Different face. I avoid mirrors since forever because I never liked what I see. That would be such a relief not having to see my own face every day

I could get through the day without talking if I didn't like today's voice. But I can't imagine seeing someone completely different in the mirror every day. I've spent 6 decades with this face, gotten used to it, even grown to like it over the years. It's my armour.

I can translate any human language, but being able to actually speak to animals would really be something special.

My friend rescues dogs from Romania. I dont want to hear what they have been through. But just try to give them love,patience and kindness

I'd like to be much more specific with my memory erasures, yes, please. As it is now, I've wiped out far too much of the happy stuff surrounding the bad stuff. That one day was pretty crappy, but why did I have to forget the whole year before it happened?

I would rather hear an uncomfortable truth. I hate it when people can't give me an honest answer to a straightforward question. All I ask is that people be straight with me.

I've spent enough years of my life being force-fed "comforting lies" that I find them completely unpalatable now.

I hate both, but decided I hate uncomfortable truths less.

An uncomfortable truth for the most part. A comforting lie would be, say I was on holiday and one of my cats has died... I'd prefer to be told eveything is fine back home. Otherwise my first instinct would be to book a flight home early. It'd ruin my break, it'd be stressful and pricey when there's absolutely nothing I could do anyway.

The second choice doesn't make much sense. You would forget whatever event would require forgiveness, but you would still not forgive what you can't remember?

I’ve been told many times in various therapy sessions that forgiving is more about allowing yourself to move on with your life, and not at all saying that what the other person did was ok.

I do forgive not forget. We cool and im going to move forward but i know what you did.

I do forgive but trust me I,ll never forget it EVER ! n karma is a dish best served ice cold so that one !

As a person who was abúsed as a child in every possible way you can abúse a child, I've already learned how to forgive, even if I cannot forget. I don't need my mother to acknowledge what she did, or to apologize, or to even admit that it was wrong (she has done none of these things) as I finally realized that I am the only one holding onto the caustic emotions that were only causing me more pain. My mother already didn't care about what she did and continues to do. However, I haven't forgotten - and she IS 80 years old... she's still hale right now, but she won't be that way forever :3

A lot of people think I'm kind of a doofus, but a lot of people also think I'm a really nice person so I don't mind.

Empathy is emotional intelligence. So I get both.

Empathy I’m a white witch it goes with the territory, I might be housebound in the sticks n not a fan of people bar my kids I prefer animals ! I am empathetic!! very it’s a curse lol oh n intelligent people never have any logic or common sense so in the real world they are thick as lol empathetic people have logic have common sense n that is far more useful than being intellectual!
