Woman In Her 50s Gets Told She’s “Too Old To Dress Like A Teenager” – Responds With Her Outfit
These days, expressing yourself and proudly being who you are is most often celebrated. After all, we all value authenticity and appreciate people who, no matter what others think, stick to their real selves. The social media influencer Lonni Pike, who runs the blog Gray Hair And Tattoos, is precisely that—a stylish, charming woman covered in tattoos who is “loving life over 50 and owning her style.”
While Lonni is on a mission “to explore the world with laughter and a never-ending smile,” she also loves dressing up in cool outfits and her 375.7k TikTok followers are totally loving it. But she’s no stranger to mean comments, either. And after someone wrote her “you’re too old to dress like a teenager,” Lonni replied with a smashing response video on her TikTok.
In honor of “dressing like a teenager,” Lonni pulled off a killer outfit featuring Dr. Martens, cute little jeans, and a tucked-in t-shirt. Lonni’s clip was watched 1.8M times, so let’s see her inspirational message to everyone who has the smallest seed of doubt on what others would think, right below.
People have been praising Lonni after she responded to haters saying she’s too old to dress like a teen with a viral TikTok

Lonni Pike, a 56-year-old stylish social media influencer, seems to be living a life many people would be jealous of. She has 29K followers on her Instagram page, runs a successful blog, and posts widely popular TikTok clips to her 377.2K followers. She now has amassed 3.6M likes on the platform alone, which seems like she’s a real old-timer there.
But it turns out, Lonni only started her Instagram page this year. “I get a lot of positive response from people appreciating the fact that I’m not afraid to show the world who I am,” she told Viva Fifty.
The first tattoo came into Lonni’s life when she turned 30. “I was in a bad marriage and we were separated for a time. I got barbed wire around my ankle because I felt trapped and helpless. This was the beginning of my journey to let the real me out and be who I wanted to be.”
And for those wondering if her tattoos have affected others’ perceptions of her and had a negative impact on her life and work, Lonni is straightforward. “I have a great job, I carry myself as the professional I am and considered one of the top in my field so no, I don’t think there is anything negatively impacted.”
Always smiling, Lonni became an inspiration to many people who believe life slows down as you get older. She hopes to inspire everyone to be what they want to be, and not care what others have to say. “I would love to show people that you can be yourself without the fear of what people might think. The freedom to let the inner you out for the world to see,” Lonni explains.
The influencer says she never judged people for their lifestyle and would love to help spread the word on acceptance of everyone. And as for critics, they have no place in Lonni’s life. “I don’t give anyone the right to respond negatively to me in any area of my life. My life is my universe and critics are not allowed,” she told Viva Fifty.
Lonni’s happy personality and stylish daily outfits have won many hearts on social media

Imagine being so salty in your own life you feel entitled to tell other people how to live theirs and what they should or shouldn't wear.
@Amelija Janavičius Sounds like you have some personal problems and need to talk to someone about it.
Load More Replies...I truly don't care what I'm wearing, so I absolutely cannot conceive of caring what a random stranger wears. It's so completely alien to me, even if I try...
Too old for tattoos? She should have said "honey, I was getting tattoed before you were born. Now go before my doc martens find your butt."
It's not like her tatts are going to vanish magically over a certain age either!
Load More Replies...Yup. I definitely still dress like I did in my teens and twenties. I'm 43. I also have green hair, tattoos and piercings. Don't see the need to change just because of my age.
If we would listen all strangers 's opinions, we would cover ourselves with winding sheet and start to crawl to the direction of nearest cemetery at the age of 40. With short cut hear, of course.
I run estate sales and we always laugh about the weird old lady clothes. Holiday themed sweatshirts with pumpkins or hearts or sayings about grandkids. ack! why do some women decide to wear that stuff?! My Business partner and I aren't young(59 and 65) and we just can't understand it. It's like becoming a sexless old crone on purpose.
I agree that people should wear what they want, but just because an older person feels like wearing "old" clothes and wears silly sweaters does that make them sexless? And if they are sexless so what? Theres more to life than that. I think this woman looks awesome, but I don't get why we need to insult others to lift her up.
