50 Times People Had No Choice But To Take A Picture Of Their Miserable Fails (New Pics)
Not all days were made equal. You see, while sometimes everything falls according to plan, other days turn into 24-hour-long grueling benders that make you question why you even dared to get out of bed.
Blame it on bad luck, your daily horoscope, Mercury in retrograde, incantations, karma, or anything you want, but it doesn’t change the fact that misfortunes and fails do happen. Think of them as compulsory reality checks that remind us we are mere human beings with little to no control of greater things happening in this world. But philosophy aside, if we can’t change anything, at least we can have a good laugh at it.
Bored Panda has compiled this list of people having a worse day than you so you can feel slightly better today until your fail day comes, and when you’re done with this post, check out our previous features here, here and here with more failure.

After A Grueling Day At Work Without Food Where I Had To Wait 4 Hours For A Sample To Arrive Which Got Canceled, I Come Home At 7PM To Find All My Stuff In Garbage Bags
Turns out the cleaners my landlord sent cleared the wrong apartment.
It’s only human that things sometimes fall out of our hands. It feels like the world is against you for some unreasonable reason and to call it irritating would be a hefty understatement. But if we can’t change a bad day, we can always change the way we look at it. And here we’re going to need some help from a professional. So to find out more about resilience and the power of positivity, we spoke with Susan Petang, a certified divorce coach and the creator of “The Quiet Zone Coaching,” who teaches people how to stop feeling overwhelmed and start waking up happy in the morning again.
My Friend's Apartment Got Shot Up At 2AM By A Random Hoodlum
Now that should be at the top of the list! That is not only having a bad day. BUT.... almost getting killed, I got to say is a life altering 1!

The Only Path Back To My Room Blocked By Cute But Incredibly Angry Sea Lions
The first step towards building mental resilience is instead of viewing these unfortunate moments as "failures" or "misfortunes," view them as learning opportunities, Susan argues. She urges us to think of a couple of things: “What can we learn from this? How can we use this to become a better human being/worker/parent/partner?” and added that crucially, it's a matter of mindset.

Why Is My Watch Stopped? Oh
It turns out that some people are more naturally resilient than others. “But it's because they learned to think positively at a young age,” Susan said. “Our attitude towards life - the good, the bad, and the ugly - is formed before we go to kindergarten. Positivity isn't about putting your head in the sand and singing 'lalalala' when bad things happen; it's actually just the knowledge that we'll be OK no matter what,” the life coach explained.
Someone Broke Into My Car To Steal 10 Dollars Worth Of Candy And Toys I Bought To Give To My 4-Year-Old Students
"To whoever broke into my car. You caused $400 worth of damage to steal $10 worth of candy and toys from the 4-year-olds I teach. BRUH"

According to Susan, positivity and resilience are very closely related. “Positivity is the understanding and belief that you'll be able to bounce back from anything; resilience is when you actually do it.”If your day is going against the plan and you feel like you could blow up anytime, Susan shared some very useful insights on how to put yourself together and get back on track.
“I teach my clients to use The Power Questions. It's a great way to interrupt the spiral of emotions when everything is hitting the fan!” They are as follows:
“How important is this, really? Don't make mountains out of molehills.
What is something positive and constructive I can do about this? Be solution-oriented instead of blame-oriented.
What emotions am I feeling right now? By identifying and labeling them, we shrink their power over us."

