Been traveling to Southern California with my best friend for a couple of years now. She lives there and I’m from Arizona. I use to know this guy, he had an apartment but he slept in his VW van. The top lifted up and the tables laid down, instant camper. He parked it on the grass right by his apartment.

I covered my 1987 red Toyota Corolla FX-16 with bumper stickers, just like this! Yes, I'm originally from Los Angeles, but was living in Texas at the time. Somehow the hippie vibe doesn't come through with a Corolla, though.

We have one of these driving around Santa Cruz as well. Went to the same place for their paint job. 😉 No Waldo’s, but can you find the CA Hwy 1 sign? (Pretty much every car near the beach has one up here. So it’s a given, right? )

It does, a couple of days out of a few months. Not nearly enough, but when it does the streets flood because they're not built for rain, people drive like they've lost their minds and the weather folks report like it's Armageddon. Still, it's home sweet home.
