Life's a (beautiful) struggle. And since we face hardships every day, the question is not how to avoid it — we can't — but rather how to cope with it. One thing that might help is reminding ourselves that we're in this together. Nobody is exempt from problems. Big and small.
To do just that, let's take a look at the Twitter account 'Struggle Tweets.' Its content is a bit hard to define and often prompts the question "WTF?" but if I were to describe it in a few words, I'd go for "funny", "cringy", and "weird."
From a poor man's meal to a surprising relationship turn, here's a collection of posts you didn't know you needed.

Refusing to be taken down and laughing about it on Twitter is actually not the worst way to cope with life. Far from it. According to the American Psychological Association (APA), people react differently to uncertainty and those with a higher intolerance for it may be less resilient and more prone to low mood, negative or down feelings, and anxiety.
The organization also provides these simple steps that can help you feel in control:
First of all, be kind to yourself. Some people are better at dealing with uncertainties than others, so don’t beat yourself up if your tolerance for unpredictability is lower than your friend's. Remind yourself that it might take time for the stressful situation to resolve, and try to remain patient with yourself in the meantime.
You can also reflect on past successes. Chances are you've overcome stressful events in the past, so give yourself credit for it. Reflect on what you did during that event that was helpful and what you might like to do differently this time.
Also, work on developing new skills. When life is relatively calm, it can be a good idea to try things outside your comfort zone. From standing up to a difficult boss to picking up a hobby, taking risks helps you develop confidence that comes in handy when life veers off course.
Limit exposure to the news if you think it's affecting you. When we’re stressed about something, it can be tough to look away, but compulsively checking the news only keeps you wound up. Try to limit your check-ins and avoid the news during vulnerable times of day, such as right before going to bed.
Let go of things that are out of your control. When uncertainty strikes, many people immediately imagine worst-case scenarios. Try to get rid of the habit of ruminating on negative events.
Furthermore, ask yourself: if a friend came to me with this worry, what would I tell her? Imagining your situation from the outside can often provide perspective and fresh ideas. Trust your gut!

I've done this before. It was my guy best friend asking me for relationship advice for him and my girl best friend. I'm dead.
Engage in self-care. Don't allow stress to derail your healthy routines. Make conscious efforts to eat well, exercise, and get enough sleep. Many folks find stress release in practices such as yoga and meditation.
Seek support from those you trust. People tend to isolate themselves when they’re stressed or worried but social support is important, so reach out to family and friends.

This is not a spoiler, because it happens in the very first minutes of the movie, but still, if you don't wanna know anything about the movie you should stop right away. Heck, you should have stopped at the "This is not a spoiler" part.... You've been warned! Alright, you do know that the dog isn't really dead and it's alive and well right? You know how movies work, right? :)
As mentioned before, focus on the things that are within your control. Even if it's something as simple as meal planning or laying out your clothes the night before a stressful day. Establish routines to give your days and weeks some comforting structure.
However, if you continue to have trouble managing stress and coping with uncertainty, ask for professional help. Psychologists are experts in teaching people how to develop healthy ways of tackling stress.

Exactly. This gatekeeping of certain thing just for being white (more often than not done by white fake woke people) is absurd. A haircut is a haircut and it belongs to all humans. Or should people with dark hair be banned from dying blond? People with curly hair not allowed to straighten it. Or people with straight hair not able to curl it.

I don't believe in policing hair styles. Like dreadlocks, white people had dreadlocks throughout history. Double buns show up in black culture, Mexican culture, Chinese culture, Native American culture, etc. Honestly feel that borrowing from other cultures is a huge benefit of interconnections, like sharing foods, adopting traditions, styles, etc. Why do we have trade in the first place? It is to exchange goods and practices.

I am so f*****g sick of this hairstyle bullshit (and cultural "appropriation" in general, most times its actually APPRECIATION). Take braids for example? Vikings wore f*****g braids, the celts wore f*****g braids. They were white. Certain asian countries wore braids, plenty of european countries wore braids. It's a HAIRSTYLE and what someone does with their hair isn't going to harm a person regardless of their skin colour. A hairstyle isn't even CLOSE to racism, it's not like a girl wearing space buns or braids is going to suddenly join the KKK for f***s sake.

Pardon my ignorance but I dont get this at all. I have hair. I have long hair. There are so many rules on how to wear my hair. I am not allowed to braid it a certain way. I am not allowed to dread it. I am not allowed to wear buns (from this post above) but its hair. Braids are awesome. Small braids are awesome. But, you get these people that say educate yourself. I am on how to make my hair cute and out of my face.

I'm very well aware of cultural appropriation but those "space buns" or how they are called are definitely not a prerogative of black people. Just like dreadlocks or braids aren't. From Scandinavians to Ancient Greeks, many cultures sported dreadlocks, elaborate braids, lateral buns and so on. That being said, I'm very aware of the discriminations that black people had and still have to suffer about their hair ("not professional enough", etc...) but at a certain point some battles are more damaging than productive. For me it becomes quite risky, you know. We tear each other apart about a trivial technicality while we don't fight for much more vital matters. But i don't know, I clearly talk from a point of privilege, being a Caucasian European myself...

Also give up any foods not native to your local region ( appropriating food / culture) , dont go out into the sun if youre pale( youre appropriating skin color) , and of course if youre not serbian or American youll need to give up your wifi and cell phone as well ( appropriating technology ).

This gives me rage, like when ppl shouted cultural appropriation at Justin Beiber for wearing dreads. Not even a Beebs fan but I was like let the boy wear his hair however and leave him alone! This cultural appropriation mislabelling has gone too far. I wore traditional skirts and long braids as a white woman in Africa and got nothing but compliments from the locals, they were even happy I enjoyed their common styles so much. Not once did anyone say I shouldnt dress like that or wear my hair like that b/c Im white. I swear some ppl are so bored they're just looking for a cause to get behind that isnt even a cause!

I always assume the kids wearing these are Disney fans and emulating Mickey and Minnie. Those little double buns have been common in Japan and China for decades, if not centuries, so claiming them solely for Black hair is ignoring many of years of hairdressing history.

It seems that in America there is a prejudice against natural and traditional black hairstyles, which is crazy. So anything that breaks this prejudice, such as white kids adopting braids or computer games like the one above, is a good thing. Not as ideal as society just saying 'you know what, wear your hair how you want, that's ok', but we know things don't work like that, so anything that normalises black hair do's so that eventually no-one even thinks to comment negatively on them has to help.

Appropriation only matters when you are making money off of someone else's culture and thereby taking a sale that should have gone to someone of that culture. For example, a non-Native American making and selling jewelry, beadwork, or pottery with designs that are specific to a tribe and their artifacts. Many communities depend upon sales of their native crafts so anything made and sold outside of that community by non-native people is essentially counterfeit.

So BP cropped this badly. OP used a big chefs knife to TRY opening the can, apparently they didn't have a can opener, cut a hole in the center rather literally any where else to get decent leverage, and couldn't open it more. So the stuck a tiny straw to get the sauce because they can't get anything out. Basically this is fake anyway.

I get the impression there's a very vocal and select group of people who feel bad about being white (understandably, I live in africa and can see the devastation of colonialism first hand), BUT the way they deal with it is, instead of coming to countries which were colonised and pillaged and helping with their hands to ACTUALLY do something for brown folks, what they do is pose, preen, and attack people on social media, trying to be as spectacular as possible in their outrage. Nevermind black people NEVER APPOINTED THEM as their official spokespersons in the west. African people are quite capable of saying what we think of whites if it is required. You know, with liberation movements, BLM, etc..