"Time To Go To Bed. What Are Those Dots On My Wall? Oh. Oh No"
Just Baked This Cake And Ate One Piece, Came Back And The Dog Licked The Icing Off As Far As She Could Reach
Susan continued: "What would the person I want to be do right now? What would your hero do? How do you wish you could behave? Well, do that!
How do I want to feel at the end of the day? Do you want to be embarrassed that you lost your sh*t, or proud that you did the best you could in a tough situation?
How does this help me with my goal? What IS your goal right now, anyway? Revenge? To make someone feel bad? Or to solve a problem? Make sure your intention is positive, and do whatever moves you toward that.”
Bought A PS5 For My Son’s Birthday. Someone At UPS Swapped It Out With A Rock
Are you sure it was UPS that did this? Wasn’t it actually the scammer you bought it from (have seen a lot of this posted online when people get “bargains” from sketchy sellers).
Often it is a professional theft ring operating in the warehouse.
Load More Replies...I doubt that. More likely you bought it on a third party site and got scammed. Happens literally all the time. Like Wish or AliExpress.
While it is possible that they did buy from a third party, sadly UPS drivers have been caught stealing in the past. Here is one example. https://fox59.com/news/ups-driver-accused-of-stealing-over-100k-in-jewelry-valuable-metals/
Load More Replies...My husband would've been so gutted if this happened to him - took me ages to finally get him one
As a gamer I can confirm that this would damage my soul. P.S. I am glad your husband finally got his system!
Load More Replies...And I'm sure UPS will think *you're* scamming when you report it was delivered that way. I'd hate to have to deal with that.
It happened to me when I got the (at the time) new Samsung Galaxy S10+. Fortunately for me, the driver was dumb. They kept entering in the system that they attempted delivery, but there was video evidence showing they never walked up to the house. After 3 of those "attempts", when I went to pick up the package at the facility, I opened it in front of a worker, and there was a rock in it installed of my phone.
Load More Replies...Look this may seem bad but rocks are cool you can have a pet rock or break the actual PS5, etc... so many more uses than a silly PS5
where was it ordered from I'd blame the shipper more then the shipping company.
I ordered my ex an expensive gift from Sharper Image. When it arrived, the box had been opened, and inside were several smaller boxes addressed to other people. I was guessing that may have been done to make up the weight of the Sharper Image item, as it was insured. I can't think of anyone it could have been except the delivery company, and I hate to say that, because delivery people are my unsung heroes.
I don't know, that looks like a large chunk of nephrite, AKA jade. Maybe sell THAT for the PS5?
Happened with me when I got the Samsung Galaxy S10+. 3 days in a row, the driver claimed to have attempted delivery, but the address has a security cam and he never showed up on it. We held the package at the facility for pick-up the next day. I opened the package in front of the worker, and there was a rock inside instead of my phone. Fortunately, my friend was there to calmly handle the situation, because I was figuratively fuming. In the end, UPS did nothing extra other than confirm the incident with the carrier, and the carrier sent a replacement phone (for store pick-up) but they also gave me Galaxy Buds for free.
Did it get sent just in the PS5 box? That seems like the fault of whoever sent it.
I really don't know why this, or some of them, are here. This post is about people's fails, but neither this one, nor some of the ones I saw before this, have to do with fails on the part of the person who posted. This one is a fail on ups and the person who stole opie's son's ps5. They should go to prison for that, and double time since one, they stole from a child, too, they stole something that's incredibly hard to get already.
We sent a box full of Alaskan gifts and a photo album to my Husbands parents in Ohio for Christmas and when it arrived at their house someone had broken into it and pulled everything out and replaced it with cans of potato soup, I know the feeling
This is a problem with any delivery company that contracts their name out to private third party companies for “last mile” delivery. In some areas this applies to UPS & nearly all areas to FedEx ground. The legality behind your contract of carriage is iffy when it comes to these companies. For example, when something is shipped via FedEx Ground, your contract is with FedEx Global (the company) and not the rinky d**k shipping logistics company locally doing business as “FedEx Ground.” Any issues that arise between Grpind taking possession and your doorstop isn’t privy to your contract of carriage and only state/jurisdictional laws are applicable. Which usually doesn’t cover identifying where on the chain of custody the theft happened and leaves your only recourse with the shipper & your consumer laws regarding this. It’s a great out for shipping companies. Side note: DHL & OnTrac don’t use these loopholes to negate responsibility.
Couple of years ago a friend of mine bought a playstation for her son on ebay. She really had to keep her money together. So this was a big investment. When it arrived it was just an empty playstation box. She could not do anything against it since the seller wrote in the small print of the description that buyers bid only for the box of the playstation. In very small letters..very hidden in a long text. F*****s..

Susan also reminds us to always ask ourselves what lessons we can learn from this. “Sometimes it might only be that you're a Battle-Tested Warrior and managed to survive, but there is always something. Search for those positives. Focus on those,” she concluded.
