Sri Lanka is an amazing place ! In september 2013, i traveled in this country. I discovered exceptional people, who were simple, courageous, and friendly. I have never seen such poverty and at the same time, such a simple happiness. This people can be satisfied with nothing, whereas we, on the other side of the world, we need all, without never be happy so far. This trip will learn me a lot about the sense of life. Thank you Sri Lanka !
I made theses photographies using a Panasonic Lumix GH2, with lenses 25mm, 14-140mm,100-300mm and an indispensable monopod Manfrotto (5060B-1).
I wanted to capture each instant of life, each exceptional moment that I shared with this people during 3 weeks. I also immortalized the beauty of nature that marks this wonderful country. Sri Lanka has had to face a hard misfortune during the tsunami, and today, we can see and feel this pain in the landscapes yet. Please take as much pleasure in watching these pictures that I had to take it, around these exceptional people.
