pictures is because they were taken with different lighting and angles that is why some readers have doubts.
During an earlier interview with us, Arber revealed that he’s pretty much always wanted to be a makeup artist, ever since he was a child.
However, he said that his family had been opposed to his dreams. "In our culture, a male in the beauty industry is considered taboo," he said.
They have a tan because being too fair in your pics can make you looked washed out, depending on the lighting involved.
Load More Replies...Many of them look the same afterwards. Red lips, tan, almond eyes. And: They look completely different. I would not want to look like a stranger on my wedding. For me all brides have way too much makeup that changed them into complete different persons.
Looking at it I think it was just lighting? Like she has more hazel eyes and they appear brown in some lights, green in others. My best friend has that. Her eyes will shift from greenish to blueish to hazelish depending on the light.
Load More Replies...I really think she has green contacts in - her eyes have that "shiny" kind of look to the pupils. But I love the blue-red lipstick on her.
Give the funny looking one 'one', then 1000's of 'one's to the real one
from brown eyes to green? Like all of these photos, I wonder if the groom wouldn't like to know that he's actually marrying the same girl he proposed to?
"So, at first, I got a master’s degree in economics, and only then did I follow my dream and started working as a makeup artist,” he explained that his journey towards his dreams has been a long one, indeed.
The makeup artist remains as passionate about his craft as ever. The amount of hard work that he puts in is incredible. He works with over a thousand brides each year.
Oh her freckles are so cute. In my opinion it is not necessary to cover them.
Freckles, her real smile, her eyes. From beautiful to plastic, it's a shame.
Is this page a joke or is it supposed to be thought-provoking? If you don't find the person on the left more beautiful than the plastic version on the right, your perception of what beauty should be has been totally messed up by social media & Instagram filters etc.
Indeed. There's a difference between putting on make-up and getting a totally different face imo. If I met either one of the women in this post with make-up I would probably not recognize most of them without it. I get the art of it, as one poster pointed out, but not recognising my wife to be at the altar would be a real bummer tbh.
Load More Replies...I bet one of the reasons her new husband fell in love with her was those freckles and and dimples. You took them away. I hope these women are doing this for themselves because no man ever asked the women he loves to do this for him.
It's not like they've been permanently removed. Maybe this is just the look she wanted for her wedding day!
Load More Replies...It obviously makes her feel beautiful. Good for her. Stunning both ways.
If you want to have beautiful, fashion picture of yourself at your most glamorous, go for it by all means. Just not on your wedding day. You and your partner along with your future children and grandchildren will want to see a picture of your natural beauty instead.
Too much. She looks like a Disney princess cartoon. She has a beautiful complexion. Should have went the no make-up/make-up look.
honestly why does it matter what you think. it’s not even your weddinng
Load More Replies...The only one I think is beautiful, and I wish I knew how to change the appearance of my nose. But, I still think overdone with the make-up.
"When I meet my client, the first question I ask is what kind of occasion are they getting their makeup done for," Arber shared with Bored Panda a glimpse into how he works with his clients.
"I also ask my clients if they have any specific requests. For example, if they want a natural or dramatic look,” he said.
Is it just me or do they all look like the same person in the “after” photos?? It also seems as though most of their bodies are covered in makeup (shoulders go from pale to super-tan)?
What about her right arm? Not matching up. It looks quite different.
Load More Replies...From model to plastic barbie.. it makes me sad that they think they need this..
In a bunch of these they also change the outfit in minor ways, such as pulling down the sleeves
Hmmm this probably comes down to either coloured contacts, photoshop or lighting. No amount of makeup can really change the brightness of your eyes, or your jawline either.
She is already lovely without all that falseness put on that made her look like all the others.
If I had paid good money and was all excited to glam up for once on my wedding day, and loved the fun of having a special look and feeling like a star, I would be really hurt by a comment like this.
Load More Replies...Why is it that every single bride he works on have slugs for eyebrows and tarantula eyelashes? They all look like Stepford brides. The Huge Groucho Marx eyebrows are not normal. This pretty gal had lovely eyebrows to start with. All she needed was a smidge of definition. He also overdraws all their lips. I am so glad I did my own makeup at my wedding.
Stepford wives is what I immediately thought. That and the signature McTrumpian orange skin tones.
Load More Replies...Literally just have to tone down the makeup on eyebrows and lips. If they just outlined them it would've been fine. Swear. Tryin to make this chick into a caricature with exaggerative features. Calm dowwwwn.
Bride of Dracula? jeez... hope this lot aren't reading the comments...
"Then I ask them [to show me] the dress that they are going to wear. The design of the dress and its details reveal the style of the look the client is going for. Then, I analyze their facial features,” the professional shared how he works, step by step.
These pictures highlight the fact that others barely see our insecurities. I mean the girl on the left is gorgeous (as are the others) and the pics on the right make THEM feel gorgeous. We spend so much time covering things we think look bad when others don't even notice them. I'm saying this, but whenever someone whips out a camera I hide because I can't face pictures of myself. I know.