Load More Replies...If this is the case~ GUILTY AS CHARGED! Put me in jail then. I'm 60, and my purple-haired butt just got my order from Torrid clothing which includes spandex leather-look leggings and high heeled goth boots with buckles and rivets. 60 is the new 30-40. You are as young as you feel! 136979154_...494bde.jpg
Right? You probably have another 20 years on this planet, might as well rock em.
Load More Replies...Well, she does dress like a teenager and she absolutely rocks that look too
There's no law stating that once you reach a certain age, you have a dress a certain way. Yet some people seem to think there is. Personally, I have no problem with the way people dress.
I'm 42 with blue hair, funky clothes, a nose ring, and tattoos. I don't see that ever changing. Let your freak flag fly folks!
First, she’s not really dressing like a teenager, more like a somewhat younger adult. Second, what’s she supposed to wear, a muumuu? A shroud? A shawl? I mean, she’s not covered in infantile Hello Kitty clothing or anything like it. She’s merely kept her look relatively up to date, as opposed to those who never changed their hair, clothes, and makeup since like 1982. Third, it’s only clothing. She’s not having plastic surgery (or if she is, it’s incredibly subtle, though I really don’t think she is), or paralyzing parts of her face by injecting botulism (Botox) into it—-in fact, it looks like she’s taken great care of herself, as she looks really good for her age. Lastly, the key to being youthful your whole life—-notice I didn’t say young, as there’s a definite difference—-is maintaining a youthful attitude, instead of stagnating and risking becoming obsolete. Keeping that youthful outlook will show in your face, and make you appear much younger than your actual age.
We all get older. It’s inevitable. Instead of trying to look 20 forever, we should take better care of ourselves, and age gracefully and with a youthful outlook on life. Besides, a 50 year old can’t compete with a 20 year old down on the 20 year old’s level. The 20 year old will always win. Because they’re 20. But the 50 year old will leave the 20 year old in the dust if they compete up on the 50 year old’s level, because the 20 year old will always be 30 years behind. Never only skate by on looks. They fade, and younger models are always going to replace you. But taking care of yourself, plus developing your personality, your intelligence, your wit, opening your mind instead of stagnating, and being kind and considerate will make you incredibly attractive to everyone your entire life—-with no expiration date. (Had to use reply space to complete my point, sorry.)
Load More Replies...Remember, those of us in our fifties could potentially be "old school "punk rockers... ( like me 54, still wearing whatever the f*ck I want, thank you very much)
She dresses amazing! I'm over 60 and french tuck my shirts as well, wear combat books, leggings, thumb rings and have long hair!! And wouldn't have it Any Other Way !!! Anyone who has negative comments need a life!
She is literally wearing jeans and a t shirt, how is that a teenagers outfit? Wth is she supposed to wear? Plus, this outfit is In her generations style! If she doesn't have the right who does? Social media has made ignorant people super loud. She looks beautiful and carefree.
I love the way she looks.. I’m 72 and wear jeans and Tshirts and I have 1 tattoo. I could never see me in so called old people clothes. I still feel young and like the cute clothes out there.
Im 51 and fat. Yesterday's outfit was a Betsey Johnson swing mini dress with fishnet patterned stockings, short boots, long necklace and a fierce ring and makeup. Dont you dare tell me I cant dress that way because the more you tell me that, the more i'm going to show up in a tutu and a tiara.
My 98 year old grandmother is one of the most stylish people I know. She can pull off any look. Me, I would look like a prostitute in some of her outfits. She has a shoe closet, accessorizes, even wears fishnets! But she looks fabulous! Age is a number, and she got to 98 by never and still "not acting her age."
Thankfully, I was taught early on by my Mom not to care about the opinions of people I didn't know or people who had no impact on my life in any other way. The people who know and love you have opinions worth considering (but you don't have to accept those either if they don't fit you).
