Sometimes, though, their graciousness is pushed to the limit, and it’s then fun to see their responses. The Reddit community r/Stolendogbeds showcases all the cunning culprits who’ve kicked dogs out of their comfy spots, as well as the reactions of our canine friends.

❤️❤️😍😍😂😂😂😂we have wild deer out in the farm land behind my house out in the sticks bar from the fact I don’t have dogs house mine sleep in side on my bed n sofa I’d give anything to find this 😂that said I have poly tunnels n deer do get in my garden lol watch this space one thing I will say ikkle dude needs a blanket n food hehehe

I love cat's. I adore them. They're incredibly smart. When put time, love and effort into them. . You do become their whole world with so much love in their hearts. They act like toddlers though with their siblings, yes. All my cats have had these immense personalities who are very interactive with other's. I have a cat who walks with me without a leash. He literally waits outside the store for me and we walk home together. He just loves a pet pet from anyone who passes. He saves the eye kisses for his mama though ❤️ 😍 They're my children. I don't have actual kids and can't even deal with plants but I can take care of and love a kitty cat.

I loved every cat I've ever lived with, but they could be real a-holes. A couple of my cats used to tease the sweet boi next door who I adored. And being a good boi, he never retaliated, even though these little hellions needed a swift kick in the butt.

As you can probably tell from this list, most of the dogs who’ve been kicked out of their beds have accepted their fate. They don’t seem to be fussing about the situation, and neither should we! The 115k members from the Stolen Dog Beds community on Reddit love sharing hilarious photos like this and have been doing so since November 8th, 2011.
What you might have noticed from their pictures is that many of the recurrent dog-bed thieves seem to be cats. It’s actually a known fact that kitties like trying out different sleeping spots, even if they’ve been given the comfiest bed to lie on. It’s a bit hard to control cats, so pet owners might struggle to keep their dog’s sleeping area off-limits.

My husband acts this way with the cat's. He'll let them just be extra spoiled rotten. I don't. I won't. I remove said kitty from my spot and put said kitty into one of their many spots I have made them. They have a giant bed from Costco with heating pads active on it for winter 👌 🙌 plus 4 giant cat trees and other hammocks and baskets. Yes, I definitely without guilt remove said kitty from my one spot. I'd probably get another dog bed and replace that one little cat bed in the picture shown. Cats like nice big beds too. Mine have giant dog beds. They all didn't like the cat beds. I have one small cat bed but it's placed on top of the kitchen cabinets as a little get away space. They have many options. I mean honestly.. they won't even touch kitty sized tents. I gotta buy full toddler style tents. A cat needs more space than a dog with all their stuff to feel happier and content. The smaller the space the more you need. Mine are indoor and I make sure the apartment is set up for them to be very active and comfortable. They run back and forth fast climbing each cat tree and kicker them. My apartment space is 550sq ft.. if that. 😆 🤣

They're both dog beds in the picture - some dogs like their beds snug and some like to spread out. One of my dogs curls up tightly, the other lies sprawled on her back with her paws in the air. The trick is to have a few beds, I've found! Then let them sleep where they want. Only downside to that was one dog liked random patches on the carpet and in the end we had to get a nightlight so we didn't step on her when going to the loo during the night!

I think dogs are not very good at discerning relative sizes, which is why the chihuahua down the street used to come running out to attack my boxer, until he got close, realized what he was attacking, and ran away yelping.

The helpless pups on this list seem to be looking on while their comfy spot is taken away. As pet owners, it’s important to try and get the situation under control only if you notice that your dog seems to be uncomfortable. In most of these cases, the animals seem to be enjoying having company but there are certain signs you can look out for.
Experts say that if your dog seems to be restless and shifts around the house a lot during nap time, it might signal some sort of discomfort. If another creature steals the pup’s bed and the dog vocalizes more than normal, paws at the spot, or keeps returning to the area, it might mean that it wants its spot back.

I tell you what, anyone who believes that dogs don't have and express emotions has never spent 5 minutes with a retriever. Looks like the pup is just a baby herself. She looks like mine did at about 6-8 months.

A box turtle wandered into our back porch. None of the dogs would go past it to get out into the yard. They just barked at it. When I walked over and picked it up, the look I got from them was, well, astonishment seems about right.

Everyone needs a safe space to relax and unwind after a long day. Turns out even our four-legged furry friends need one, too. For some of these pups, their dog bed might be that safe spot for them, while other mutts might have their own secret corners that they like running off to. It’s important for pet owners to create such a place for their dogs in the home.
Having a relaxing spot in the house will make them feel more comfortable and less stressed out, especially during storms, when firecrackers burst or after a bad fight with a cat or another animal in the home. People can even train their dogs to go to that safe space on command.

Every pup deserves a lovely and comfy spot to sleep in, like a dog bed. If a conniving cat or a sleepy kid stole that spot, it’s up to the mutt to find the next best place to lay in. It’s clear to see in these pictures that none of the dogs have hard feelings at having lost their bed, they just seem to be grateful for a companion.

That's an awful thing to say and isn't funny even as a "joke". Many dogs get along with - and even learn to love - smaller animals such as cats and other critters that would normally be their prey in a wild setting, such as rats and rabbits. Dogs feel a great deal of love and affection for their family members, be they human or other animals.

Dachshunds look cute, but people forget they were bred as hunting dogs. For hunting badgers. Where they sent then down into the badger den. Think about that. I wouldn't say they were the smartest pups, but I've seen a pair chase away a German Shepherd by biting its legs & underside.
