This young man is going to turn out to be just as great as his Father, how I still miss him. He was my idea of a "Man's Man", I'm a Man too but I envy Steve and I believe Robert is going places and doing things with his life.
This is the very best Humpback Whale photo ever!! Way to go Rob, way to go!!
first look, i thought it was crashing waves. then i saw the whale. BRILLIANT
I love the one with the snake ON the camera: "Dude! Take my picture!"
YASSS You have done good in this world Robert and I am proud of you
Amazing shot! Shows the beauty of nature... but most of all shows the dedication of a patient wildlife photographer. The exact opposite of our Instagram culture.
It is! It is a Bird of Paradise! What a beautiful picture! We'll hear a lot more about this young man and his photographs!
Be still be very still and watch my eye and you will start to get sleepy.
this is beautiful what a fascinating place the ocean is that turtle is beautiful
This is stunning love the detail you can see in the feathers. Would like this on my wall could stare at it for hours.
Glorious and dramatic! May these images ensure the continuation of species. Without such photos, should the species fade from existence, humans will be reminded of the devastation they caused. As such, perhaps these images will help humans to wake up and protect, instead of rape and plunder this planet.
inserted caption "omg your steve irwin's son? im just a big fan!"
Alll of these photos show the Beauty of 🐾All Animals 👍 Thank you for sharing
Another photo I could stare at for hours draws you in.
"One bite from this snake can kill 100 men... I'm just gonna tickle its balls!"
That lizard is like.. "leave me alone", and birdie be like "wtf, this food can talk"
Haha almost exactly wha I was hearing in my head (the lizard said "don't eat mee!" but bird exact same!) XD

It's moments like these when I'm proud to be an Australian. Soooo cute!:)
A real conversation piece the detail he gets in his photos totally amazing no wonder he's won awards.
...and in that darkest of nights, the kind with no moon, one thousand birds took flight. Off to who knew where, I only wished, I could go with them...
I'm sure there's a 'Saltie' waitin' for one to fall outta their nest.
Oh! Most regular, and some pros, do not get the picture with the whole wingspan. This is amazing! 😉
You must have been a bit on the bitters yourself mate, you couldn't make up your mind as to make him a leopard or just a Graffiti mess.

Oh, I'm lonely, I am so lonely...lonely lone..on my own... anybody????
It's sad to think with all the hunting and poaching in the world that wonderful creatures like this are being wiped out and if not careful it will only be stunning pictures like this that mankind will have left to remind us of what we did/let happen!!
You'll find the public transportation system here differs greatly from those in the big city. We have no seats, hanging straps, or rails to hold. So keep your balance and pray you don't fall off.
Boyo! Your father would be amazed and so proud of your beautiful work 😱❤️❤️
What gorgeous creatures we have on earth! I hope that they are still here when Bob is as old as I am! I'm 71.
Who just ate the last photographer so your in luck that he is full.
Load More Replies...Dinosaurs did exist...and they still do, they're just miniature versions of themselves!
"Whoever told you that dragons were not real, needs to be hunted down and gutted. For we are mighty fire breathing gods. Were just not in our full form, if we were you would die of shock."
Here in the States, the smaller bird would be called a 'Redwing Blackbird'. pretty.
There are a number of species of smaller birds that, apparently, have no idea how small they are. There are a number of species of larger birds, apparently, that have no idea how big they are. (Red-wing blackbird chasing osprey.)
Load More Replies...One day my love, you will know, that life is, wild, and we, are wild with it...
Sooo Much better on the animal rather than a rug or a throw can see life in this.
Nope. Right lens, right camera, right settings = magic.

What a talent, his dad would have been " Made up" and I'm sure his mum is.
Look at those beautiful crevasses on the shell. I would love to have a mold of this to paint. I do love tortoises, turtles.
Okay you made me look closer to what you are talking about and I DO NOT Care for snakes of any kind. Terrified really.
Load More Replies...I saw a pic of a boa recently that had all his heat vents open and it looked like a skeleton.
Yes more snakes please. Snakes are gorgeous and photos of snakes are perfectly safe.

