And teaching your kids, mentoring them, spending time with them, answering questions, challenging them, working with them so they can grow and learn and become independent adults who are hopefully fair and hard working and kind. Or that other stuff you wrote.

I once threatened my little sister that "I have a tongue, and I know how to use it!!!" It got her to stop bugging me.
