Artist Reveals What’s Wrong With Our Modern Society In These 32 New Satirical Illustrations
Art is not just about beauty. One of its greatest powers is precisely the ability to reveal the realities of the world without having to use absolutely any words, thus crossing the borders of language limitations.
Polish illustrator, Pawel Kuczynski's work does exactly that. In an intelligent and creative way, the artist addresses social, political, and economic issues of global importance. Ridiculing our obsessive relationship with the virtual world, he opens up a series of questions. how peoples lives are just numbers and statistics to the people in charge
There's actually a lot going on here. The white dove (Peace) is mechanical and is being "recharged" by the child (innocence, ignorance). The soldiers are all the same, yet fighting each other (world unity vs. patriotism/nationalism). That's what I see.
Different interpretations, it would be interesting to know what the artist had in mind.

Maybe it symbolizes how the armed services defend the innocent so they can have peace but those they're defending are too ignorant to see it and treat it like a game. The standing solider has it's back to the kid like it's defending it from the other soldiers. The kid is playing with a toy dove, the dove being the symbol for peace, but their little helmet has slid down to hide their eyes, making it so they can't see what they're doing or what the army men are doing
With the current inflation rates it will soon be cheaper to heat up by burning notes than to pay your energy bill.
This is an amazing depiction of what life is like in the US. I cannot speak for other countries , but the same people that have ruined your life/ made life much more difficult with their policies will sure be trying to talk to the younger generation about how great they are.
I hate it.... I'm guilty of it and I hate it but when I pull 60 hours a week to pay bills and then do all the errands cooking and cleaning I personally can't entertain my son....
Everyone else is a peon. Just the upper crust gets that extra “ig” to be a worthy pigeon.
I could also see this one symbolizing as how low some people will go to get money.
Whole families and communities, civilians are dying because of war.

Why do people feel the need to explain every drawing? Art doesn't need to be explained. If you need to comment, say how it impacts you and move on.
Wish I could understand more of these without looking for an explanation in the comments. *sigh* Guess I'm not very deep.
The paintings are abstract and the interpretation is not going to be the same for everyone.

I really didn't enjoy these. The artwork is good, no question, but most of the themes where pretty much edgy tragic memes. Pretentious. I'm sorry, but, yeah. Like someone that has been on the internet too much and now finds a "deep" though to all what's going on, without having real insight, or understanding. It's basically buzzword (buzzpictures).
