We make choices every day. Some of them are easy, some not so much. Now, what would you do if every decision was so difficult that no option felt like the obvious pick? That’s exactly what this “Would You Rather” poll is about.

You’ll go through 31 tricky dilemmas. In each of them, you’ll have to choose between two options. They might be weird, frustrating, or just impossible. But there’s no in-between in this poll—you have to pick a side, no matter how unfair or ridiculous the choice may be.

So, ready to make some tough calls? Let’s get started! 🎲

I don't need much to be happy. As long as I can buy food, pay the bills and afford the odd trip to the movies and a few simple holidays, I'm good.

I don't care about tons of money if my mental health is taking it's toll. A job I hate would likely get me fired or driven to quite fast. I'm used to being paid min. wage. I'll take happiness for $1000 biweekly, Bob.

I had a good-paying job with an above-average salary, but my managers were only focused on their own advancement. We had to make them look good, and I just couldn't work in that environment anymore. After more than twenty years, I finally had enough. I turned to my love of reading and became a bookseller. The pay was lower and the hours were part-time, but the stress was gone. I was finally happy and smiling. There's a job out there for everyone; I just wish I had realized that sooner.

Rewind. Then I'd go back to 2019, make my friend Sian go to the doctor's sooner, make my friend Margaret get her shingles vaccination and lose weight and get out more, and throw out that bloody picture that my dad was trying to hang when he fell. Now I'm wondering what I'm doing or not doing that will need the rewind button in my future.

I was trying to fix my toddler’s closed eyes in a photo. Tried photoshopping his own open eyes in as well as fixing it with different ai apps. The results were terrifying. Not because it looked bad but there was something disturbing about my son looking like a different person. I would not want to experience that every day in a mirror.

I hate the sound of my own voice. Whenever I hear it (in a recording/video/etc.) I die a little inside. My mom forced me into acting when I was a little kid, and I had to go to a lot of acting classes where they would film you performing a scene with someone else, and then at the end of the class you'd have to watch your own scene while the teacher tore into you. I think that's probably where I started hating the sound of my own voice. XD

I wrote a story about a guy who can talk to animals. He volunteers at the vet and talks to people's pets, passing on stuff like where does it hurt. If the pet has to be put to sleep, he tells the poor thing what's going on and passes on farewells. One old dog tells him to tell his owners that "tired now. Go to sleep in sky now. Love humans and will love while sleeping in sky". I cried the first time I typed that, and I'm crying again now - it was inspired by my friend's dog who was old and sick and was recently put to sleep.

Definitely uncomfortable truth. Considering it took my family 18 years to tell me I was diagnosed with autism at age 3, I would have much preferred to find out a lot earlier. Obviously not at age 3, but as soon as I am an appropriate age to understand.

An uncomfortable truth for the most part. A comforting lie would be, say I was on holiday and one of my cats has died... I'd prefer to be told eveything is fine back home. Otherwise my first instinct would be to book a flight home early. It'd ruin my break, it'd be stressful and pricey when there's absolutely nothing I could do anyway.

As a person who was abúsed as a child in every possible way you can abúse a child, I've already learned how to forgive, even if I cannot forget. I don't need my mother to acknowledge what she did, or to apologize, or to even admit that it was wrong (she has done none of these things) as I finally realized that I am the only one holding onto the caustic emotions that were only causing me more pain. My mother already didn't care about what she did and continues to do. However, I haven't forgotten - and she IS 80 years old... she's still hale right now, but she won't be that way forever :3

Empathy I’m a white witch it goes with the territory, I might be housebound in the sticks n not a fan of people bar my kids I prefer animals ! I am empathetic!! very it’s a curse lol oh n intelligent people never have any logic or common sense so in the real world they are thick as lol empathetic people have logic have common sense n that is far more useful than being intellectual!

The part of the brain the processes speaking and the part that processes singing are actually separate. People that have had brain damage to Broca's areas (of the brain) can sometimes communicate by singing.

I'm surprised how close in percentage. The dancing could be funky or subtle (steps, tap, moonwalking etc) and not really bother anyone, plus it'd keep you fit and nimble. The singing would annoy the sh!t out of everyone around you, you'd be alone and bored. Bored enough to do little dances in your house (well that's what I do at home anyway haha) and so you may as well choose dancing.

Hate takes so much energy to sustain. I used to feel it a lot more when I was in my teens and 20s (as one does, I suppose.) Then I realized I was only damaging myself with feeling it. My mother and sister, however, somehow seem to be able to literally power their life-force entirely through hate. I don't know how they do it.

My dad was in a coma for 6 months. He suffered so much muscle atrophy in just six MONTHS that no amount of physical therapy or occupational therapy was able to surmount it and get back what he lost. He had so much atrophy in his throat/swallowing muscles that he was unable to eat/drink safely via mouth and eventually had to have a feeding tube put in. Being in a coma for a decade - even with the passive "therapy" that nurses may do, your muscles will atrophy and your ligaments will tighten, potentially to the point of no return.

A million right now is too much and can drive anyone crazy. Maybe not yourself, but a friend and family member that cannot deal with the jealousy, and then things can get ugly. Five thousand is manageable, can make a significant difference in everyday life and it can go unnoticed for longer.

I'm too much of a pessimist. Give me a million bucks now, I may not live more than a week!

Well that’s a no brainer lmao 🤦‍♀️weekly obs n my math never maths 😂but like in uk 20k would be tax free cos you,d won it heheh so 20 a month bring it on !!

Depends on 'how' you won it. I believe in the UK, you can pay the tax on your 'stake' and no tax if you win, but if not paid on the stake, then it's taxed. However, this is not a 'gambling' question and therefore tax would probably be due.

$5k a week if you budget your money well. Luckily, I make $5 a week and eat dirt since it's free.

I really think this depends on how hot the summer gets and how cold the winter gets.

Endless summer is just living in the low latitudes. As someone that lives in a high latitude and already experiences 1/3 to half a year of cold weather I'll take the heat.

An endless summer only with the $5000 a week. Summers are humid and brutal where l live and AC is expensive. Otherwise winter

With 5000 a week, you could get some solar panels and a battery for the house as well?

most people chose summer, which is reasonable, but i live in the central valley of california, where summer temperatures average about 108-110 degrees. id fully embrace the winter and say gtfo summer

i would hate a world without color, but i would hate a world without music much, much more. still a tough decision, tho.

As someone who loves to draw and make art, I would lose a part of my very core if the world lost color. Shades of gray are not nuanced enough. I would mourn the loss of sound, but I do not need sound to enjoy books or enjoy the love of my pets.

I couldn't answer this question as I routinely do both. I go to the shops for something specific, get distracted and end up buying anything but what I originally went to the shop for.

Forget what you need - because that's situation normal. As for buying dumb things I don't need, that happens when I forget my nose cancelling headphones and get too distracted by everything.

I'd rather forget what I need, since I can't afford it anyway, so forgetting would be RELIEVING
