These Spaghetti Have A Pretty Clever Barcode

I KNEW it had to come out of Germany. They sometimes use much longer barcodes, to make the scanning process easier and faster. A barcode doesn't have to be small little square code like we have here in the USA. Visit any German owned Aldi grocery store here in the USA, and you'll see many many long barcodes like this. Okay, well, maybe not with the spaghetti, but darn, how cool IS that? VERY VERY cool!

Fun Fact: the scanner docents scan the black lines it scans the white. Most people know this apparently but I have no idea!
