2010 – Multidisciplinary artist, designer and welder Michelle de la Vega based in Seattle, took an old garage and transformed it into a lovely 23 square meters home.
The result is amazing and the concept, even more. Michelle De la Vega gives an affordable option to people who may not be able to work with a dedicated architect, but who have a taste for good design and want access to a Mini House model.

Despite the great looks and cozy atmosphere, it seems necessary to add that the house is decorated with Michelle’s own art instalations. Perhaps the most touching aspect is that the glass boxes housing pillow forms are a tribute to the artist’s father. Displaying his old architectural drawings, the pieces add a personal and lovely touch to the décor.
Sooo, not bad for a $32,000 investment, right?!
