We’ve all had that crappy starter job. Where you put up with with horrible bosses, co-workers and sometimes customers. Self described ‘socially awkward’ artist Kristie Lane, online name Ristay, has published one of her autobiographical style comics again, but this time to share the “infuriating, stupid and odd odd shit” she dealt with as a Papa John’s delivery driver.
These stories are so crazy one would think they are partly fiction but Lane writes, “All of my stories are true, though I obviously exaggerate the facial expressions. I only wish I looked like a cartoon.” Scroll down below to check out her hilarious manga-inspired comics of her adventures!

The tipping system sound like hell and the company should provide you with the vehicle and the gas
In rural areas like that, some companies at a 15% service fee to the bill automatically.
I took a second job in our local (rural) delivery place for a while. They charged a delivery surcharge, but the drivers were not paid the delivery surcharge.
@Shari H Are you serious!? The audacity!
Maybe but do they give it to the driver
I'm in a big city, and all the pizza companies around here are charging that extra 15% anyway, PLUS the delivery surcharge! They're all within a mile of our house, and the way they add it onto the check makes it look like it's the driver tip. We actually had to call one of the shops to confirm that it wasn't a tip. Now we usually just pick up, but if we do order in, we make sure to tip on top of all the extra fees. I think the companies are adding all those fees on because they're fighting to see who can get away with charging the least for their pizzas; it's crazy how low the actual prices can be. Six bucks for a large with all the toppings you want? Who can stay in business with prices that low? But it's never the delivery person's problem that the company is charging extra fees. They're usually just someone young, trying to earn a bit in a crappy job for not much money.
the tipping system is absolutely horrible. The whole idea of the delivery charge is to make sure the drivers make enough, before tip because they know a lot of people don't tip, that the driver doesn't pay for the delivery. Strikes me that in Alaska with a 30 mile delivery radius that delivery fee should be at least closer to $5. That being said, MOST people do tip, and delivery drivers tend to make decent money as a result. I did, but that was some time ago
and a salary for faks sake
The customer's pizza will be more expensive.
Things are often over-priced not because they are worth more but to make up for the cost of mismanagement. If you create a business that runs like a well oiled machine your people are loyal and efficient and you can afford competitive prices without screwing over your own people.

People that lie basically do not give a toss about the person they speak to, just to try and get you in trouble. Like above and also lying about you because they can not get their way. The customer is always right? Yeah, a right a**hole.
the ending though.
Yes! That phrase did it for me! :)
That really tied it all up
