Russian Artist Creates Adorable Mini Felt Animals And Here Are 30 Of The Best Ones
Anna Romanova, a Russia-based artist makes just about the cutest felted animals you've seen. By using felting technique, she turns loose wool into adorable pocket-sized brooches and toys you can't get your eyes off.
"I make unique wool felted toys since 2010," Anna tells Bored Panda. "When I started, it was [only] a hobby, I really want to make my friends happy so I [made] toys for them," the artist says. After she started sharing photos of her work on Instagram, more and more people were interested in her smiley animals and her hobby slowly became a business.
Anna says that usually, she chooses sheep's wool to make her charming little animals and special needles that are used for felting. "When I make a toy, [it] usually takes from 5 to 14 days, depending on the size and type of work," Anna tells us. "I don't like making copies of real animals, my toys have my own style, you could see it if you look in their eyes."
For those wanting to buy her artworks (of which the most popular are the tiny foxes), she warns: "You can find a lot of scammers on Alie Express and Taobao who are trying to sell my works like was theirs." So head on to Anna's Instagram or Facebook if you want to purchase these amazing felted creatures!

I find the color so unique. It's slightly darker. I love these the best like you said. Very well done.I'm a true fan.

You're killing me! Each one SO different, how do you do it? I would love to talk to you, do you have a web sight, that I can talk to you on??? I'm not a creeper, just a genuine fan!! I love your work , particularly, Fennec Foxes.
Absolutely adorable. One sees so many of these little felt animals around Easter, Christmas, etc., but I was never tempted to buy any. But these however, - these are the best I've ever seen. How do I know? I would buy them!!!!
All of the little ones were adorable and the product of a wonderful artist you are very talented and the eyes are beautiful and sweet there is nothing more beautiful than your work you have displayed! Congratulations!
That is the cutest hamster, I hope you are sending him to some deserving buddy, for him to play with, or put in his pocket..
Oh my goodness, I love black kitties! Of all shapes, and sizes, and this is so cute!!
What a sweet little, Fairy.. I love the nose, and the tiny ears, and I love the mismatched feet, and the great big eyes!! She is a keeper for sure.
Adorable, and suitable for, a little girl at Christmas, or Birthday. Any time really, and not just little girls, big girls or boys, for that matter..How can you get past those big blue eyes?? So sweet.
Don't forget me. Just because my colors aren't as bright, I have merit and value. I love people..I'm, I'm, just beginning, but I can learn real fast. And before you know it, I'll catch up to them, and maybe, get some wings..maybe, if she makes me some, that is...Please???
Oh my word, those look just like my rings, do you sneak into my jewelry box, and get my rings to show on here, you adorable little thing, you??? :D
She is indeed an artist with the felting needle. These are so well made and absolutely delightful.
Never fails to amaze me how gifted some people are in creative ways...
They're so cute 😍❤️😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. The foxy ones are the cutest ones though.
While your animals ate cute, it is not cute how the wool industry treats sheep - in unbelievably cruel way. Poor sheep suffer immensely their entire lives and then they are shipped alive to Middle East where they are heinously slaughtered. Many will die of thirst and hunger on this journey of death. Have a heart, Anna, please use a different material. PLEASE!
These are exceedingly cute. I'm guessing the pocket ones are brooches, carefully placed. There are so many very talented artists in Russia and the surrounding countries.
Bravo are these artworks available for sale, perhaps a portion of the proceeds can be used to help animals in need?
God if only all of these animals were real... they would all be so DELICIOUS
A cruel, insensitive, heartless, senseless, imbecilic, isn't it Giovanni? FYI: all the previous corona viruses and, of course, COVID19 are man-enabled!!! ..... enabled by men like Giovani SANCHEZ. "Humans are easily the cruelest animals on the planet. No wonder they call it the descent of man." - George Carlin