I'm a Gen X and get asked what people will think when I'm old and have visible, "wrinkly & faded" tattoos. I say I'll fit in with thousands of others my age. I love em & don't care what others think. Same with my clothes, I'll ALWAYS wear jeans and a Tshirts.
This is the first time seeing this woman, but oh my. She looks so cool! I love her sense of style and honestly her confidence is shining. She knows she looks good and I don’t understand why people feel the need to tell other people how to live and express themselves. Y’all should live and dress and express yourselves the way you want, like she says, cause she is beautiful and all of you are beautiful.
Telling a person to dress their age isn't too different from telling a person to dress like their gender. Bad bias is still bad bias. I admire her and like to grow up like her. I'm in my 30's and rock a hoodie and jeans. The only time I dress up formally is just for work and those work clothing are cozy btw. ;J
I'm a grandmother of 10 & 2 yrs old, goin to be 55 next month I have a tattoo but it's my eyebrow, I wear girls outfit and I got compliments...never heard this kind of comment, so far...to me I wear what I like as long as decent or classy
She looks fab. She is slim, well groomed and beautiful. Anyone who says otherwise is just plain jealous.
I wore a lot of rainbow on the first day back of school. I didn't give a f**k
I feel the same way and I do!!! 👍🏼 I'm 70 and still dress like a teen!
In my experience there will always be ppl who judge you for a myriad of reasons, no matter what. We all need to learn how to deal with it, it will make life a lot easier. You can change your own mindset but you can't change other ppl.
I'm 66yrs old and definitely wear what I want to wear I don't care what nobody says because don't nobody dress me but myself. And I pay for my own clothes
I'm 40 and have dressed the same since I was about 13, metal and punk, I don't know any different and it certainly isn't going to stop anytime soon, plus the many hours and many pounds spent on my extensive tattooing is always going to be showing. This lady is cool as f**k.
i love this! i also love the point one of the tweets said like "once you hit a certain age, well, time to transition to florals" that's hilarious
My Mam tried to get me to wear florals when I was 16, my answer was "you bought it, you wear it", I bought and wore what I wanted and still do! DSCF2551-6...253c34.jpg
Load More Replies...Ya know, people are going to be snarky no matter what you do, so do what you want.
She's stunning! I love her bubbly personality & "no f*cks given attitude". 56 isn't old anyway.
She is absolutely beautiful and an inspiration! I am turning 48 yrs in a few days, and I still dress like the same skate punk I was as a little kid ... I still skateboard sometimes as well when I get my groceries :D I dngf about how other people think about this, & it keeps me happy, youthful, and engaged with my kiddos.
I am so confused on how she dresses like a teenager (not that anyone should have an opinion if she did) but she's literally wearing jeans and a tshirt, in the style that was popular when she was a young adult. I'm in my 30s now but I'll probably wear my high waisted skinny jeans until I'm 80 years old. Although people don't even like it now lol, so who cares
I specially like her tattoo sleeves. Why Someone so cool like her would wear bored clothes. Age appropriate clothes don't exist. Exist age appropriate behavior.
My grandma wore short shorts into her 70s. Never gave it a second thought. But then, my cousins mom dresses and poses like a teenager, in a way that sort of oozes the attention seeking insecurity of a teen. So, On one hand, it’s like you should do whatever makes you happy, but on the other, I’ve definitely been put off by a certain type of “clinging to youth” I’ve seen before. Feelings about age and behavior can be complicated.
At 50, I bought bright fluorescent orange and yellow outdoor shoes and clothing. To the office I wear teal, fuchsia, mint and sky blue shirts - colorful but not shouting. There is enough grey when commuting and in the office.
Back in the sixties I wore tight black (almost like) jeans. Long trousers with a zip at the back and zips at the ankles. Think Beatnik. I wore this nearly always except when pregnant. and for a brief period in the seventies when wide legged pants and platform heels were the rage. Then reverted back to my old style. And then out came Grease. And then out came stretchy long pants. MY STYLE! Now of course they are called yoga pants or some other name, but I don't care, because now I have a large supply of my style. The only thing I have changed is my tops, I now prefer longer tops mainly because of body issues. So go for it. Forget age, be comfortable , and keep a bunch of snarky comments in your head for haters.
