My Wife Insisted That I Put These Comics On The Internet – They’re About A Cat We Rescued (45 New Pics)
My name is Lucas Turnbloom and I am a cartoonist from Southern California.
Last year, I went through the process of cat adoption. She’s a very sweet kitty cat, but she’s also a little, well... crazy. So, I decided to turn the funny cats' shenanigans into a webcomic called "How to Cat".
The funny comic was originally intended to be an inside joke for my wife and me, but she insisted that I put it on the internet and share the silly cat with the world. My first cute drawings were previously featured on Bored Panda.
People seem to enjoy the adventures of "Sweetie" the cute cat. I hope you do too!

Water from a pan that's been soaking in the sink for a few hours is also a gourmet drink.
I promised myself to call my cats by name only, to make them answer to it.. Two weeks I lasted and gave up to Kittyieh, Fluffy, Muzzlezies, Foofoos and other type of absolutely rubbish sweetness xD
when i was 16 my cat brought one of the rabbits from my neighbour. i was mortified but quickly climbed over the fence, cleaned the dead rabbit from dirt and put it back in the enclosure. a few days later the neighbour told my mum how the craziest Thing happened..... one of the rabbits died of old age and she burried it..and a day later it was laying in the enclosure, completly cleaned. she now believes that she had some Kind of Jesus-rabbit.
We rescued a 7-month-old kitty from my friend's farm and took him directly to the vet to make sure no diseases that he could give to our other cats. If anyone remembers the cartoon of the Tasmanian Devil nailed into a crate, that was the precise experience!! I have never seen a cat carrier bounce like it had a rabid honey badger on meth in it!!! I was pretty sure the leather and canvas carrier was close to shredded, so we ran into the vet's and threw him at a staff so they could deal with him!!! Sweetest baby in the world, otherwise, and I'm glad we took him home :)
My cat has a cat flap with her own key, so she goes partying every night. Sometimes the disco is under my bedroom window... oh well. Love her.
cat does this all the time, close the door and she crawls under the door...... from when he was a kitten till now, and has taught the other cats to do the same thing. there has never been privacy in my house, they even do it to my room door.
My cat never destroyed anything valuable, never. She' s not scratching , not throwing anything down... maybe she's a saint???
Oh thank God! I was freaking out my cat was the onyl one acting this way. He yells at me every single day, doesnt matter its 0 celsius outside. HE WANTS OUT. And I feel so miserable being scolded by him all the time xD
Mine disappear at the slightest possibility of something new happening
Yes. Mine always has dry food in her bowl but always insists that I pet her or at least stand next to her while she eats, including every night sometimes at about 3am, and about 10 minutes later when I'm back in bed she wants me to let her out :/ (and later my aunt lets her back in and she climbs on my chest ... there are almost no entirely peaceful - or lonely - nights for me). And yes, she sometimes simply walks away from the food after asking for me to come, even if I give her fresh food and give in and pet her waiting for her to eat. She just sniffs the food and enjoys the pets and then walks away. She also doesn't like to be pet when eating wet food or anything else than dry food but still wants me to stand next to her. And sometimes after she asks for it and I give her fresh wet food she also just sniffs it and walks away, only not as often as with dry food. She's complicated and picky but I love her.
It took my cat three years to get used to the cat tree I got her. Now she loves it. There could be hope.
omgoood it's so good the ambulance may as well park in front of their house
I get spite hairballs for things I did a couple of years ago, or six months ago, or however long ago. Cats have long memories when it comes to imaginary offenses.
