China is vast and diverse - you can find green lush tropical forest / desert / mountain

So desolate yet peaceful-looking.

No the color of Kanas lake is Turquoise due to glacier

That would be an unexpected sight tucked into such a rugged landscape.

Maybe I need some scale but I can't understand how people access/ farm these terraces. I realize its been done for centuries but are the crops worth the effort?

These fields are so beautiful I just want to linger and study their construction.

That water looks like glass... how beautiful! So different from the reddish hues of Big Muddy and its tributaries.

Ooh, I know this feeling. Walked across America years ago and the vast wild spaces made me feel so connected to the planet and its energy. No words to describe the profound joy of being immersed in nature. Solitude is a learning experience.

Wonder what it's like to live there.

From all white to all red. I've never seen monochrome cities before.

Just for a moment, imagine witnessing the geologic forces that lifted, folded, twisted, and eroded this landscape.

Ooh, I'd love to go fly fishing here.

That... that's scar from a massive landslide, is it not?

The all white buildings give this a fairy tale quality.

Is that water, and are the buildings hanging out over it? Doesn't seem like they'd end so abruptly if it was land.

I could live here. Away from cities, crowds, traffic.