Well said, I feel like this is the first comment where someone understands that the make up isn’t made to actually make you more beautiful, it’s a look. And yes, you can see by the attitude in the pics that they feel expensive 😆 haha
Load More Replies...The makeup for this lovely lady should have been much more minimal. The lip color should be closer to her real coloring, and the eyes look wonderful without the heavy eyeliner. She looks more like an adult entertainer than a young bride.
left left left...and that blouse is stunning! she is sooo pretty
This is a terrible article, that just feeds into womens' self-image. On top of that, all the before pictures look better than the afters.
Not enough positivity for natural beauty. The makeup is too much! 🤢
where do these women's noses go? this one looks like someone took a pair of scissors to it.
I mean, I can appreciate the craft but why would you not want to look like yourself on your wedding day.
The pandemic had impacted Arber’s line of work, just like many other makeup artists’. During the lockdowns, they had fewer clients than usual.
However, normally, summer is the busiest season for them. He and his team can work on as many as 60 or more clients per day which is absolutely incredible.
Scary AF. I prefer most of the "before" pictures on this page. They all look similar (and totally fake) afterwards. Far, far too much makeup. You don't have to do this to look good, ladies, trust me... :)
It looks like a filter, too... There is just something wrong with her jaw line and cheek bones.
It's called contour on her jaw and cheekbones. Makeup is knowing how to sculpt the face to bring out and accent certain features. No filter necessary. It's just the power of makeup.
Load More Replies...This picture is kinda weird tho. I'm not gonna go as far as tho other >n> but, what happened to her wrinkles and cute dimple?? Lowkey still dislike the red lipstick.
left: girl you can feel instantly in love with - right: any random hoe at a nightclub
All of them are. There is no way to make up the white of the eyes so white.
Load More Replies...I’m sorry but I have to say there all beautiful, and they all have lovely lips, so why dose the artist feel the need to add lip stick over there face to make the lip look larger. You can see how the artist has gone over the lips. I had a makeup artist do this to me when I went to have pictures with my mum done..I took it off and did my own lips..and my picture was even in the shop window for a few months after.. just my opinion of course.
I agree. It's bizarre looking in real life, like a kid missed their real lips. That was a style in the early 80s in the inner city - drawing a dark line all around the outside of the lips and then coloring it in with some flashy color.
Load More Replies...What is with those freaky eyelashes? They make the brides look scary!
Arber revealed to Bored Panda that, at the time, his team consisted of 25 people. 15 of them are makeup artists and 10 are hair stylists. That way, he’s able to serve all the clients who want his services.
The pro makeup artist has been working on sharing his skills with more people. "Some of my students are working part-time and some are full-time employees,” he said that he’s trained quite a few industry professionals. Passing on one’s experience to others is the sign of a true master.
Oh my word, not to be rude, but does it matter? It's their special day, if they're beautiful why would it matter to you? It's not like they're suggesting they get plastic surgery to permanently look like this, they just want to feel super confident on their wedding day. Who wouldn't?
Load More Replies...I like how they did the lipstick in this one. :3 Different color from the rest. Matte, and outlined decently.
These women end up all looking alike and NOT like themselves. It's like the groom is marrying someone he never met!
Did any of the grooms freak out because they didn’t recognize the woman walking down the aisle?
It's the exact same look on each one. so much for creativity
Load More Replies...yeah, I think it's the photo shopping. She almost looks like a caricature.
Load More Replies...No, it just depends on the position she's sitting in and camera angle. She curved her back in and put her arm in front of her belly while the cameraman shot from above.
Load More Replies...Her neck looks different in the 2nd pic. It’s clearly also photoshopped.
but on the right the head is to much bigger that her body! I guess that the body is photoshopped... anyway! too scary
Using the same palette on everyone? Give everyone the smoky eye? All of these ladies have been robbed of their individual uniqueness. Yes, they're beautiful, but in a very cookie cutter way.
And her hairline is filled in...gone is the mini widow's peak.
Load More Replies...The artist shared that he technically has enough resources to work with 100 clients each day.
“We start our workdays early in the morning and make sure our schedule has absolutely no impact on the quality of services, satisfying all of their needs,” he said.
The girl is absolutely beautiful without make up. Young, fresh, full of life. With the make up, she looks much older. Why?
Nothing wrong with looking older. Older doesn’t = worse. She is beautiful without the makeup, the make up is beautifully done. 🤷🏽♀️
Load More Replies...She just a smol woman. 😊 Mayyyyybe she would not LIKE to look like a little girl on her big day and feel more like a WOMAN. Tis a big problem with us little folk 😔 makeup is not a necessity for us to gouge out your eyes you pitiful judgers, however it does make us feel like superstars, and as a previous commenter said EXPENSIVE 😈
Good Lord, the woman has gone from a pretty girl-next-door to a porn star.
My dad used to wonder why girls would cover up their face just to paint on a new one. Couldn’t agree more after seeing these. I’m not certain these are really the same person in all of the before and after pics.
These women are beautiful without the makeup, and you can get a sense of their personality. There seems to be one ideal look the makeup artist goes for, because all the made up pics look similar, nothing distinctive.
