My Wife Insisted That I Put These Comics On The Internet – They’re About A Cat We Rescued (45 New Pics)
My name is Lucas Turnbloom and I am a cartoonist from Southern California.
Last year, I went through the process of cat adoption. She’s a very sweet kitty cat, but she’s also a little, well... crazy. So, I decided to turn the funny cats' shenanigans into a webcomic called "How to Cat".
The funny comic was originally intended to be an inside joke for my wife and me, but she insisted that I put it on the internet and share the silly cat with the world. My first cute drawings were previously featured on Bored Panda.
People seem to enjoy the adventures of "Sweetie" the cute cat. I hope you do too!

Water from a pan that's been soaking in the sink for a few hours is also a gourmet drink.
I promised myself to call my cats by name only, to make them answer to it.. Two weeks I lasted and gave up to Kittyieh, Fluffy, Muzzlezies, Foofoos and other type of absolutely rubbish sweetness xD
when i was 16 my cat brought one of the rabbits from my neighbour. i was mortified but quickly climbed over the fence, cleaned the dead rabbit from dirt and put it back in the enclosure. a few days later the neighbour told my mum how the craziest Thing happened..... one of the rabbits died of old age and she burried it..and a day later it was laying in the enclosure, completly cleaned. she now believes that she had some Kind of Jesus-rabbit.
We call it "prisoner transport" in my house. I have to remove the lid at the vet to get the patient out of it.
"...and tell me how pretty/handsome I am while getting out the good crunchies."
03:03 AM Flying Kitty Wheelies up and down the stairs, ricocheting off of the pillow while yowling to wake the dead.
I have found toys under the furniture that I don't remember purchasing.
cat does this all the time, close the door and she crawls under the door...... from when he was a kitten till now, and has taught the other cats to do the same thing. there has never been privacy in my house, they even do it to my room door.
The first time I showered in my new home, I heard a noise but couldn't place the sound. I shoved the curtain fully aside to take a look, and my cat fell off the curtain rod, splayed legs and extended claws. Missed my bare body by about an inch. If he'd hit me, the scene would have rivaled Psycho.
Load More Replies...AHa yeah :D Exept when the water starts runnig, they escape with utter shock and disbelief on their faces :D
My cat stayed in the bathroom while I showered last week (usually he runs). I kept peeking out at him and he looked SO WORRIED, watching me get rained on, on purpose.
He couldn't believe you got yourself wet all over and LIKED IT.
Load More Replies...My cat doesn't come into the shower, but while I'm in it, sometimes she'll stare at it with wide eyes and meow. I don't know what she's thinking because sometimes she doesn't even care.
Up & down arrows don't cut it. We need a way to say that we're laughing so hard we're crying!
My cat is apparently terrified of the shower, but he loves me. I turn the water on and he's OUT. But he sits just on the other side of the door and when the shower goes off, he wiggles his way in to check on me. And get pets.
The cat remembers who brought it to the vet to get neutered and comes for revenge!
According to the prophecy of the cats, "Thy who cuts the pee pee, must have their pee pee beheld."
Load More Replies...Remember the Real Men commercials? Well, Real Cats drink from puddles in the shower! (And wait till you're dry to cuddle up damp.)
One of my cats used to like to sit on the edge of the tub when I showered or took a bath and paw at the bubbles if I used my body wash to make a bubble bath. The other would sit on the toilet as far away from the tub as possible once he verified I was in the shower, very skeptical of the whole water thing, but if I didn't let him in the bathroom, he would howl outside the door.
I ducked into the bathroom where I have my cats’ litter boxes and after I sat down I saw my cat looking very discomfited since I hadn’t realized the bathroom was “occupied” at the time. At first I felt bad for her but then I was like “see b*tch, now you know how much it sucks when you walk in on ME.”
The more cherished, expensive or irreplaceable the item the more irresistible it is to the cat. I just can't have nice things.
Oh thank God! I was freaking out my cat was the onyl one acting this way. He yells at me every single day, doesnt matter its 0 celsius outside. HE WANTS OUT. And I feel so miserable being scolded by him all the time xD
Yes. Mine always has dry food in her bowl but always insists that I pet her or at least stand next to her while she eats, including every night sometimes at about 3am, and about 10 minutes later when I'm back in bed she wants me to let her out :/ (and later my aunt lets her back in and she climbs on my chest ... there are almost no entirely peaceful - or lonely - nights for me). And yes, she sometimes simply walks away from the food after asking for me to come, even if I give her fresh food and give in and pet her waiting for her to eat. She just sniffs the food and enjoys the pets and then walks away. She also doesn't like to be pet when eating wet food or anything else than dry food but still wants me to stand next to her. And sometimes after she asks for it and I give her fresh wet food she also just sniffs it and walks away, only not as often as with dry food. She's complicated and picky but I love her.
The Quality Inspector has verified that all squares are perforated and of a consistent size and correct quantity according to manufacturing parameters. This is especially true when guests are arriving soon.
I get spite hairballs for things I did a couple of years ago, or six months ago, or however long ago. Cats have long memories when it comes to imaginary offenses.
These all ring true, only the color was changed to protect the innocent...HA!
I love these so much!! The cat is very cute, and this is all very creative. 11/10, would recommend.
I really liked how violent Clovis was.
Load More Replies...I ADORE these cartoons! They're so unique and I can see my cat Pallas in many of them... PLEASE do many many more of them. Why not turning them into a book? I would definitely buy it (several times, as presents for friends with cats, too!).
I have lived with cats more days than not. Years ago I took in a pregnant stray whom I dubbed Ragamuffin. She had five kittens, all of whom eventually found responsible forever homes. I also had Rags fixed. She was my companion for all of 17 wonderful years. After she passed - in her sleep, thankfully - matters came full circle when one of my co-workers took in a pregnant stray, and I took two of the kittens when they were old enough. Several of these made me laugh out loud!
fantastic! he really encapsulates the essence if kitties in so few words and drawings! amazing. was a complete pleasure to read!
These are awesome! Apparently allocate are the same. My car does them all.
As a lifelong cat servant I can attest to the verity of each and every cartoon. I laughed fit to choke!.😂
These are mostly familiar (except in So Cal cats should be kept indoors in most cases.) You could come over and meet Johnny aka Drooly--boy, a black and white fountain. Cat's favorite position, on my chest with tuchas six inches from my face. I've read it's to protect the human, but I'm not so sure. Anyway, very enjoyable. More, please.
Seriously dude? WHY ask why? It's pointless as the cat will NEVER tell you. EVER. :) Great comic tho. :D
Ah THESE are up my alley. The cutesie, lovie dovie ones (while very well done).....not so much. Love the ones that just end with an ambulance :D