Oh my. So funny. Obviously whoever said she was too old to dress like that is not living in current times or is in her 20's and thinks anyone 30 & over is old lol. Women in their 50's are not old lol. Look at Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez and others. They certainly don't look like they are in their 50s or act like it either. People are living well into their hundreds now. Middle age doesn't even start until early 50's. People dress a lot younger than their age and have very young personalities. Even people who are in their 70's and 80's act ten to fifteen years younger. Heck people are even having kids in their late forties. The men I know who are in their 50's, act like they are in their 30's. Times have changed and things like this are not the way they used to be twenty some years ago.
50-something here, no tattoos. Good for her! I still wear t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers, whenever I can (as I have done since childhood).
The real issue is, teenagers who want to dress like her cannot afford to or just cannot pull it off.
At 43 I dyed my hair pink and the next day ran into a friend who said "Oh my God! What did you do to your hair? It looks like something my daughter and her friends would do." For about 5 seconds I thought 'S**t! Did I screw up? Are people gonna think I look ridiculous?' And then I remembered...I did this for me. Having pink hair made me happy and f**k what anyone else thinks. I also decided that I hate pants so I started wearing only dresses. For way too long I was worried about what people thought of me and I wasn't really very happy. I honestly don't even like to look at old pics of myself cuz I immediately think...that's not me. That's not how I look or who I am. For my 45th birthday I got my first tattoo and for my 46th birthday I got another tattoo and 5 piercings. I think that is definitely the plan for my 47 birthday.. 🤗
Hey I think you look great. Keep doing you. I don't see anything wrong with the way you dress. I think it's great
Which things do teenagers think they own here? The T-shirt? Tatoos? Doc Martins? Heck I still have Doc Martins from the 90s.
I'm 80 and have always worn what I liked -- I still do. I LOVE bright colors, they make me happy. I don't pay attention to whether people notice me or not. BTW, I got my first tattoo when I was 75!
The silliest part of the negative comment is that it is totally ignoring the fact that she looks fantastic! I'm 15 years older than she is and I hope I never dress like an old man!
She looks fabulous - and who the hell has the right to tell anyone else how they should, or should not dress! Bloody cheek.
I feel that when someone says, "You are to old for that or to wear that," what it really means is that I pushed that persons boundaries and expectations so far from their narrow view that they are having trouble coping with life. I feel kinda sorry for them in this age defined by change. How will they be able to survive?
Wear whatever you want! It's a free country! You must be really pathetic and boring if you have nothing better to do than critise. This woman slays!
Shows that teenagers must see tattoos as temporary. The headline made me think that she might be dressed like Lady Gaga when she is just wearing boring jeans and a t shirt which have been around for decades. My Uncle is pushing 80, he would have got his tattoos in the 60s and nobody cares as he is a man. Jeans first became fashionable in the 50s, we would not have been seen dead in them during the 70 and 80s punk, goth and new romantic period, as our parents wore them. Shame teenagers cannot find their own unique fashion now and think ripped jeans and t shirts are unique to them.
She is so bubbly! There should be more of that kind of joy going around! I have art in my bedroom that probably fits a teenage boy better than an almost 30 year old woman. But who cares? Everytime I look at it, it gives me a surge of joy. I imagine her outfits do the same for her!
Wear what makes you happy and feel good! I don't understand this weird "societal" rule that dictates how someone should dress at a certain age. Oh, no-- I'm in my mid thirties, I guess I have to grow my hair out and stop wearing the punky clothes I love! I remember going to some of the larger clothing stores when I was younger and being baffled and just how ugly and shapeless the clothing that was being marketed to "older women" was. I vowed that I would be caught dead in frumpy jumper with a little bear on it or some dowdy shift. I know plenty of older women who dress so creatively and beautifully.
