Daughter Brags About How Good Her Mom Looks, Accidentally Starts A Viral Thread (33 Pics)
One daughter has made her beautiful mom Internet-popular in a matter of days. Recently, Twitter user @shipilkins uploaded a picture of her 43-year-old mother who looks nothing like her age, and it already has over 25K likes. After the tweet went viral, others started replying to it with photos of their own young-looking moms. However, it became clear pretty early on that this "beauty contest" will have multiple winners because these gorgeous, forever young "participants" look as if they found the elixir of life!

However, you could say their modern form came to be during the second half of the nineteenth century when women were frequently displayed in publicly staged events across the US. People need to stop acting like 40 is old and stop acting like 20 is an adult. An 18 or 20 year old might as well be four, because they have no concept of age because they are children. They shouldn’t even be part of the discussion.

40's are the new 30's. People are living longer and are more healthy.

Really all these people whose pictures haven't had the benefit of PhotoShop or filters look their age. They just look healthy and a normal weight. Go against those two 'rules' and you will look older than you are.

I think she would look younger and ever more attractive with the heavy makeup and with softer colors. I love, love makeup but please people, put down the harsh black eyeliner and step away from the "Sharpie" brows it's unflattering on almost everyone.

I don't know how to feel about this. On the one hand, its awesome seeing cool stylish mothers, but on the other hand, its like reinforcing the notion that youth and beauty (or at least looking younger) is the most valuable trait for a woman. I know we are a pretty superficial society, and its normal to admire pretty people (men too), but this post makes me kinda feel bad. My mum is 70 and has a weathered face and lots of wrinkles. She is beautiful because of the way she is inside and the way she carries herself-- everyone loves her, she gets a lot of attention from gentlemen, etc. But if I were to post here here to the scrutinizing masses, people would say, 'oh she looks her age,' etc, I dunno. It would break her heart to be judged that way. We're more than our faces and bodies.

I guess kids these days think you turn into a wrinkled, old, gray prune when turning 30? Most of them look their age and the ones that don't, use a lot of makeup, perfect poses and overexposure to look younger.