It is strong on the Disney princess eyes. It makes women look younger and more "innocent" than they are. I don't mean purity wise, I just mean that there's something about youth almost to the point of infantilizing women.
Load More Replies...It makes HER feel beautiful on HER WEDDING day. You've commented hurtful things on all of these pictures. Maybe you should leave now?
Load More Replies...“In the Balkans, the wedding is one of the biggest events in a person's life. But due to the pandemic, a lot of them were postponed," he shared with us earlier how the lockdowns had impacted the wedding industry in the region.
You must use glasses right? Cuz it's hard to miss that extremely tiny nose. 😹 LOOK AT THAT! IT'S so TINY it's cute!
Load More Replies...I can see enhancing natural features but this make up changes them drastically! And they don't look like the same girl, yet they all resemble each other in the "after" picture...very tan, cheekbones, thick makeup to cover EVERYTHING not just zits, and super plump lips. It's their day though, so go on and do you!
It appears that this artist doesn’t think any of these women are beautiful. She completely changes their look. She doesn’t enhance their natural beauty she transforms them all into look alike plastics. She seems to have only one look she can manage. Not to mention she make every one’s completion darker.
In the story it says the brides pick the style by themselves.
Load More Replies...This is horrible. Why would you want to look completely different than who you are. You can wear makeup and look good without looking like a completely different person
OR MAYBE I LIKE LOOKING GOTH AND I'M MEXICAN. "MAMAAAAA! Get me my black face paint..."
Load More Replies...Personally the red lip is too dramatic,I prefer the more subdued lip colors. Some of these woman seem to have way to much make- up on and have had so much contouring that they look like a different person. That being said, Congratulations to all,may your unions be blessed and joyful for the rest of your lives.
The "after" photos all look like totally different people, and not for the better
Load More Replies...The normal photo face ratio and the made-up photo ratio does not match. Plus the head of the made up one looks too big for the body
That's a whole lot of pancake on this one and way too rosy. wow....this beauty before was a goddess..look at how beautiful her natural eyes and mouth are! Looks like a bobble head on the right :( Be beautiful in your own skin ladies...accentuate...don't replace
Someone told someone else to leave... 🤔 Laura...gtfo you old lady. You rub me the wrong way. You remind me of Daisy at the local grocery store. I DON'T WANT TO SAY HI TO YOU.
Load More Replies...Getting married soon, wonder if she will do me the same? scare my wife to be
Which of these 'before and after' pics did you like the most, dear Pandas? What do you think of the professional makeup artist's skills? Have you ever had your makeup done for a wedding by a pro? Share your thoughts in the comments.
It's like she's had five failed plastic surgeries. She's way cuter without make up
Let's paint over all her traits and give her a cookie cutter plastic surgery face.
So she also wears contact lenses in a different colour because that fits better to her new look? If I were the groom, I would ask where my bride is.
Did they spray tan her? Her skin tone is darker in the Kardashianified photo on the right.
Probably result of using ambient light in first and using flash in second. And possibly lifting dark colors in post process
Load More Replies...Mr Groom, marry the real girl, not the pretend one that will not last.
The make up job is incredible, but they are all look like if came from a Barbie-factory. They are look like the same. Why does it need to be the same look?
The woman were probably really happy with their makeup. So the artist did a good job. But personally I don’t like the instagram makeup style. In my opinion it doesn’t make their personalities visible. Which for me is especially important when you marry.
Imagine your intended turning around, taking a look and wondering if it's the same woman he proposed to! I think all these women should have gone for a more natural look as they are pretty without the 8 layers of goo on their face. The make-up artist just does a "copy paste" imho.
Load More Replies...So, basically humans are replaced with display dummies. Before: Women who look natural and all have individual beauty. After: Stepford Wives, everything human is hidden under pounds of glop.
99% look like plastic dolls. Their unique features get covered to look all the same Wtf I hate this trend
Not one looks natural... they all look out of caracter and alike. Not for me... to much. Way to much...
To each their own, I guess. For me personally, this would be far too heavy and I would be really disappointed if my make-up artist would reveal their work and I'd be so heavily made-up... I rarely use make-up in my everyday life and this would just not be "me". To my untrained eye it also "flattens" their faces in a sense that it takes away their personality/individual features and makes them more similar to each other, instead of enhancing the individual beauty. This is my point of view and my personal opinion though. If this is what they wanted, I'm sure they must be very happy 🤗
Personally I think make up should enhance your natural beauty not change the way you look completely! The artist is obviously very talented at what he does and all the women were happy with the results but for me they all just looked same and too heavily made up. I know my husband would've hated to have met me at the alter and hardly recognised me because of make up like this. But each to their own. It's just a shame women can't feel confident enough to embrace their natural beauty and just enhance it enough with makeup but still look like them.
Errr... Makeup, but also clearly massive filters on those "after"photos isn't it? I don't think makeup can make your eyeballs that white? 😅
It's a combination of the dark liner making the eyes look whiter, darling contact lenses, and probably those whiting eye drops.

Count me in, totally agree, this make up style is a FAIL. Lots of missed opportunities of accentuating individual features. And what's with the coloured contact lenses!