I follow Lonnie on Tick Tok & adore her, as a 49 year young GenX'r she is my twin flame!!!
the most offensive part of the critic's tweet was the superfluous addition of "just saying"
A guy in his early 50 once told me, "I'm freaking out. My wife has started wearing Crocs and those sweatshirts with glittery animals on them. Is this like a post-menopausal thing? Is it an obligatory grandmother thing? She used to be rather stylish. She suddenly looks twenty years older."
Oh, and bravo to the woman in the video for rocking the gray hair. A friend had to stop coloring her hair because of the pandemic and she actually looks younger.
Load More Replies...I'm just wondering if she's single, near me, maybe would like to get a cup of coffee sometime? We could show each other our tattoos...
thing is,each generation, historically has its own style that defines the era,but these days, kids wear clothes that that defined the style of the older generations.the reality is that younger people are dressing like their grannies, and they should maybe create their own defining style or else..i dunno, admit that the are lamb dressed as mutton
I think being overly concerned about what other people work is a sign of insecurity. A sneaking feeling they look better than you...
I'm 70 years old. I dress like a modified hippy, just as I did in the 60's. People tell me I dress like the young people. But I was dressing this way before their parents even met. They're dressing like me, I'm not dressing like them.
I was once told by a gal that I was to old to wear my hair long, I was 40 at the time, now I am 63! Theresa-in...3c-png.jpg
She looks amazing!!!!!! The sluggish commenter was probably jealous she looked so great and couldn't rise to this woman's style.
I expected to see her wearing booty shirts and one of those little house on the Prarie crop tops Britney Spears wears. Instead, she's dressed in ordinary clothes. I don't get it?
When I saw the title I thought she was going to look like the teens around me. Ratty, no color coordination, and too sexual. Nope. She looks great and carries the style well.
I think Lonni Pike is a really neat Lady! I think she is absolutely right. I am 74 and I am going to get a small tattoo of a red fox on me because I have always wanted one. I do not dress my age either.
She seems like the art teacher we all wish we had(slay queen)
I think she looks fun ! Beside teenagers nowdays.look like genx did in the 90s .. so weird
Good on her! She looks awesome. How dare sad little people tell her how to dress! Why do low IQ folks think that at a certain age we must all be wearing cardigans & pearls? I will be wearing my tight jeans and sexy heels until I die. And I will look damn good in all my outfits.
"You are too tall to dress in that colour!" The most stupid thing someone have told me. I'm so tall that I will never go unnoticed, even if I try. So I prefer to dress myself colourfully and shine like a star.
Me aged 54. Granny dresses? I think not. And you have not even seen my tattoos yet. IMG-201907...eb7695.jpg
In my 60's and still wearing tye dye and bell bottoms...along with skinny jeans, cute graphic tees, assorted Chucks and Rocket Dog Sneaks, fringed and non fringed moccasins, distressed sweaters and jeans etc. And my first tattoo was in 1974, not done yet.
I am 57 and my sis is 63 and we both dress very similar to her. what does age have to do with anything. My Mom is 85 and loves fashion. People can be so close minded.
Unless you believe in reincarnation, this is the only life we get. Just the one. I don't want to be on my deathbed thinking : "Gosh, I wish I would have tried harder to please everyone".
Teenager? I also walk around in Docs like those. And wearing jeans and a t-shirt is considered teen clothing? I don't get it. Looks fashionable to me.
I met the cutest lady at a salon once, she told me her name was Neptune and she was wearing ripped jeans and a tee shirt, she looked about 80 but had a youthful vibe.
meanwhile in my 20s and i dress like i'm 17th century grandma xD no offense to them, still finding my own style tbh
telling women what they should wear... how's that any different from Taliban?
She looks absolutely amazing!!!! Gorgeous, lovely, sexy, beautiful and with a figure to die for! I salute you lovely Lonni! And as we say in Scotland - tell your haters to DO ONE!!!!
She looks great! I'm on her side - I'm 73 and buy all my clothes on line and all on sale, making sure I check the juniors department before I leave the sale! And my hair is long and will NEVER be short! I ALWAYS look good! No one believes I'm in my 70s...
