Have a best friend who’s brutally honest or one who always tells you what you want to hear?
Save one endangered species from extinction or have the ability to talk to animals?
I can talk to animals right now. it's just that they don't talk back. Except my cat who repeats, "Feed me," or "Put it in writing, I'll get back to you."
Not having a choice or not knowing what to choose?
I have ADHD. Sometimes I go to bed hungry after over an hour of staring at my shelves and in the fridge, unable to make a choice, and eventually decided "stuff it, I'm too tired now". 😢 It's also why I eat a lot of linguine - I have an automatic glorified rice cooker machine that I set on the "boiling" programme, throw in the pasta, come back later when it beeps at me (sometimes, sometimes I get distracted on the six metre journey between living room and machine 🤦🏻♀️). It's much easier to deal with stuff like that when there's very little effort or concentration involved. But, on the other hand, if it's something that my mind enjoys, I can focus on that to the point of fading out everything else for hours on end, only breaking that with the inevitable "ohmygodIgottapeerightfuckingnow". 😪 It's fatiguing as I what and where my mind applies itself is highly random. Like, I'm reading this because I've been looking at the code I'm trying to write for the ESP32 and...I just can't today.
Participate in a dating show or a survival show?
Spend the rest of your life stuck indoors or outdoors?
I only go out to the store or for important reasons like an appointment at the bank. That's why I really didn't understand people who were freaking out about lockdown: if I were rich enough to have an assistant to do my grocery shopping and stuff, I would probably never leave my home.
Donate your body to science or donate your organs to people who need them?
There was a recent scandal in France when bodies that were donated to science were discovered having been left to rot for years. One guy explained it was hard enough to accept not having a real funeral, but he knew it was his mother's wish to help science, so it was really traumatizing to find out her body had just been dumped in a corner. (Some bodies also ended up as car crash dummies instead of being used for medical purposes, but I guess it's a bit more acceptable.)
Be unattractive and have an attractive partner or be attractive and have an unattractive partner?
If there was a "neither" option I'd have gone for that, personally. I'm not 10/10 looks; nor are a lot of people. Personality's more important to me, so if they make me laugh, I *actively* want to spend time with them, etc... that's more important than them being stereotypically attractive.
Cover for a friend’s crime or turn them in?
Stupid question. A friend who stole food to feed their child would be quite different from a friend who unalived someone.
Achieve your biggest career goal but lose all your current friends, or keep your friends but never reach that goal?
Live without any entertainment (movies, games, books) or without social interactions?
Never be able to use your dominant hand or only be able to walk backwards?
Your non dominant hand would then become dominant so how would that work?
Travel to the past and risk altering history, or visit the future and know your fate?
Have the power to stop time but age twice as fast, or never age but be stuck in a single moment forever?
Rather depends upon the moment, doesn't it? If you're stuck reliving that car crash, school shooting, whatever... you'll rapidly regret the whole never aging thing. But if it's a moment when you were truly happy, that can be doable.
Have access to classified government documents or the ability to influence global stock markets?
Be someone who laughs all the time or someone who makes others laugh all the time?
Clean your toilet with a toothbrush or cut your grass with scissors?
D**n, I should've picked cut your grass with scissors. It doesn't say how much to cut. One snip, done. Cleaning something takes time
Bungee-jump from a bridge or parachute from a plane?
Drink Coke without bubbles or eat stale chips?
Have feathers in your armpits or fingernails instead of teeth?
Always agree with everyone but secretly disagree or openly disagree with everyone but secretly agree?
Always agree but secretly disagree - isn't that just "how to handle management"?
Too bad there wasn't also a profile generated based on the answers you chose.
Yes, some of these would vary wildly by age, I suspect.
Load More Replies...Hypothetical situations can be highly illogical, but that's part of the quiz's charm ;)
