Some friends just suck your life away.

Dreams. Sometimes they are positive and floating. Sometimes they are negative that you want to hide from under the bed.

My immediate feeling is that father is with a new family, and she's the daughter from divorced family wanting father's attention. My second feeling is this is on the street; the man is a potential predator and girl's face in the window is someone seeing danger.

This makes me think of all the different "selves" we project for different people, in an attempt to hide and protect the real inner self.