I just found a NEW kind of hero! JUST what I needed! Thank you!❤❤❤ ♡(o⌒.⌒o)♡
Just be yourself! It's your choice and dont worry what others say. What others think of me in not my business. At the end of the day as long as I am happy.....
im in my 30 now.. and im probably gonna wear 90's and 00's stuff untill i'm old..
Bruh have we seen mariah carey, who still gets her boobs done and she’s like 50 something, do we just discriminate between celebrities and non celebrities? Why...
She's extremely pretty. I expect she's always gotten a lot of attention, welcome or not. Her instinct is to continue to dress as she always has, and that has always brought her positive reinforcement. More power to her. On the other side, I can picture her dressed in beautiful sophisticated garments as well. She'd be a great model for companies like Anthropologie, J.Jill and Soft Surroundings.
If I were to have that figure, that radiant smile, and glowing complexion when I’m in my 50s, you had best *believe* that I’d be rocking fabulous looks every day...! 😍😍😍
I'm 46 and I have never felt more confident or empowered in my life. You look wonderful! Be proud and be strong. Live your life!
I can't understand why anyone would criticize her clothes. [I wish *I* looked that good!] I'm 63 and I don't get criticized for wearing "young" style outfits [and having LONG auburn-dyed hair- at my age], so, why would anyone criticize her?? Like, L8r H8rz.
I am a similar kind of person, wearing what I want, and I will be 62. Who cares what anyone thinks? I am not out to impress anyone with what I wear! Ever! Be you, because I, am being me... even if all I may wear one day, are my pajamas!
U have great personality , cheerful ..ok let's be honest ..yes when we are old and dressing up like teenagers 🤣🤣🤣 maybe we look embarrassing, ridiculous ...and so what !!! ur life ur way ur fashion do whatever u feel that will make u happy !!! Enjoy life to the fullest !!!❤🧡💛
I'm 56 and have always worn what feels comfortable and makes me feel good, not everyone agrees but idgaf. Life's too short to try and please everyone ,just please yourself, id love her figure but im a gypsy at heart and love the freestyle fashion
I don't see the problem. I'm 56, and that's pretty much how I dress. I have tats as well. And piercings. Why would anyone else care how I dress?
I am a lot older than her and I still dress this way I love my jeans and pants and Tshirts and tops. I wear a dress now and again when the time and place call for it. That people can howl someone down for dressing as she is comfortable and suits her , bloody ridiculous. ! They should just get a life. and while I am at it who says teenagers own the styles they wear. Most of them are wearing what I was wearing 20 or 30 years ago. What is the difference. I still wear what I have and I do not change for anyonr.
I am 57 and I love fashion as much as I ever have and l absolutely dress the way I want. No one will ever tell me or persuade me to dress otherwise. Especially like an old lady,
While I dress as appropriately as I can for public and private events ( don't need to be the center of attention), when I'm on my own I wear whatever I feel like wearing. And I certainly wouldn't presume to tell someone else what they should be wearing unless they actually asked me.
If this was my grandma/mom and later ME, I would be proud AF.. she looks amazing and her face is full of light ...if you're gonna hate on that, you are probably a miserable insecure piece of work. I think if we're gonna have a movement against body shaming, age shaming should be there as well.. And she's in amazing shape, looks healthy (which is more than I can say for some of the questionable body images being promoted which are neither of those things).
Yesss Lonni you rock! You said it perfectly well. No one should ever judge or tell you what to do with your life :D I'm 42 and will always wear what I wore in my younger years. You keep going :) proud of you
Funnily those clothes just about suit her. But, if she really wants to look young, then I would suggest nappies and a dummy, and not forgetting the compulsory teddy bear. You go girl. Long live mutton dressing like lamb. Yeay!
it adds some inner peace for my future feeling if i see people like her. sad to say she has to be brave ... should be seen as normal. who says it´s alright to wear just beige and light grey?
Everyone has the right to dress as they please, but I must agree, it's a bit too young for her. I'm in my 60s if you're wondering & the tats have nothing to do with it.
She's lovely, however I get sick when I see those types of tattoos on anyone.