"Ancient Tortoise proverb: Those who wait long enough will be the first to spot humans acting stupid."
Someone previously commented "nice hair", he's gathered friends and brought them back for more. lol
I'm sure that's a brown snake, really aggressive and I think in top 10 worlds most poisonous.
I know it sounds hokey, but, after all, humans are only recent an ''invasive species'' to Australia (assuming that is where this guy is from). Therefore, it behooves these invaders to try to co-exist with the native species as best they can for everyone's benefit. Not sure I'd be comfortable there initially, but I'm certain the beautiful places everywhere would win me over ! p.s. I think this guy is awesome......
It amazes me how the brain puts all that visual perception together and makes a picture. I wonder how it looks. Does the spider choose which eyes to see with then switches to another set? Or, do they all see and and the brain maps it altogether for a panoramic view that we can only due with a camera or smart phone. Food for thought.
I'm still not looking at the picture! LOL!
Load More Replies...If Steve were able to speak from beyond the grave, I'm certain he would hold no resentment what so ever towards the animals that caused his tragic end. He died doing what he loved, an unfortunate victim of circumstance. His son does an amazing job keeping his legacy alive, and in that sense, Steve Irwin never died.
Not exactly. This is a manta ray in the photo. A sting ray killed Steve
Load More Replies...Bird, outdoors- flying thru the air ... make that, about to land.
Load More Replies...Me too. I think a lot of people from North America and Europe don't have a clue about all of the species in Australia! There are many pictures that I would need identified!
I agree with E. Rice, more info pls. And is that a Taxi bird? lol
"And Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii will always love yoooooooooooooooooooooooooou!"
yellow-bellied black snake (common tree snake)...Dendrelaphis punctulatus
Could be a Black Mamba, the fastest snake and one of the most venomous !
Frankly, I'd probably be the kind of idiot who would leave out dog food and feed these dingoes, thinking they were stray dogs... :\
You're no kind of idiot, just have a big heart....and nothing's wrong with that !
Load More Replies..."Yo, I'm Brutal Kvlt McCaw, and I'm here ta drop mah new Death Metal album."
Not a bearded dragon but looks like it is from the 'dragon' genus, very similar but as Sharon says no beard and the head scaling is not that of a bearded.
Load More Replies...All the reptile pics are great! No, ALL the pics are great! Beautiful work!
That airborne one... Is it an adolescent bald eagle, or a different species altogether?
It's a juvenile eagle. I'm guessing this was taken just outside of Haines, Alaska.
Load More Replies...First time I ever scrolled through to the end...fascinating photos.
Mr. Irwin, you've displayed some beautiful work, your photographic prowess is outstanding. Thank you for sharing.
These are incredible, of course he has many more opportunities and access to funds and fancy equipment than other kids his age and that has helped, but I was impressed to see some real genuine talent here as well. Well done!
Gears are fact added to the beauty of the shot. BUT how he composed the images are above how a normal photographer or people can take. He has the eyes for beauty, skills to put it on photograph and that is really amazing! keep it up kid!
Load More Replies...Wonderful eye but please; labels? Makes me crazy not knowing what things are and what he caught them doing.,
Yes, he has a nice camera and the ability to travel, but you can't buy the kind of patience it takes to get these kinds of shots. He really does have talent.
While some of his shots are good, who can afford that camera? I am a photographer, and I would love to have that camera! Plus, look at where he lives, and the chance he has to see those kinds of animals, I can't travel the world, or even Australia for that matter, or I am sure my photos would win awards too. They are good, but, sure he has had alot of help. My 8 year old granddaughter can take some really good photos, would love for her to have a camera like that.
Stunning photos, Robert Irwing deserves that award, normally I never take the time to click through all the pages of a post on Bored Panda, especially because some posts have 80 or more pages because everyone can add a photo here, but here it´s been worth clicking through all 10 pages, each of the pics´s fascinating!!!
I seen a lot famous kids become spoiled. But this kid is a good kid, and I know his parents raise him in a good way and positive vibe.
These are utterly amazing. He is only 12, 13?? The depth of maturity in these photos is incredible
