There are some gifts that truly can't be bought in a store. Kids probably understand this better than any of us, and tend to be seasoned experts at putting together heartfelt tokens of appreciation at home - which usually end up being more funny for adults than their little minds could ever imagine.
At the end of the day, it's the thought that counts, right? Check out some of the most innocent, naive, and overall hilarious gifts people have received from kids below, and if you've got one of your own safely stashed away from public view, add it to our list!

Every gift is precious when a child has made it especially for you. They've used their imagination and tried their best.
In 1965 I gave this duck to my mother , for Christmas because as I said at the time, "every mother needs a duck". My sister gave this back to me shortly after my mother passed. I guess because every mother who needs a duck would like to think her son needs a duck too. I have kept it safe for many years since. This duck is 51 years old. If your mother needs a duck, whether she is with you or not, pass it on. 10872909_1...ae3a37.jpg
When I was around 7 years old, I made my Mother a handmade birthday card with the following poem: "With all my hopes and all my wishes, I will help do to the dishes. Since it is a special day, you won't have to pay." At the time, I wasn't sure what was so funny . LOL!