Just cos a munchkin can't come up with her own individual look. Don't they realise that jeans and tee shirt are going to be the twin set and pearls or floral dresses of us Boomers? I will wear J&T till I die, and I love DMs. Just turned 59
I'm 67 years old and dress anyway my body allows me to and still look good. I'm not dead yet or planning to die anytime soon. As long as it's not immoral, I like dressing young. Life is meant to be enjoyable and happy. As long as what I do doesn't hurt anyone else then why does it matter what I do or how I dress. A person's image of themselves can have a huge impact on their longevity and happiness.
Things To Do Today 1. Take dog to vet. 2. Pick up dry cleaning. 3. Pay car insurance. 4. Check and return emails. 5. Tell random strangers how to dress.....?
You are very beautiful 😍 woman. Don't change your style or your life for anyone. Dress as you like and do as your heart desires. They will always be someone that has issues with everyone and everything. Be you, Be true. You only live once. Laugh your heart away, Love to the fullest, Live like you never lived before. I am so proud of you.
You are my hero Lonni keep being yourself. Love you. People should not be so mean.
She dressed decently, chic and youthful. She is living life beautifully
I'm a 54 yo female and still wear jeans and sports tshirts almost every day. I also wear band tshirts and muscle car tshirts. My jeans have rips and are as low waisted as I can get. I'll never wear pull up pants and flowery blouses
Live life to the fullest! Outfits don’t go to Heaven! The lady isn’t dressed like a playboy centerfold so leave her alone
She's beautiful and she looks amazing! I think that she should continue to wear what she wants to wear as she wears it really well! What do the critics want older people to do - curl up and die? Never gonna happen! Age really is just a number.
Good for her.. Why should we care what others think.. Im 57 and wear what makes me feel comfortable and happy expressing myself... No one will tell me what not to wear.. She's winning it and looks amazing... Jealous comes to mind... Keep expressing yourself..
This is going to happen more now as the teens of the 60's and 70's were the ones that didn't dress like their parents, we are not suddenly going to start dressing like our Grandparents now!
My life's mine! If I respect everyone, How I dress or do with my life is only my own business! If you don't have a "life" because your husband, kids, people around ya, can interfere and tell you "what to" or "what not to", and for satisfying others you're letting your time pass by... Well... Let me tell you... Those loved yours ones & that people, are already living their lives... Yours counts! Wake up! Wear what you want to wear! Living your life is the best way to show you love yourself and your love for others will be more trustable.
thry are just jealous about how this woman rocks teen clothes even better than the teens themselves YOU DO YOU!!
I'm 51 and I wear many of the things she is. I don't give one f what others think
Good for her. I was doing Doc Martens back in 80's and 90's and Hello Kitty came out in 1974, so actually get an original idea, "teenagers". Jesus the stupidity people spew.
My Shero! And once again representation matters. You are beautiful and I am so happy to have a person like you expressing your best self. I hope I can do the same in 4 years.
When I go into the office in my everyday clothes I get a few looks. I am 45 and am never not going to wear Converse, Adidas and graphic tees.
I'm about to turn 40, and still wear my hair in bright red pig tails, the same way I have since my early 20's. I'm not going to wear dumpy middle age lady clothes. My piercings and ink would look weird with that.
She's hot! I think we'd be pals because being comfy and cute is more important than "looking our age", especially since we have fun instead of "acting our age" - whatever THAT means!
That is why the world is the way it is people. Some humans don"t want to grow up, Like Sodom and Gomorrah . To much express yourself
That is what is wrong with the world today human expressing too much of them selfs Sodom and Gomorrah
Thing To Do Today 1. Take dog to vet. 2. Pick up dry cleaning. 3. Pay car insurance. 4. Check and return emails. 5. Tell random strangers how to dress......
All the more reason to show them, as early as possible, how wrong they are. No need to give those views time to become entrenched and, let's face it, that does happen with some. Nip it in the bud.
Load More Replies...Imagine being so salty in your own life you feel entitled to tell other people how to live theirs and what they should or shouldn't wear.
